Great experience staying at Sapphire beach for my second time! The pool and the ocean being right in front of you is perfect for beach lovers and pool side dwellers alike! Lots of amenities close by. Only negative would be is the roasters crowing at 4:00 am but it does become kind of comical. Hope to visit sometime again soon!

I believe we had one of the best condo units in the building. Beach was great. Saw 2 Sea turtles swimming. Lots of good variety of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely recommend this condo building to anyone looking about vacationing in Barbados. I hope to be back.

This condo is in an excellent location. There are multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance. From the bottom floor bedroom, you walk directly out to the pool. From the top floor, you have a beautiful view of the ocean directly in front of you from the balcony. The condo is extremely clean and has everything you could possibly need in kitchen utensils and appliances. There are several taxis close by willing to take you anywhere on the island. We did the Mount Gay Rum tour, and a tour of the island. It is a beautiful country and very safe. The property manager checked in with us twice during the week to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would highly recommend this condo for two couples, or a family of four.

We just stayed a month at Amika and had a most enjoyable stay. The property is amazing and a great home away from home, located next to the pool and right on Dover Beach. For those travelling to Barbados, this is where to stay!

Mike and Andrea were always very responsive. The property is well Maintained, and has all the conveniences you need while on vacation. The location is perfect for families and couples. The beach is superb. Keisha too good care of us during our stay. Thinking of returning next year with our adult kids :-)

We’re just enjoying our last morning on the balcony before we leave and it’s been joyous! The apartment is stunning. Two lovely big, comfy bedrooms with en-suite, a much used laundry room and a great living space. The kitchen is very well equipped and we’ve spent many lazy lunches on the balcony and fun evenings playing the games provided after we’ve been out for dinner. I can’t say enough positive things about this place….. we will be back!

We spent 4 wonderful nights at Sapphire and enjoyed every moment of the experience. The condo is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and all amenities have been thoughtfully included. The beach is steps away and the pools are warm and inviting. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance and you have safe, free parking if you rent a car. Overall, this was a perfect getaway and we will be returning.

Good communication before arrival and no snags during our stay. I highly recommend this property for a wonderful stay at the beach in Barbados.

We have visited Barbados numerous times throughout the years, mostly staying in All inclusive hotels. I think our all inclusive days are over, we had such a wonderful time staying at Ammika! The cleanliness, the view, the beach.. ( best beach in BGI!!) the list is endless. Mike & Andrea were fantastic from the first time I contacted them. Keisha was also fabulous always there if & when we needed her. Excellent property perfect for two couples, plenty of space and really good outdoor areas. Pool area is very nice and direct access to a lovely beach. Location is ideal with variety of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Mike & Andrea were helpful and considerate from the moment of booking as was Keisha (property manager). Would stay here again and definitely recommend to others.

Sapphire Beach apartments offers the best location, facilities and proximity to everything you could want to enjoy your stay in Barbados. Angela and Mike are the perfect hosts - super responsive, friendly and understanding and their apartment is perfectly placed in the block. We been to Barbados on several family holidays and keep returning to this slice of paradise. Can’t recommend it more highly. You won’t be disappointed!

Location is the best ever, easy walking to restaurants & bars, right on the ocean, two pools outside your patio door. Condo itself is very comfortable and clean, with a patio living space that is breath taking. The staff and other visitors/owners are the friendliest people you could ever meet. We’ll be back!

The owners communicate very well and thoughtfully provide a welcome supply of fruit, beer, milk, tea and coffee. There are two small convenience stores within five minutes and two supermarkets about 20 minutes away by foot. Taxis are readily available throughout the area. The beach is one of the best on the island — soft sand, no broken shells or coral and gentle surf. Best location we have stayed in Barbados! The condo was pristine and quiet. We stayed with our two adult children and their spouses and had plenty of room and privacy. We spent lots of time between the pool and the beach, and a perfect location to walk in the Gap at our leisure. Great restaurants and nightlife just nearby yet the condo and property were so tranquil. This condo is perfect in every way, the staff so helpful and friendly. Restaurants were plentiful and surprisingly modestly priced. We highly recommend Ammikka!!

All tile floors tend to get dirty I imagine. The gym equipment needs upgrading. The pool was directly outside our unit so a quick dip would be good for those who like a pool. We used it twice during our stay. What we like most is the beach is at our door steps. The Gap has many good restaurants and street vendors for meals. Played a lot of golf. We have stayed at the Sapphire on 5 other occasions and this 2 bedroom unit fit our needs both price and size. Our property manager Kiesha was there at a momemts notice and took care of amy issue immediatley. Only had 2 and the were handled. Thank you Andrea and Mike. We look forward to our stay next year!

