Rome: spend your holiday in a Liberty villa with garden, in the heart of Rome
Questo villino in stile Liberty è stato edificato nei primi anni del 1900, si trova in una piccola via silenziosa piena di verde ed è circondato da un bel giardino con alberi di arancio e mandarino. Acquistato dalla nostra famiglia nei primi anni del 2000, è stato completamente ristrutturato nel 2018 rispettando i canoni architettonici dell’epoca, ma usando tutta la tecnologia di oggi. Il villino si compone di tre piani. Quello che vi proponiamo qui è l'appartamento padronale. Nell'appartamento padronale (che occupa il primo e secondo piano), al primo piano, si trovano: un ingresso, una camera da letto matrimoniale, un grande salone di rappresentanza con tv satellitare al plasma, sala da pranzo e salotto, un bagno, una grande cucina abitabile dotata di forno elettrico, frigorifero a doppia porta con tritaghiaccio, dispensa, lavanderia.
Al piano superiore si trovano: la camera da letto padronale con letto matrimoniale "king size" e poltrona/letto singola. Una camera matrimoniale con bagno sauna e doccia per due persone, un grande bagno con doppio lavabo, una terza camera con letto matrimoniale e con anche un divano letto per due persone e un bagno con doccia. Aria condizionata in tutti gli ambienti, internet wireless connection.
Al piano seminterrato c'è una dependance indipendente (anch'essa con aria condizionata e connessione internet) composta da: una camera da letto matrimoniale con bagno indoor, una camera per quattro persone con letto francese e letto a castello, anch'essa con bagno, un soggiorno con divanoletto matrimoniale e una cucina indipendente completamente accessoriata.
Lettino per bambini con le sponde e seggiolone disponibili gratuitamente su richiesta. A completamento di questa bellissima villa una serie di ambienti esterni attrezzati: un bel giardino con gazebo, tavolo e poltrone, e una terrazza nel verde con zona salotto e zona pranzo.
Su richiesta e secondo disponibilità, sono presenti due posti auto (cancello con chiusura automatica).
Extra fees:
Su richiesta è possibile usufruire di un letto singolo aggiuntivo (cm.90 x 190), il costo è di 40 euro al giorno.
Per l'uso dell'aria condizionata (quando necessario) chiediamo un contributo di 25 euro al giorno.
Per arrivi fuori dal normale orario di lavoro (dopo le 19,00) sono richiesti 30 euro per il check-in, se arriverete dopo la mezzanotte il contributo richiesto diventa di 45 euro.
E’ possibile avere un posto auto (all’interno del cortile) con un contributo di 7 euro al giorno (i posti sono limitati, non garantiti, quindi, nel caso, affrettatevi a farne richiesta)
Su richiesta, possiamo fornire un lettino con le sponde (per bambini sotto i tre anni di età), gratuitamente.
Il prezzo comprende: riscaldamento centralizzato, consumi elettrici, check-in.

Our stay at the Villa Michelangelo, located in the Trastevere district of Rome, was remarkable! Our guests included family and friends. Four are stay will utilize the stand alone apartment and the main home. In total, we utilized five bedrooms.Both the apartment and main home were furnished with all our needs. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals at the home. The furniture was exceptional in all areas. The outdoor spaces were absolutely amazing. When at the house, we spent much of our time in the private outdoor area off of the kitchen. The space was beautiful and extremely comfortable.The communication with Danila throughout our stay was very easy. The restaurants and shops in the area made life easy - with daily walks to caffès for coffee in the morning, lunch and dinner. Max, the owner of L'Angolo del Caffe, is very nice. We went to his Caffe every morning for cappuccinos & croissants. Another worth noting is Cafe Corrientes, owned by Silvia & her husband, was AMAZING!The walk to Janiculum Hill was an easy 25 minutes, providing an exceptional view of Rome. The walk to the shopping and dining districts of Trastevere was also fairly easy, and about 25 minutes as well. Traveling to the heart of Rome was also simple utilizing taxis or Uber. Without a doubt, this home provided us with exactly what we anticipated based on the VRBO narrative and photos. We could not have been more pleased with the communication, home, and our stay.

Having never been to Rome and coordinating a family/friend reunion with others coming from all over the world, this was a great place to stay and the pictures were accurate to the house (for the most part). A lot of natural light and windows, which was very pretty and nice to wake up to the birds in the morning or sit on the back patio to drink your coffee. One thing that caught us by surprise is that the attached apartment, while attached to the main villa, is an entirely different entrance and living area. If you are staying in a large group and want to all be together under one roof, I would not recommend renting the apartment. We also found the apartment to be very dark. Lastly, important to know that in the main villa there is only 1 private shower and then 1 shower that connects to 2 rooms (visible to both rooms- although there is a curtain that tries to give privacy). With such a large group, the 1 private shower was challenging especially morning and evening as we were getting ready for the day or getting ready for bed.
The owner and the assistants are all very nice and accommodating and are willing to answer questions throughout the entire stay, offering recommendations and suggestions! Very cute neighbourhood area with walkable grocery and cafes, which were great! Taxis can be difficult to book and given that we were a group of 12, we found that a little more challenging than we had anticipated. Plan for about a 30 minute ride into central Rome.

The house was amazing and so close to everything - just a short bus ride to almost anything! We stayed June 23 -27 and enjoyed the home, neighborhood and all the great local cafe's and bars. We were a party of 10 and we really needed the downstairs apartment. Make sure you ask about it because I had to wire and extra $600 to the owner for use of the apartment and air conditioning-which was needed due to 90 degree temps. Also, was asked to pay and additional $160 for a "tax", that was never made clear. I did not pay it as it was not listed on VRBO website. There are other people staying on the property which I was unaware of, but it was not a problem until the elevator went down and all of a sudden two people were walking through the home to exit the villa! All and all a great stay!

June 18 through the 25th 2022! The house was beautiful and comfortable for most but misleading on how comfortable 14 people can be! The way the beds are counted were not explained that one was a very uncomfortable sofa bed in a room with no air conditioner with it being 97 degrees in Rome! So those two had to go to a hotel adding to the expense of our trip! The bathrooms, hallways are not air conditioned! You have to pay for air conditioning! The thing that makes no sense for me was in a well stocked kitchen their was no microwave! I know as an american I am a little spoiled but you could have a small microwave these days very cheap! Any food left over from a restaurant can not really be brought back to reheat! I guess you could have put it in oven but that would have added more heat to the house! So renting this house overall was pleasant but do not go by the numbers the owner says it will comfortable sleep!
