Whitetail Lodge! Renovated 6 Bed, 3 bath Ski In @ Apex Mountain with Sauna. ⛷🎿
Goditi la polvere di champagne e le vedute delle piste da sci da questo chalet unico nel suo genere. Questo SKI IN e quasi SKI OUT home sarà la migliore esperienza di cabina. Lo chalet ha appena subito una ristrutturazione completa con nuovi mobili. 4 letto 2 bagni che si trova su un lotto di mezzo acro che fornisce tonnellate di privacy su una strada senza uscita chiamata Whitetail Road. Batti il caldo e guidi 30 minuti a Penticton o Oliver in estate alle cantine o al lago. Questa prenotazione ti farà tornare per anni.
Il lodge è a soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla pista dei cavalli che porta al villaggio o agli impianti di risalita. Apex ha alcune delle piste più verticali in B. C., rendendolo un paradiso per gli amanti dello sciatore estremo. È anche impostato per il principiante in quanto ha una delle migliori piste verdi chiamato il Grandfather Trail. L'Okanagan ha alcune delle più leggere nevicate in cui sciare e viene indicato come Champagne Powder. Se si vuole battere il caldo in estate, Apex è fantastico in estate con il lago Nickel Plate a soli 10 minuti di auto lungo la strada dove è caricato con trote arcobaleno e altre specie. L'Apex Mountain è anche noto per i percorsi per mountain bike e i sentieri escursionistici che si trovano fuori dalla porta di casa.

This is a very nice place to stay for a few days . Check in was smooth and the host provided clear details. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. All the beds were comfortable and the place is clean. The hot tub is a very nice addition so is the space around it. We had a great time with family!

We had 6 adults in our group which I think would be the maximum for your stay as there’s only one bathroom with a shower. We didn’t have a problem with this as we weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere each day. It was a bit tight for time on the last day having to be out by 10am 😂
The cabin was lovely and clean and comfortable. We could’ve done with one more “comfy” seat in the living room so we could all sit to watch a movie. Overall we really enjoyed our short stay there.

Everything about our stay at the cabin was great. Our host took the time to email us before our stay with a detailed guideline on what to expect in the cabin (how things work- for example the wood stove) and many other helpful tips, including the tenant info. It wasn't mentioned in the ad but I don't feel it was needed as there was no issue at all and absolutely more than enough space !
The space was very clean with lots of extras- towels, bedding, all the kitchen supplies you need... even down to the laundry soap which i didn't expect.
Kids enjoyed all the extra toys, board games and fooseball table..
and i enjoyed the soaker tub !
Although it was an extremely hot 35+ degrees during our stay, it was cooler on the mountain and the ceiling fan kept it cool.
The drive to Penticton was as described only 30 minutes down the mountain. Just be aware that it is a bit of a tedious drive with lots of sharp turns, we didn't arrive until after dark and i felt like it was straight out of a horror movie driving up ! *NOTE.. drive up in daylight LOL and pull off to let traffic pass :)
** lots of wildlife sightings on the drive as well, deer, coyotes and a mama bear and her cubs :)
I would definitely recommend the Whitetail Lodge and cant wait to book again in the future.

Overall the trip to Apex was great! And for a group of all younger adults this is a beautiful and affordable option.
However, there is tenant suite attached (separate entrance). This information was not listed at the time of our booking (I believe this has since been updated). Quite a lot of noise transfers between the the tenant suite and this unit including tv noise. This was especially problematic as the tenant was up quite early (~530 - 630 am) during the week to commute to Keremeos. It disrupted my mother's sleep multiple mornings who was in a downstairs bedroom.
Additionally, the access to the ski-in ski-out trail is a substantial and steep walk. This was not a problem for the 30 year old's, but the 60 year old's with us decided to drive to the hill each morning.
For a group made of entirely 30 year old's ready to get up for first chair and then relax with a glass of wine in the beautiful main room, this place is great! For our mixed crowd, it was less ideal.
