We arrived to the rental after hours and the arrangements made for entry were easy to follow. The rental itself needs a bit of updating but thoroughly enjoyable. The star of the place was that magnificent view which provided a perfect view of the sunset every night, and was also the prime play place for the dolphins. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was also very nice. There was a minor issue with the key sticking in the lock, but one call to building maintenance had it fixed and we didn't even need to be there for them to handle it. The cleaning of the toilets could have been better, but the overall cleanliness of the unit was good. We will most definitely be renting this unit again.

Condo was nice except for a few minor issues. Maintenance was able to correct several of them but others required parts to be ordered so those had to wait. One issue not related to maintenance was that fold out couch did NOT have a mattress underneath so wasn't very comfortable to sit/lay on. This is also the 2nd year in a row where the rear elevator has been out of service for our 2 week stay. It was an inconvience but not a game changer. Both the staff and maintenance staff were very helpful especially during the hurricane when we had to evacuate. We'll be back again.

We loved the fact that we could walk across the street to Johns Pass and marina. Loved the food and entertainment. The facility was nice. Definitely secure as you need the key to use the pool, beach access, stairs or elevator. You need to bring your own extra sheets for the pull out mattress as there weren't any. Plenty of blankets toilet paper and bath towels. No Keurig so bring ground coffee and filters. Overall it was very nice. The balcony was awesome with a one of a kind view of the sunset. Thank you!

Great view, and location. Located across from John’s pass with wonderful restaurants and shops, and lots to do. I’m giving this unit a 3-1/2 star because it is in need of new mattresses and a deep cleaning. We have rented from SunHost for many years and are very pleased.

The condo was clean and very spacious for two people and would be accommodating for 4 people. Great proximity to John's pass literally right across the street.
Everything, literally everything, requires a key. Getting on the elevator from the parking area requires a key. Getting to the beach and getting back from the beach requires a key because the gate requires a key on both sides. The beach was nice but much smaller than what I am used to. If it were the height of summer, you would need to claim your spot early as there isn't a lot of space.

Loved the condo complex and our unit. Amazing sunsets from our balcony. Unit does need cookie sheets and pot holders. Amazing condo! Great location across from John's Pass. Recommend jet skiing from Woodys Watersports and crab legs from R Bar restaurant. Lots of dolphin sightings. Will be back. Grounds keeper does an AWESOME job!

Great location! Across the street from the entrance to John's Pass. The view was awesome! We saw dolphins everyday. Keep in mind, to get that awesome view of the sunset, the balcony gets very hot in the afternoon. It is worth it to us, but maybe not everyone. Maybe a fan on the balcony would be nice. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a huge plus, especially with little ones. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The condo stayed cool. There were a few negatives, but nothing that would make me not stay here again. Furniture could use some updating. The sleeper sofa needs a new mattress. The kitchen is a galley kitchen and if there is another person in the kitchen, or the oven door is open, or the dishwasher is open, there is no way to pass. The blinds in the guest bedroom need to be replaced. There were several broken slats. For the size of this complex, the pool is very small, with a max capacity of 8 (there were 5 of us). There is only one parking space and no guest parking. This was not a big deal for us, but may be a consideration for some.

April 2017 Stay
Wonderful stay!!! We were very happy with condo # 413 and we would stay here again. We had plenty of space inside and out, it was clean and had the best gulf view and sunsets. The location to John's Pass was perfect for the whole family (kids ages 10 and 15).
The kitchen was well stocked, there were beach chairs and some toys in the closet, plenty of towels and extra blankets.
Tips: Paper towels, dish and laundry soap were not provided. The elevator was slow and keeping track of they keys for the elevator, pool/beach gate and condo door was a pain but we understood for security reasons.

We loved staying here.
We really loved the location of the Condo. Lots of shopping and eateries across the street. The condo was clean and very roomy. Deck was awesome and the view of the gulf was amazing! We had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff at Surf Song were friendly and helpful. We printed our boarding passes in the office and said our goodbyes. Could have used some Kleenex and paper towels in the unit but those are little things. The owners had the kitchen stocked with all other amenities. All in all a very nice place to stay!

June 2016 Stay
Very contemporary and well maintained condo! The view is fabulous - while it is a side view, you can see miles of coastline, and facing NW, you don't get the hot sun.
We really have no complaints about the unit - everything is practically brand new and worked fine. The building is older but well maintained. The elevator is extremely slow, but that's a minor deal since we only used it once or twice per day.
We unfortunately had some loud and rude neighbors below us at night, but that is not the fault of the property, just bad luck.
The staff at the office were very friendly and helpful. We were having trouble working the shower faucet, and they dispatched someone to help us promptly - it was a user error ;).
All in all, a fabulous experience, and we will definitely recommend it to others!

Awesome space and location!
My sisters and I have been having girls week in April for many years. We have stayed at several places on Madeira and Indian Rocks Beach in the past.
We all agree this is the best! The condo was very nice and very clean. Everything you need too!
It had a fabulous view and a great pool. Other guests were fun and friendly and we enjoyed connecting with several others.
The proiximity to John's Pass is just a big bonus. We took a dolphin watch trip, ate and shopped and all it required was a walk across the street. No driving.
We definitely recommend this property.

There are 4 sisters, one friend we feel is our sister, and this year a niece, We rented 2 condos and had a spectacular week! Condo was great, pool was great, weather was great....just fabulous.
