Zen Kyoto Apartment Hotel

The room resembled a normal japanese apartment with thigs like a stove and washing machine. But the bedroom area was just as good as any hotel room from a 3 or 4 star hotel. So if you want a hotel style accommodation with the facilities of an apartment, this is the perfect place

There was not much food or restaurant around the area so finding something to eat around the area was a little tricky.

The room was very clean, contemporary and had all amenities. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Be sure to hit the bar at night next to the lobby and elevator and visit with them. We had great conversations about things, my son played the piano in the bar as they is allowed and he is a very good player. Good times and very memorable.

It’s right next to the Takeda train station which is both great and somewhat bad at the same time. Great close access to the trains, but that also positions you a bit further from ‘things to do’ in town within easy walking distance. This is not a big negative, just plan accordingly for your stay.

Great apartment. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, kitchen with essentials, microwave, refrigerator, stove top. It was great to have a washer to do laundry. There is no dryer but there are hangers and there is a way to dry your clothes in the bathroom (you just need to use your translator). This apartment is walking distance to the subway line, Seven Eleven, grocery store, and a 100 Yen store, tons of stuff close by. There is also a cafe/bar on the lobby area with tables if you need to work or just relax. If you are visiting your Temple University student, this place is convenient and great access to the University and easy train ride to Kyoto station and surroundings. This apartment complex was clean and super friendly staff.
