Immerso in De Leon Springs, questo affascinante casa a 100 € per notte è un eccellente opzione per il tuo prossimopausa. Se vuoi semplificare ed essere ispirato dalla natura, questo è il posto giusto per farlo. La vecchia casa in stile cracker della Florida è stata recentemente rinnovata e ha la sensazione di "Cross Creek". Se hai bisogno di sfuggire alla vita complicata, c'è una pace al "Grace Cottage Retreat" dove puoi tornare al tuo essere più intimo, ricaricare e raccogliere l'ispirazione per creare il tuo libro, canzone o pittura. "Grace" è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dal De Leon Springs State Park. C'è una buona energia dalle sorgenti. Inoltre, ci sono molte altre opportunità per andare in bicicletta, in canoa, in kayak e fare escursioni in vari parchi vicini. Deland si trova a 7 miglia di distanza e offre molta cultura attraverso musei, buon cibo e musica. "Grace" è anche a un'ora di auto dalla spiaggia o da Orlando. È l'hub perfetto da cui si può sperimentare la diversità della Florida. C'è una camera da letto "principale" con un letto matrimoniale che può ospitare comodamente 2. Poi c'è un letto singolo sulla veranda chiusa nella parte anteriore della casa. Poi c'è una tana con TV e divanetto. Un materasso pieghevole a terra è riposto nell'armadio per il 4 ° ospite occasionale. C'è un bagno con cabina doccia; detto questo, la casa è più adatta per una coppia o 3 persone al massimo. "Grace" ha un ampio cortile recintato ed è amico degli animali. Il treno corre dietro la proprietà, quindi ogni tanto sentirai il fischio e il rombo. I miei nonni vivevano in una città della ferrovia meridionale, quindi questo è nostalgico e divertente per me insieme a molti ospiti di Grace. C'è un ponte anteriore e un ponte posteriore per rilassarsi all'aperto.

This cottage was a gem. My son and I loved sleeping to the souls of the cicadas and waking up with the birds and neighborhood rooster. The property and cottage are beautiful. We walked over to the spring and swam most of our days and hiked in the nearby Lake Woodburn National Wildlife Refuge, where we saw alligators and numerous birds at dusk. I am so glad we found this gem. The neighbors were very friendly too. When I asked if we could buy some eggs from them, they gifted us a dozen. We really loved exploring around De Leon Springs, Deland & Stetson art museums, Earth Hx museum & restaurants, Ormond Beach, snorkeling the local springs, the Reptile Center, and went to Sea World for a day. Catching lizards, orange juice from the backyard tree, slow mornings, chess on the front porch with my sweet 11-year old, ice cream cones in hand, will be a memories I treasure forever. We both loved it!!!

My wife and I had a great time at Grace Cottage. The cottage is roomy, nicely furnished, comfortable, clean, has a nice vintage/artistic vibe. The large yard was a bonus, also. Rachel was responsive and easy to work with.
We visited nearby DeLeon Springs State Park, and found it a beautiful place to swim, walk, and relax.
Nearby DeLand to be a great place—lots of fun shops and restaurants. The Stetson Mansion was fantastic, also.
Daytona, Ormond, and New Smyrna beaches are approximately 40 minutes away, and easy to get to.
We recommend this property, and would definitely stay here again.

Great place off the beaten track
My wife and I had a great time at Grace Cottage. The cottage is roomy, nicely furnished, comfortable, clean, has a nice vintage/artistic vibe. The large yard was a bonus, also. Rachel was responsive and easy to work with.

We loved our stay at GRACE. However, we can not assign a five star until attention is directed at replacing the bed. It was way too firm and by the third night, we were looking at alternative arrangements, like the floor. Everything else was perfect. Fine sheets and towels, excellent art on the walls, excellent communication between parties, cozy bungalow, wonderfully fenced backyard that two dogs enjoyed to the max. WE LOVED IT but encourage the owner to address the bed issue.

Great Place!

It was way too firm and by the third night, we were looking at alternative arrangements, like the floor. Everything else was perfect. Fine sheets and towels, excellent art on the walls, excellent communication between parties, cozy bungalow, wonderfully fenced backyard that two dogs enjoyed to the max. WE LOVED IT but encourage the owner to address the bed issue.

front door window from street into bedroom). TV placed in back room, hottest place in the house. Poor lighting in backyard limiting
visibility through much tropical foliage,especially when taking your
dog out during dark hours

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for our needs. It was in walking distance of beautiful De Leon Springs State Park. Rachel and the neighbors were very helpful with any issues we had. Deland is just a few miles away and offers great dining, shopping and a must do tour of Stetson Mansion. Ormond Beach is gorgeous and within a 40 minute drive. we look forward to staying again.

Looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to recharge your batteries. Close enough to drive to attractions or enjoy what is there. Surrounded by enchanting greenery, flowers, birds singing and close walk to Ponce De Leon Springs. Well maintained environment.
