Hosts were really welcoming. Breakfasts all freshly cooked and excellent. Rooms large and well-facilitated. Old and quirky with lots of interesting features.
The property is near to the extremely busy A1M. The junction onto the road is hazardous and I opted to leave and approach the property from the east via country lanes instead.

Room facing A1 very noisy

A very big spacious room. Id stay again for sure.
Nothing at all. Price point and room were good.

Good sized room
Unfortunately I found the mattress too hard in the main bed and the sheets were stained. The road noise was significant but that wasn't unexpected as it was very close to the a1 however the widow wouldn't shut which would have helped

"Ideal location for Grimsthorpe Castle which is a 15 minute drive down country lane. Room was huge and bed was super comfy. Loads of parking and literally right next to the A1. Highly recommended"
