This property - which is really two houses in one -was a great choice for our group of four parents and six college age kids. The property has a separate, newer addition with a kitchen/living room area and large bedroom, which was great for the kids to spend time together, play games and loud music. That space was located next to the garage which was converted into a game room. The main part of the home has a big stone fireplace which kept the space warm. The property was conveniently located minutes from the mountain, restaurants and bars which made it easy to shuttle our group back and forth to the resort especially when someone forgot their ski boots. We had ten people and plenty of room for more guests to sleep or hang out. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. There was a ton of space for all the ski equipment and ski bags to stay warm and dry. Our hosts were extremely informative and responsive to every request or question. If we can find time to go back to Stratton, we would definitely return to this property. Thank you Alex, Rebecca and Eddie for your hospitality!

Just returned yesterday from a long weekend with 8 friends and family at the Taylor Farm house. The house was so clean, comfortable, well appointed and spacious, we couldn't be happier. The hosts were very responsive and anticipated all of our questions and needs fantastically. The only "con" was that it is not on the Stratton Mt shuttle route and we had to drive about 12 mins to the base several times each day. Other than that, a 5-star stay! Thank you Alex and Rebecca!

This property is perfect for a large group, ample beds and bathrooms, 2 kitchen areas. we had a rainy weekend so spent a lot of time at the house and it was spacious enough that everyone was comfortable

During our recent stay there we’re 14 of us and our dog. The place was plenty big for every to spread out but also stay close together at the same time. The big table in the kitchen was nice for every one to sit and eat together. The guest house was a huge plus since we had our dog. We could keep her there to make sure she didn’t get too excited with the commotion of old friends. The game room in the garage and sauna were huge perks as well, both got plenty of use from our group. But the biggest plus for us was the number of bedrooms! Made it so every person got their own bed and every couple had their own room which was great when winding down at the end of the night! We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future gatherings!

This is a great property for a large group! We had 3 couples and two other adults. It was very clean, owners were easy to reach, guest house is adorable, and everyone had their own space. If traveling with a dog (two like we were) be mindful that the “fenced in yard” is not conducive to letting your dogs run free off leash, but other than that, it met our needs nicely!

I've had the pleasure of visiting Stratton with my ski shop every year for the past decade for demo days and have to say this is the best fit we've found for our group to date!
Booking and checking in was seamless, parking was not a problem even with most people in our group driving separately and it was a great location to access everything around Stratton.
We lucked out and got a couple inches of fresh snow our first night and were greeted with an amazing view of Bromley mountain the next morning! The two-houses-in-one setup worked perfectly for us. The younger group could stay up later and play music in the guest house without disturbing the older crowd in the main house. We made use of both kitchens (one was the breakfast bar and the other was for cooking dinner) and all the bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get out of the house and to the mountain before first chair! Our only regret was only being able to stay for three nights. We enjoyed this house so much and would love to stay again next year!

I stayed at Alex & Rebecca's with 16 friends for a ski weekend. The house was great and super close to Stratton. There was so much space for everyone to hang out and plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Alex & Rebecca were super responsive & helpful leading up to the trip & checked in to make sure everything was okay when we arrived. We had a great time and would definitely recommend for anyone looking with a big group!

This is the second time we have stayed here. We are a ski team who travels quite regularly and this is in the top 3 houses we have stayed in throughout New England. The Owners are always quick to respond to questions and help with anything when needed. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we have races in Stratton.

As a person who spends a lot of time In the kitchen cooking for 10-14 people on a daily basis, I thought that the kitchen in the main house was goin to be an issue because it is kind of on the small size BUT having the guest house in addition to the main house allowed us to store it all and have multiple ovens going for the 4 days we were there.
The fire place in the living room ended up being the gathering place every night to tell the stories of the day and kept us nice and toasty!
The owners were very communicative and we felt that they were there for us if need be. Would totally visit again!

This is a big, meandering house with a quirky layout. We were a co-ed group of friends, no couples, and there was plenty of privacy for all. The guest house is lovely. The main house isn’t as nice but completely utilitarian. Oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer are all great.
Fitting 10 adults around the kitchen table for dinner is a tight squeeze, but we like each other :). It would be great if the owners ditched one of the couches and added a big farmhouse table.
House was great! I would rent again! Owner is responsive.

Great for gatherings and nearby adventures
Our group has routinely done an annual trip to Vermont to spend quality time together, hike a bit, and explore. Alex's home was perfect for our trip and had plenty of bedrooms and hangout space for all. Being in Windhall also gave us easy access to hikes, waterfalls, swimming holes, and such.
Alex is very communicative and made the whole process very easy. He even included several pages of recommendations in the area.

Great place for a big gathering
We stayed here for a weekend with 4 families. The host Alex and Rebecca are great and are available all the time for any questions. We rented the whole house (guest house and the farm house ) . Would love to go back sometime.

The house was as advertised and very spacious. The main floor of the guest house was the perfect spot when we all wanted to gather together. We enjoyed the fall foliage from the deck. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking large meals. And our hosts were super responsive to each message I sent them.

We had a large group and rented both houses. Plenty of areas to hang out together or to lounge on our own / in smaller groups. A massive plus was the 5.5 bathrooms. While there was no AC, the bedrooms each have fans and it really only bothered us 1 night when it was really humid. Note that the bedroom in the guest house is on the second floor that connects to the living room through a spiral staircase and there's no door.

The house was set up well for a large group; each of us had our own space and there was lots to do: pop-a-shot, foosball, board games, air hockey. The yard was nice, the road is quite and good for peaceful walks. There were multiple kitchens so plenty of space for cooking.

Wonderful stay in Vermont
Alex and Rebecca's place was great for our extended family vacation. There was plenty of space to spread out and visit, both inside and out, and a nice, easily accessible bedroom on the first floor for my 88-year-old mother. Nice hikes and swimming holes are nearby for those who want adventure. Great location and wonderful home!

Property was “as advertised” with plenty of common space and bedrooms to spread out and be comfortable. Communication by and with Owner was fantastic. Location to Stratton was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Great Value for Plenty of Space
I rented this home in the Spring with some friends to grill, hike and relax for a long weekend and we loved the property. The house felt much bigger than the pictures show and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owners were also very responsive with to any questions I had leading up to, and during my stay.

Great large home for groups
The home is basically split in two with one large older home and one smaller home. They both sleep lots of people! The great thing about having both homes was having two kitchens. We were 5 families with 6 kids and it was perfect! The home was clean and filled with everything you would need.

Perfect House for Age-Diverse Family
Taylor farmhouse was perfect for our large and age-diverse group which ranged from our adult (20/30-something) children to our 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 year-old grandchildren, and there was plenty of space to stay out of each other's way thanks to the two separate living spaces. The farmhouse and guest house were clean and uncluttered with comfortable furniture and beds and 2 full kitchens so we could prepare big meals without tripping over each other.
The house is in close proximity to Stratton Base which was great because we shuttled the small kids back and forth as the temperatures were well below freezing.
The owners were extremely responsive to any questions we had, and checked in during our stay to make sure all was well.
I would highly recommend the Taylor Farm House and hope to return.
