Vila Eden Boutique Hotel

This was kind of a splurge as it overlapped with my 60th birthday. The bed was among the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The location was ideal. The folks at the hotel were kind and patient with my dogs and other peoples' dogs - a big positive in Albania, which isn't typically especially dog friendly. They were also just generally incredibly likeable folks - they went out of their way to fix the issues I described below. It would have been nice (but not necessary) if they perhaps tried a bit harder on working with me to accept the prepayment that I spent at least an hour setting up - but no one is perfect. Separate and apart, the photos don't lie - the place is gorgeous. Serene, peaceful, beautifully decorated. You will fall in love with Korce along with the hotel.

A justified the splurge in part because I assumed that a higher cost hotel would have reliable, high-speed Internet. Understandably, most folks visiting here are on vacation and not worrying about work. I was, and regretted that no one told me that internet was spotty on the top floor. I was equally unhappy about the fact that they would not honor the booking I spent a long while arranging in advance through Affirm. They wanted me to pay instead by using my credit card. Since Albania is hugely cash-focused, I planed to use Affirm as a buffer to preserve some cash and more traditional forms of credit and by all accounts it was approved and all was well - thus, it was a rude awakening at the hotel. I didn't appreciate having to shell out 600-plus dollars separately at a time when this was a concern. So I would strongly urge the hotel to be transparent about the Internet's spottiness on the top floor (and maybe throughout the hotel) and also reconsider its policy on prepayments. At a minimum, make it clear on your web site. It's not a nice surprise upon arriving at the hotel.

Perfect location and close to walk around and near centre. Breakfast was wonderful and very tasty staff very friendly and would recommend to all as im sure they will enjoy and leave satisfied. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back 😊.

I would recommend to add some biscuits tea coffee like condiments inside the rooms.

A slightly “quirky” hotel but fun, we stayed in July and truthfully this is a winter destination hotel.

Great character
