Stopped over night before catching the boat to Arran, was a great pub, staff friendly, room decent size and comfy bed, free bottles of water, free parking (had no issues finding parking), on doorstep of ferry terminal and breakfast was amazing. I ate at a restaurant in town, there were several places to eat/drink around here all within easy walking distance. I would recommend.

Really friendly welcome and nice room. Great location with the sea on 3 sides. Only stayed one night but would happily go back again. On street parking easy to find.
There are quite a few stairs to manage.

Great location opposite ferry so easy journey to catch an early ferry to Arran.
Room was spacious, cosy and warm. Lots of sockets and hangers for clothes. Bed was comfy and I slept well.
Friendly staff, felt very welcome.
Good dinner too on site.
Shower was a bit weak.

Location was great - close to town. Parking for our rental car was good too. The staff are excellent. They are very helpful & nothing is too much trouble
The sloping floor in the bedroom was really uncomfortable, we weren’t allowed to open the windows & there was no ventilation or towel rails in the bathroom.
