Questa casa è arredata con gusto, dotata di tocchi meravigliosi e dispone di servizi costieri divertenti come una piscina privata recintata e una vasca idromassaggio. La cucina è ben fornita e l'arte in tutta la casa rende omaggio agli uccelli e alla fauna selvatica locali, che puoi vedere, tutto l'anno proprio fuori dalle finestre sul lago! Tutta la famiglia godrà di gite in bicicletta e passeggiate lungo i sentieri e le strade naturali di questa tranquilla comunità.
I bambini adoreranno il primo livello della casa, con una propria sala TV e un tavolo da biliardo (che si trasforma facilmente in ping-pong). Fino a sei bambini possono dormire nella camera da letto di livello 1 e avere una camera da letto propria. Inoltre, tutti gli ospiti potranno gustare snack e bevande nell'angolo cottura a pochi passi dalla terrazza della piscina.
Al secondo livello, la tua famiglia può riunirsi attorno al grande tavolo della cucina e al bar per la colazione per i pasti e l'intrattenimento. The property was very nice and pretty clean. I would suggest getting window air conditioner units for the upstairs bedroom very hot up there. And they need some dish towels. Kitchen very well stocked.

Overall we had a fantastic time. The pool and hot tub perfectly fit our family's needs. The house is set back at the end of the street so there are two neighbors but it is very secluded still. The hosts are great to communicate with.
Some areas needed work.
1. The house was not very clean. Very dusty, you could tell the filter in the house had not been changed in a very long time. Lots of very large cobwebs inside the house. We were required to clean the countertops and tables, and vacuum before we unpacked. We all developed a cough that stopped once at home.
2. Ants Ants Ants, everywhere. There should be some continued services for this.
3. If you have a hard time with stairs, do not choose this property. Very steep stairs.
4. The AC in the Master was not working very well. It was by far the hottest room in the house.
5. All of the shower curtains are moldy.
6. The fire alarm kept going off at weird times.
7. The "short walk" to the beach was not at all. It was a long walk, especially with kids.

Overrall it was a nice house and fairly spacious for our group. The only thing we weren't happy about was the roaches in the grill and the hot tub was not working right. We enjoyed using the pool table and the ping pong table alot at our stay. The pool was great for the kids as well when we did get in.

Our family really enjoyed everything about this home. The baby gates were an added bonus. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions. Plenty of room, nice layout. I would recommend staying here.

Not clean
Had to clean when we got there. There was a bag of goldfish a peach in the pullout couch in living room. The pool pump only worked for 5 minutes it needed to be taken apart cleaned and put back together. I messaged the owner 2 days before check in about the kids scooter and never got a reply. Wifi wasn't working 3 days later they fixed it. The garbage cans smelled so bad that was sitting by the door we almost threw up. Not a good experience at all.

Vacation
The house and location are great. The property is a need of a little updating. The deck is old and splintering and the access to the path around the lake is in need of better landscaping.

Close to the beach and the pool and hot tub were great! We walked to shopping and restaurants nearby for exercise. The owners were very responsive!

The owners were easy to communicate with, responsive and unobtrusive. The house is nice and set up nicely to accommodate a large group.
It really needs a good thorough cleaning, though, including having the carpets shampooed and the beds/mattresses need to be updated. I would also have liked to have, at least, some of the basic accoutrements in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper.
The hot tub is amazing and the pool was very nice and well maintained, but, much smaller than it appears in the pictures.

Family Getaway
The owners were easy to communicate with, responsive and unobtrusive. The house is nice and set up nicely to accommodate a large group.
It really needs a good thorough cleaning, though, including having the carpets shampooed and the beds/mattresses need to be updated. I would also have liked to have, at least, some of the basic accoutrements in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper.
The hot tub is amazing and the pool was very nice and well maintained, but, much smaller than it appears in the pictures.

We had a last minute cancellation with our original rental and this Corolla property was a godsend, saved our family vacation. I inquired about the property and the owner, Elysha, got back to me right away and was able to help me book it so quickly even though it was so last minute. She was completely understanding. The property was absolutely perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Everyone had their own bathrooms and bedrooms. The pool was perfect for an everyday swim for our little ones and the kitchen was fully stocked for our family cooked meals. The house is also perfectly located right in the middle of Corolla, just off the main road but hidden from all the traffic. The beach is quite a walk and you have to carry all your beach gear up the stairs over the dunes. We solved that by having someone drop us off by car. But the beaches are not crowded and the water was warm and clear when we visited. I highly recommend staying at the Corolla escape. From the inviting house, to the central location and great communication from the owner, it was all outstanding.

This was our first visit to OBX. We loved the location and the lake views! The walk to the beach was not far, and we liked that we only saw one neighbor when sitting on the deck! We brought our dog, and when I vacuumed the carpet on Tues and Thurs, I noticed the carpet was dirtier than just from our dog. Not sure anyone vacuumed as well as I did. Also, the tiled floors were dirty and our socks were black after playing pool one night. I could save my cleaning fee and do a better job.

Using the site and renting was very easy. Especially during the pandemic we really appreciated the flexibility to cancel with limited notice . It was a big decision factor in selecting a property.

This property is dated but has great amenities. We used the pool and hot tub daily and loved being close to the lake. We all loved walking the trail and feeding the turtles on the north side of the lake. The entrance to the trail is on the other side of the neighboring home. Elysha was an amazing host and very responsive. The master bedroom has great views but you can't really see the ocean. Sunrises are great and the beach is about a 7-10 minute walk. The bunks are really tight in the kids room downstairs so I wouldn't feel comfortable with more than two kids per bunk. It's a great location if you need to go to Duck or Northern Corolla. We would stay again.

Loved the Location!

We all had a wonderful time and the property was great! We all enjoyed the pool and the multiple decks and the views of the pond! We will definitely be back again next year!

I emailed manager right away and she apologized and ask if she could send someone to clean I had already washed sheets and towels and cleaned. A cleaning lady came 4 days into our stay and asked if we needed her to clean, a little late at that point.
I don’t ever plan to rent another house for vacation, I will stick to hotels or condos.

There were a few small issues. When we arrived one of the beds didn't have linens, there were none the right size in the house and it took a couple days to get them. The listing mentioned there were beach and bath towels but we only found bath towels, and there weren't enough of those.

The house is carpeted throughout the second and third floors and can get a bit musty and damp given the humidity and activities (pool/beach). Mattresses were not great and bunk beds on first floor were not very functional. Some lights/lamps were not working and extra light bulbs were not supplied. Two of the smoke detectors started beeping for low battery overnight and woke kids both nights. Thermostat is capped at 70 (which I don’t blame property owners) but can get warm at night with doors closed. Overall nice place but could use some tweaks.

Perfect week
The house was perfect for our family. The short walk to the beach was nice and being near the pond was good also. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to have more kitchen supplies. Mixing bowls, griddle and small things of that nature. Overall the house was perfect and we very much enjoyed our stay and family time.
