Grande ponte avvolgente di 30'X40 'con vista sul bellissimo Lago Mona di oltre 600 acri. 2 terrazze solarium vicino all'acqua con una piccola spiaggia in mezzo. Il grande ponte include griglia a gas, molti posti a sedere, splendidi fiori e fogliame. Marciapiede fuori al molo delle barche e buca per il fuoco per smores serali. Canoa, pedalò, kayak. Cucina moderna con tutti gli elettrodomestici. Open space con comodi posti a sedere in soggiorno e sala da pranzo con TV a grande schermo con cavo e accesso wireless. Lavatrice / asciugatrice nella zona della lavanderia. 4 materassi ad aria e biancheria da letto completa inclusi. A pochi minuti da Lakes Mall, Hoffmaster State Park con Dunes, Downtown Muskegon, Lake Express Ferry, Pere Marquette Beach / Lake Michigan, Party in the Park e Summer Celebration, Michigan Adventure ecc. Non fumare all'interno.

Quindi, tirando nel vialetto non sembra che ci sia molto da fare, ma hai due scelte che puoi andare dentro e lasciarti abbagliare da una bella cucina e zona giorno o puoi camminare intorno al lato e vedere una vista incredibile dal ponte con un sacco di posti per rilassarsi e divertirsi. Ti danno tutto, dalle forniture per la cucina (praticamente tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno) ai kayak e alle pedalò per goderti l'acqua. Non abbiamo avuto alcuna lamentela da parte dei proprietari che hanno fatto di tutto per assicurarsi che ci si prenda cura di loro.
Sto scrivendo questa recensione perché stiamo prenotando il cottage per il prossimo anno e ho capito che avevo dimenticato di farlo. Farmington, MI

We had a family of 7 and a small dog staying at property. The house had plenty of room for all of us and is well maintained. This property is has a beautiful view of the lake from inside the house & from the large deck. The house is well stocked with plenty of bath towels, beach towels, linens and kitchen appliances & tools. There are kayaks and a paddle boat to use along with life jackets. The owner is very friendly and easy to contact. We definitely recommend this properly.

Being lakefront was fantastic. There’s a very nice dock and plenty of water activities. We were short distance from grand Haven, which was our destination for a day and close to Holland, which was another day trip we had planned

Great cottage
The cottage was definitely well described on the site. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and pans for cooking and serving a large group. The dock was not in which was disappointing but we were early renters in June and that isn't always controlled by the cottage owners. They did warn us ahead of time. We would stay here again.

Very much enjoyed this cottage and the beautiful Lake Mona! The hosts were lovely and quickly responded to any questions we had. Such a bonus to have access to a paddle boat, a canoe, and two kayaks!

Location is ideal with beautiful views of Mona Lake, within a few minutes of shopping and restaurants, and within 15 minutes of the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches offered by Muskegon. Kids had a great time catching a variety of fish off the dock. Kayaks and ability to bring our family pet were bonuses. First time to the area, but had a great time and plan to be back.

Location is ideal with beautiful views of Mona Lake, within a few minutes of shopping and restaurants, and within 15 minutes of the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches offered by Muskegon. Great location for a peaceful getaway! The fully stocked cottage was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and perfect for us to unwind from city life with our friends from Wisconsin 🧀🧀. Our doggo Baby K loved the beach and we got our friend in a canoe! 🛶 Warm cozy fires at night by the water. Thank you for sharing your space with us. Our experience was priceless. Hugs to the owners!

Perfect home for our stay
Worked well for our extended family! Great room/kitchen area nice to visit in. Great spot on the Lake. Convenient Location. It was awesome too that we could take our old dog with us. The high chair was a bonus too!

The Norton Shores Lakeshore House has been our home for two June’s now. The access to the lake, the ability to have pets and The friendly and very helpful neighbors make this place an awesome place to stay..The property also comes with additional amenities such as kayaks and a paddleboard and laundry facilities and more beach towels than you will ever need.

We sat in the shade under the trees as the temperatures were in the 90's. The water had green algae at the beach and seaweed that wrapped around your ankles as you went deeper. We took a large raft out, but the current was so strong we struggled to get back to the dock. The 2 kayaks offered a nice view, but we could only go out in pairs. The paddleboat was crawling with maggots, so we didn't use it. Fleas and spiders were spotted in the house and the outside area needed to be dewebbed before use. Beautiful deck to watch sunrise and sunset, but needs to be resealed to prevent slivers.

Potential
Property and house have a lot of Potential but probably not there yet. Cleanliness was not great and the water at beach was rather dirty, probably more because of location than anything else. Had lots of fun playing games though.

