Hospitality of the owners, the room was also really clean and there was everything we needed.

A nice place to stay to explore central and eastern part of Sao Miguel. Good to have a car if you stay at this place. The hosts were super nice and offered home made bread and cakes for breakfast which is a nice touch. Also there is a nice beach nearby if you want to relax. Shared bathroom is always clean and well maintained. Shared kitchen also has all the necessary utensils to cook. Also you will have milk, butter, homemade jam provider by the host. Overall it was a pleasant stay at this place. Definitely recommend this place.

Finding parking spot in the evening is a bit tricky

Daniela was a wonderful host and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious and decorated in authentic Azores style, with an adjacent bathroom that provided all facilities, even a hairdryer. In the morning, we were offered a nice breakfast with bread, cheese, jam and a local cake. To prepare other meals, the kitchen had all the facilities you need to prepare a lunch or dinner or a cup of coffee or tea. Also, there are several good restaurants nearby that offer nice local food. We really enjoyed our stay at Green House and hope to come back.
