No. 33 Cottage 1, Thornham, Norfolk
Un bellissimo cottage rinnovato di recente e in stile professionale che offre sistemazioni di lusso per due nel grazioso villaggio di Thornham. C'è una bella zona soggiorno a pianta aperta con cucina moderna, scaffalature rustiche e bar per la colazione che si apre su un accogliente salotto con comodo divano e stufa a legna. Al piano superiore è semplicemente sensazionale con una camera da letto spaziosa e ben arredata e bagno privato con ampia cabina doccia e vasca roll top. All'esterno c'è un favoloso giardino con terrazza privata e prato e parcheggio fuori strada per una macchina.

We had a lovely stay at Cottage 1 with our black Labrador puppy on his first holiday! The cottage was beautifully equipped and big enough for us 3. It was lovely to pop into the deli just across the road and we felt the location was perfect for Brancaster, Holkham Hall, Sandringham, Burnham Market and Burnham Overy Staithe where we visited each day! Thank you, we will be returning!

When we book cottages we always go for luxury having stayed in some grotty cottages in the past.
We didn't get it here.
Yes all the finishing touches were lovely.
The welcome basket of bread, biscuits and a bag of crisps as well as milk and orange juice in the fridge.
The towels and bathroom accessories were all very nice.
But the massive cobwebs in the bedroom windows, the fact that the extractor fan didn't work or that the patio door was stuck and took some effort to open.
The cottage was right next to the main road and the parking meant bumping up the kerb and then beaching on the GPO covers because there was not enough gravel or ramps was not worth the luxury rating.
Also considering it is owned by the Deli opposite, it was very nice to be offered a 10% discount card, but was disappointing that we could only use it if we ate in, considering the huge hike in all the prices in the shop.
We have stayed in Thornham 3 times now from 6 bed houses with all the family to this 1 bed house.
Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this one to our friends.
