Die Aussicht auf die Elbe, den Lilienstein, den Sonnenuntergang

Direkt an der Elbe gelegen, tolle Aussicht, sehr ruhige Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Gute Anbindung mit Fähre (für Fußgänger und Radfahrer) auf die andere Seite der Elbe, dort Bahnhof in wenigen Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Fahrzeit nach Bad Schandau ca. 10 min.

Keine direkte Anreise mit dem Auto möglich, Parkplatz am Ortseingang oder am gegenüberliegenden Elbufer (kostenpflichtig). Das sollte man beim Kofferpacken bedenken.

Ruhige Lage mit genialem Ausblick. Zum Wandern und Erholen perfekt.

Kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed in that flat, including hear dryer. The view from windows to Elbe and mountains was great.

Wi-fi was available within a few hours on the first day, then it disappeared till the end of our stay. The parking lot is on the other side of river, so you have to take your necessary things from a car, use ferry and go some distance then. It was not a big issue though for us, but we would prefer to have a parking place near the hotel of course. We did not find a supermarket in Rathen, but cafes around were nice.

Nothing-everything was good.

The location was perfect, we had an incredible view of the river and it was a short walk to all of Rathen's lovely restaurants, as well as to all the sights, like the lake, the Bastei bridge, and other hiking areas. We'd love to come back again!

The couch was a little bit small, and the beds received no air flow, which could get hot at night, but overall the room was great.
