In general our accommodation has been great. We have spent our holidays in a beautiful place, a good house very well equiped . Thank you Anne Marie for your attentions, all your information you sent to us has been very useful, and Frigiliana is a wonderful village, we love it

It was a lovely stay in frigiliana. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the Sun on the balcony. The Village is also very nice and the nearby Nerja. Fast answer was always given in case we had questions. Private parking space was appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay of 13 nights in Anne property. The location and view were lovely. You see the sunrise and most of the sunset. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would certainly stay there again.

Had wonderful time in Frigiliana. Stayed during 3 cultures festival which is fantastic! Property had everything we needed, including a few board and card games which we enjoyed playing in the evenings! Pool was gorgeous and it’s the view that made this apartment/trip for us! Frigiliana has a number of nice bars and restaurants but also a quick bus ride for €1.15 down to Nerja with lots of others to choose from (however 3 cultures did affect buses so be aware if heading down to Nerja also at this time of year). Can’t thank Ann enough for all the info she gave us, and both Steve and Sarah were on hand for any problems (thankfully none!) Can’t wait to visit again!

We had the most enjoyable stay. Views from the balcony were stunning. The apartment was well located at the edge of the village. Pool was quiet and clean. Throughourly enjoyed our stay here and very sad to leave

Had a wonderful time at this apartment in Frigiliana.. really enjoyed everything about it from the lovely mountain and sea views on the balcony to it's overall great location for enjoying the rest of the town and surrounding area.. will definitely stay here again.. Duncan

Frigiliana is a very picturesque village with lovely views of mountains, nerja and the sea and over the roof tops of the village itself. Lots of day visitors. We stayed for 9 nights which was a bit too long for us as not alot to do in the village but there are lots of places to eat and walk around the lovely streets and alleyways. Too much dog poo on streets though which should be addressed if it's to remain he prettiest village.

welcomed by Anne's Spanish neighbour Isobel who despite very little English showed us the ropes. On opening the front door we found a lovely clean apartment. we moved to the balcony opening the curtains finding a stunning view of the mountains and views down Nerja and the sea breathtaking. The pool area underneath the balcony was always clean as was the pool. The sun shines on the pool area nearly all day, and we were often the only ones using it .The kitchen was well equipt don't be put off by a table top oven, it was the best we have ever used good enough to do a roast. The beds were lovely to sleep in no noise from the road despite been next to it. private parking under the pool is a godsend. the living room/dinning area is large with plenty of room. we have stayed in Nerja many times but now we love Frigliana, Nerja is such a pain /expensive to park if staying full time. we did visit Nerja during the day and at night and is still a great place to visit not loud but has a good buzz in the old town and Balcon area. we visited Malaga and the large market at Almunecar on Friday. found the food shops in Frigiliana very reasonable and the fresh bread and cakes wonderful. we stayed during the three cultures festival which we enjoyed all the stalls all over the village with a big tapas trail. The closing fireworks and laser show were spectacular (you tube) it was busy but made for a great atmosphere. we very much enjoyed our time at this apartment and would definitely stay again. Anne was always prompt with replies and sends a lot of information. Sarah and Steve who look after it for Anne are a great team you can always get hold of them if required. Thanks for a lovely time. Wow - what amazing views from the apartment!!! We had brilliant time in Frigiliana, the property was clean and well equipped. The pool was well maintained and we had it to ourselves the vast majority of the time. Frigiliana offers a good choice of bars/restaurants within 10 minutes walk - if that is not enough there is a regular bus service to Nerja (€1) and a late night taxi back cost only €12. We visited many local beaches - our favourite was Playa Vilches (west of Nerja); went sea kayaking from Burrisna to Maro; visited the spectacular Alhambra; and completed the Rio Chillar walk. Communication with Anne before, during and after our stay was efficient and the welcome pack was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend!

We loved the apartment, loved the view, loved the village, loved the local people. We fell in love with whe whole experience.

The property was easy to find with secure parking. It had everything we needed in it. Amazing views and lovely local restaurants

Great location. Comfortable Bathroom could do with a revamp! Well equipped kitchen although cutlery a little overdue for replacement! Would use this property again in spring or autumn. Will get very hot in the summer though as in full sun from dawn to late afternoon. We found temperatures very comfortable at around 20 degrees in feb.