We would like to thank you for the lovely beach front condo. It was everything the pictures showed. We enjoyed being in the heart of The Gap and the beach and ocean were the best we have seen. The condo was just as pictured and more. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the items you would want. The condo is just steps from one of the pools, the grounds were beautiful as well. The condo is a gated complex so we always felt safe during our stay. Andrea and Mike were a pleasure do deal with and provided answers to all of our questions. We hope to return again and would definitely recommend this unit and will stay here again.

Fantastic condo; - stylish, modern, extremely well furnished, clean and very comfortable. Direct access to the two pools and a gate right on to one of the best beaches in Barbados. We certainly tried out many of the suggested restaurants in "the Gap" from fine dining to Rude Boyz Jamaican jerk kitchen which we really enjoyed. This is our second visit to your condo "Amikka" and it will definitely not be our last. Many thanks Mike and Andrea for making our vacation extremely memorable - we will be back; - guaranteed !!

Our recent stay here was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are large and have a lot of useful storage space. The kitchen is well equipped and very welcoming with the groceries provided. The location is perfect with just a short walk to a number of really nice restaurants and bars. Even better, it takes a whole 15 seconds to reach the beach from the apartment! The beach is beautiful and there are a few choices for drinks/food within a minutes walk. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment, it felt like home for the week and added to our wonderful holiday.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday at this apartment - wow, what a place! Our check in was smooth and really simple, and the arrival grocery pack was a really nice touch! The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and in a location that is second to none. The beach is just a few steps from the door, and the restaurants and bars of St Lawrence Gap are just a short stroll away. We loved the detail that has been put into the fixtures and fittings, with absolutely everything you could need available in the apartment. The beds are HUGE and so comfortable, the kitchen is really well equipped too. We made good use of the ice maker for our rum punch - perfect for sipping while watching the sunset off the balcony! The local area is great - we had lunch on the beach most days at Johnny Cools, and spent most evenings trying out various cocktail bars and restaurants in the Gap itself. We did not hire a car as we didn't need to, the bus service runs from the end of the gap and there are always taxis available too outside so we were able to get around easily. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment - it's super!

Arriving into Dover Beach, Barbados, we couldn't have been happier with our first impressions! We were greeted at our stunning apartment, given a tour of the complex and blown away by the surroundings, view and spectacular setup. The pool and beach couldn't have been any closer! The property is incredibly well maintained with everything you could need for your stay. We particularly loved enjoying the balcony in the evening watching the sun go down, whilst playing the board games provided. The rooms are incredibly spacious, light and airy, and the beds are dreamy - so comfortable and BIG! The apartment is located in a lovely, unspoilt area of the island with plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from - I'd recommend Dover Beach and the Sapphire Beach apartments in a heartbeat to friends and family alike. This is a very very high quality apartment. The location is fabulous. The view from the balcony is amazing. The patio doors in the main bedroom open out onto a large pool. The wonderful beach and the warm waters of the Caribbean are just steps away. What's not to like? The apartment is beautiful finished to a high standard. The furnishings are high quality. Everything has been thought of. Plenty of towels. Good quality bed linen. Very comfortable beds. The maid comes in twice a week to clean, change the towels and bed linen. St Lawrence Gap is a pleasant 10 minute stroll away with excellent restaurants and great places for a drink. We highly recommend Primo and Harlequin. Sharkey's gives everyone a warm welcome and is an excellent place for a beer or a cocktail. They make a good breakfast as well. Staying at this apartment has all of the advantages of being in a great hotel, but with privacy. The owners are very helpful and everything was easy. You'll be greeted on arrival by the agent. No fuss, no stress. It was our second visit. It won't be our last!

We have just come back from the most superb week in Barbados...where do I even start! Mike & Andrea looked after our every need from our first initial enquiry right through to answering our final questions in the days before we flew. The guide to Amikka has been thoughtfully put together and contains everything you might ever need to know. The property itself is even better than the pictures, it's clean, modern, well-equipped and the location couldn't be better! We've never stayed somewhere so close to such an idyllic beach and with the pool just outside the door, it was the perfect place to cool off after a day in the Caribbean sun. We particularly enjoyed hiring a jeep for a few days and touring the island where we met the friendly locals and experienced the Bajan culture. St Lawrence Gap is a short ten minute walk away and is filled with delicious restaurants of different cuisines; we also absolutely loved a Friday night at Oistens, where we listened to live music and ate fantastic, fresh, grilled fish. A catamaran cruise around the island topped everything off, swimming with the turtles was an unforgettable experience and is a must do when in Barbados. We felt really looked after throughout our whole stay, Keisha was always just a phone call away and Primrose ensured the place was spotless! We couldn't recommend this place more... perfect weather, accommodation and culture, thank you Mike & Andrea for a superb holiday, we hope to be back very soon! Max & Lizzie
