We absolutely loved staying at this apartment. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of everything, it was easy to get to any place in Dubrovnik old town. People watching out the window to the main street was entertaining. Maro was great - communication was excellent. He met my sister at the gate and took her to the apartment to show her around. The photos very accurately reflect the apartment and we were very comfortable there. It had everything we needed. We were glad to have the air conditioning. The only downside was the three flights of stairs, but it was clearly stated in the listing and we were expecting it. Everything in Dubrovnik has stairs either inside or outside and we were happy ours were inside. They allowed us to leave our luggage on a locked landing outside the apartment on the last day which was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay there again - and would recommend it to my friends!

So to be clear. Maro, the owner was great! He met us at Pile Gate and walked us to the apartment. He was friendly and helpful and they even left some complimentary welcome drinks for us which is super thoughtful. The location was perfect in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik. MY only issue: This is advertised as a 2 bedroom but is not a 2 bedroom. It is a one bedroom with a pull out sofa in the living area (small living room and kitchen combined). In fairness to Maro, in the deep details of the listing it clarifies the layout, BUT rather than explain it in the details, IT really should be only advertised as a one bedroom (as so many other apartments like this were). We needed a 2 bedroom and was one of the 2 key reasons I booked this place. Should I have read ALL the details? Sure. BUT when I saw it advertised as a two bedroom and it had a great location, I reserved it. For a one bedroom this would be a 5 star due to location and host. But it just should not be advertised as a two bedroom.

A cute apartment on the main street of old town therefore everything is walking distance. The apartment is very clean and well furnished. Nothing is missing from towels, to an outlet plug converter to ground coffee and tea bags. Even though the apartment is located on the 3rd floor [no elevator], the water pressure is great. Maro greeted us outside the wall of Old Town and helped us to bring our luggage from the taxi drop-off all the way inside the apartment!! On Saturday, Maro allowed us to leave our luggage in a safe storage location on the same level of the apartment allowing us to enjoy the city prior our flight. As we were leaving Maro went out of his way to meet us and help us to bring the luggage down the stairs and up to the taxi line - Such a gentleman! Thank you again 😊

Our flight was arriving early and we had a wedding to get to. Kate was so kind to let us drop our bags early so we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to store them. She met us at the property and told us the apartment was already ready for us, which was a nice surprise. We were so grateful to have some time to freshen up before heading out. Kate was so kind to help us navigate the Old City by pointing out some places that may be of interest, like grocery stores and landmarks, and how to get to them. The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location to explore the Old City. It is above an Irish pub, so was a little loud at times but it really wasn’t a nuisance at all. Pro tip: The apartment can connect to another unit that could be used for larger groups! For smaller groups such as ours, the door is locked. Good to know for future visits. Overall our experience was great and the host was really kind. Would definitely stay again.

The manager Maro went out of his way to come lead us to the apartment, then helped with parking and more. The location couldn't be better - middle of the main walking street and great for people-watching. The only down side I can think of is the 3-story walkup which would not be suitable for people with difficulty walking. Would easily recommend it to others.

Flat very nice, clean and overlooking the stradum. Kate was very nice, always replied to emails promptly and was there to welcome us. I recommend the property but be aware of many stairs to gain access and also very noisy from the irish bar and sometimes the stradum.

Amazing apt in Old Town ion the Main Street. Beautifully decorated with tremendous views. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops, banks etc. 5 Star property. Owner met us when we arrived and when we left. If you want to be in Old Town this is the place for you.

This is a very well maintained apartment in a great location - right in the middle of the action in Old Town. Perfect for a city break. The owner was great at communication and helping us settle. Highly recommend! Superb!

We had a great stay! I would recommend this flat to anyone comfortable with old stairwells. If you meet this criteria, it’s well worth it!!

Great location in a great place to visit. Terrific hub for your old town stay. Maro communicates immediately and answers all questions and is very helpful. Kate handles all details and provides excellent information. We would definitely stay here again on next trip! Don’t hesitate.

Can't get much better than this location. Right in the center of the center. At the bottom of the hills on both sides so no climbing just to get home. It is on the main street through town so might get "lively" in the height of the season but was fine when we were there. Maro (host) met us at the bus station (we bussed in from Split), got us in a taxi and then met us at the other end and escorted us to the apartment. Nice touch. He showed us around the place and a quick overview of the surroundings. The unit is up 3 flights of steps so just plan for that.

We stayed for 4 days in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. This apartment was centrally located and extremely convenient....easy to stop midday to refresh. Everything was neat and clean, just as described. Secure, safe location. Loved having access to a washer and refrigerator. Maro went above and beyond to meet us at the Pile gate when we came in on the airport bus, and helped us with our luggage. Others have mentioned noise due to the central location...however we did not find it to be a problem. With the shutters closed it was possible to hear people talking and some celebrating at a bar as background noise, but it definitely beats the sounds of a more typical urban location...horns honking, sirens, etc. Even so, everything quieted down after 11pm, even on the weekend. I would highly recommend my friends and family to stay here.

Great apartment that is centrally located on the main causeway of Dubrovnik. Maro was very helpful in getting us acquainted with the area. Only challenge was the steps up to the apartment with luggage. Spacious and clean.

In the center of the action. If you want quiet you would do better elsewhere. Plenty of places to eat & drink right outside the door. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the center of night life.

We ended our trip to Croatia with time in Dubrovnik and staying at Ivo apartment was perfect! It is in the heart of the main street and we were able to take in the sights and sounds of this amazing city. We were fortunate enough to be there for the semi-finals of the world cup as Croatia beat Russia and the excitement was contagious! Kate was a gracious host and I would recommend this apartment. It is small and it has several steps to get up to it, but that is part of its charm.

If you are a light sleeper or you dont like stairs or have lots of heavy bulky luggage - note that there is noise from street below. And the apartment is on the third floor - about 50 steps up.

The location is absolutely excellent, the apparment is modern, clean, fully equipped and charmy.

You cannot get anymore centrally located than this lovely apartment which overlooks the main drag in old town Dubrovnik . Since it is in the heart of everything, there are lots of tourists and party people having a good time until the early hours. Join the fun and have a great time, like we did. Thanks to Kate for giving us some good tips for great food and can’t miss sights.

The apartment is spacious, well equipped, comfortable and stylish. It can be a bit noisey but that's to be expected in such a central location and being on the second floor helps mitigate this. The owner was very communicative and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the apartment again or to recommend it to others.

Anfang April waren wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder in diesem schönen Appartement zu Gast. Es liegt sehr zentral mitten in der Altstadt von Dubrovnik. Zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten läuft man nicht länger als 10 Minuten. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt (siehe Bilder). Alles was benötigt werden könnte ist vorhanden, von Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Fernseher bis zur Waschmaschine. Kate, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und holte uns direkt am Pile - Tor ab. Zwei Punkte sollte man aber bedenken : Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral, d.h. Restaurants und Kneipen liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Super für jeden, der sich ins Nachtleben stürzen möchte. Urlauber mit leichtem Schlaf könnten sich durch die Müllabfuhr und die Gasflaschenanlieferer am frühen Morgen um ihre Nachtruhe gebracht fühlen oder die noch leere Stadt genießen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und vielen Dank an Kate.
