It's a nice, clean and comfortable hotel, relatively standard (in a good way). The room has all amenities you might need and there is a convenience store on the ground floor. The view of the surrounding mountains is great!
I recommend staying in Sabuk even if you're mainly visiting Taebaek/Mindungsan (as I did). Due to being the closest town to Korea's only casino that allows Korean patrons, there are many 24/7 convenience stores here as well as restaurants which stay open much later than in other towns. The train station, which is within walking distance of the hotel, also makes it easy so get to the other towns in the area.
The price seemed a bit high considering there didn't seem to be too many guests. The windows could also be cleaned more often.