This apartment offers a good base for exploring the local area. Lots of good walks available from the apartment & well placed for restaurants & bars. Local bus service to Nerja costs 1Euro per journey, so it is possible to walk to Nerja & get the bus back. Apartment is well equipped & very comfortable. Balcony is good to sit out on in the morning up until lunch time at this time of year, when the sun moves over to the West.

A really lovely week in a very comfortable apartment with everything that is needed home from home. The owners provided loads of useful information on the apartment and surrounding areas, smoothing our way to a relaxing holiday. The views from the apartment into the hills and down to the coast are spectacular, and it is ideally located for easy access by car from the main roads, and then by foot to the rest of Frigiliana. A little gem.

What a lovely apartment, a great location, very clean and with everything we could possibly need . The village is beautiful with lots of good restaurants and shops, the beach is only a short drive away And the apartment is a great base for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend this holiday

We absolutely loved this apartment. We are a couple with a baby and it was just the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. The best part though had to be the view. Many early mornings were spent watching the sunrise and sitting out at night with a glass of wine was so relaxing. The balcony gets the sun for most of the day too which is ideal. The apartment was clean, bright and modern. We found the owners to be very helpful and the people who look after the property were great. We will definitely be back!

The village of Frigiliana is beautiful, enough restaurants to keep us entertained for a week and enough beautiful countryside within walking distance, The apartment perfectly suited our needs it is well laid out, very clean and the views from the balcony are perfect for breakfast with the sunrise. Walls are a little thin, however I think this could be said about any Spainish apartment block. Could recommend highly enough, great service from the owner (at home) and agents (in Spain). Cant wait to come back!

This has to be one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had, the apartment is absolutely perfect with a stunning view over the mountains and the sea. The owner is very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. Local restaurants and bars are all friendly and reasonably priced, we will define toy go back to this apartment again. We have fallen in love with Frigiliana! The apartment provided everything we could wish for in a place to stay and a base from which to explore the surrounding area. It was scrupulously clean, very well equipped and so convenient for the village and Nerja. The view from the balcony is worth the cost of the booking by itself. The abundance of great restaurants within walking distance meant we rarely used the kitchen although it contained everything necessary for eating in. The local people were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The beach at Maro is idyllic although you need to be unafraid of climbing hills. The beach restaurant specialises in fish and their paella has to be tasted to be believed. The caves of Nerja are a must to visit and cool on a hot day but don't drive there, get the road train from the museo in town for the full experience. All taken together, this was a holiday we enjoyed so much that we recommended it to my son and he has already booked to take his family there in the autumn. As for us, we can't wait to return.

This apartment was perfect. It was exactly as listed, clean, welcoming, warm and provided with everything we needed. The view of the mountains from the balcony and living room was stunning, the bed was comfortable and we were not disturbed by any noise when we were there. Anne's communications and information were friendly and extremely comprehensive and useful and Steve was accommodating and helpful on our arrival. We enjoyed the walks from the doorstep (quite strenuous), shopping, eating and strolling in the lovely white village and trips to nearby Competa, Nerja and the wonderful restaurant in El Acebuchal. We would recommend this apartment to our friends and would be happy to return.

We had a lovely two weeks here in late September, the apartment has everything we needed and is clean and very well maintained by the owners, The views from the balcony up towards the mountains and down towards the sea and Nerja are absolutely stunning. Very quiet and peaceful, easy to park close to the apartment and less then a ten minute stroll into the town centre, mostly uphill but not steep at all. We were told when we booked that the pool was closed from the 1st September. Which with the great weather was a shame, it appears that the residents who do not use it, begrudge having to pay for it. There are so many restaurants to chose from in the new and old town, you will be spoiled for choice, we particularly like Las Chinas which is owned and run by the host, Sebastian (his name matches his appearance) do not be put off by nearly sitting in the road, the food and service are excellent, perhaps a little more expensive than some other places but the house Rioja is very good. You pass it as you walk towards the town centre. There are so many other nice places to try it would be impossible to list them all. However if you want to get off the beaten track, try El Acebuchal for lunch, it is a restored very old very small village with a bar...the food is excellent, but be prepared for a 5km drive along a dirt track into the back of beyond...but well worth the effort. They even put juniper berries in what can be described as an enormous gin and tonic. With our love of Ibiza, we thought we would never return to Frigiliana, but I suspect that may not be the case.