Mona Lake Shore
The Mona Lake House had an incredible outdoor setting. While the house is a bit dated and in need of some maintenance and cleaning (screen doors fell off tracks and screens were torn, utility/laundry room was dirty upon arrival, yard needed weeding) it was spacious and comfortable. Best part we were able to bring our dogs who had a blast.

Very nice lakefront vacation home!
In this price range, one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at in this area. The lakefront location is awesome, and having kayaks and boats to play with on the lake was great. Kitchen and bathrooms are well-stocked, and everything you need is provided for. We’ll be back’

A great family vacation location!
This is our second year at this Mona Lake property and our extended family of six adults and three children (plus a dog) always have a great time! The access to the lake, the little beach and the large living/kitchen area are a big plus.

Wonderful home and vacation!
We spent a week at this lovely home. It was perfect and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved having the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat (so much fun)! Great location, close to many attractions (Michigan's Adventure, Holland, Lake Michigan and dune rides. Wonderful vacation!

Lovely Lake house
We had a terrific time at this lake house. The owners provided a very well stocked place, with lots of fun amenities like kayaks, canoe, paddle boat and firepit. Our dog LOVED the backyard, beach and jumping off the pier into the water. For any fisherman, this is a wonderful lake. The fish were really jumping. The actual lake house is well appointed with a fabulous outdoor space as well as main living area. Mark was wonderful to work with. This was our first lake house rental and we loved it. Thank you Mark! We also enjoyed exploring the area. Muskegon is going thru a major rejuvenation, and we were happy to support it. Grand Haven and Holland are close by as well. A lovely place to lay back and relax.

Perfect vacation spot
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at your Mona Lake home. The open concept floor plan was perfect and the kitchen had all the modern conveniences of back home. There wasn’t anything missing that you may have needed during your stay. Ample seating in the living area and gorgeous lake views could be seen by the wall to wall door walls. Loved having access to the water toys, especially the kayaks. Even the neighbors were quite friendly; one gave us some firewood for our bon fire and another gave suggestions about where to access Lake Michigan. Mona Lake is a relatively quiet lake with only a few boats or jet skis tooling around. Thanks so much for letting us rent your beautiful clean home and such a bonus to find such a great place that was pet friendly.

The home is absolutely beautiful and well cared for, it was nice not having to bring everything including the kitchen sink,
The view was stunning with the fall colors when you were looking over the lake. Very quiet place and big enough for the whole family

Nice pet friendly lake cottage
This pet friendly lake cottage is right on Mona Lake, in Norton Shores, Michigan. It was clean and comfortable, and had just about every amenity needed, plus extras not expected. Owners were very easy to work with and check out instructions were a cinch. Loved the area,- lots to do, and close to grocery stores, restaurants, Michigan's Adventure, beaches and churches. The kids appreciated use of the kayaks and paddle boat for added fun. We also enjoyed use of the fire pit to make s'mores on a couple of occasions. The only drawbacks we had to deal with were uncontrollable rainy weather, and a problem with green algae in the lake a couple of days, but overall we had a very nice time at this Mona Lakehouse rental. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely home with us!

Open living, dining and kitchen area were great for our family
We enjoyed our stay. I grew up in Grand Haven and we rent a place in the summer to have family come and go while we visit. This place was fantastic for that. A good size driveway and alright road side parking. The kitchen was great, updated with so much room and so well stocked. Plenty of towels and blankets. Wonderful outside seating and huge deck. Our family continues to talk about the accommodations of the deck. Nice to have kayaks available. The water levels were high so we had some dock issues but nothing major. Mona Lake is a lovely all sports lake and we enjoyed being able to bring our boat. We were even able to access Lake Michigan which was fun. We were concerned that the larger upstairs bedroom did not have a curtain across the window that left you exposed to the backyard but it was never really a problem. The house has air conditioning but the downstairs stays much cooler than the upstairs. We made this work by closing the downstairs vents and the fans in the upstairs bedrooms were well thought out. Overall things worked well. Lots of hot water. I would like to see the ice maker hooked up in the freezer if we come again. We had some concerns about the area being so close to Muskegon Heights but this did not present itself as more than just a concern. The home has easy access for putting your boat in as a city boat launch is literally right around the corner. Also groceries, shopping and food delivery all within close proximity. Great stay overall.

We had a beautiful week! This lake house was perfect for my grandchildren...ages 4, 3, 1, & 8 months
The house was perfect for entertaining family and friends. The outdoor decks looked out onto the lake for beautiful views. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake...seeing a eagle in flight! My grandkids enjoyed the small beach area...and building sand castles! The inside was clean and well kept. The open living, kitchen, and dining areas were perfect for the three families we had here for the week! It was a lovely week and I would definitely stay again!

Great for family gatherings
The house and lake were absolutely perfect for my extended family gathering. Lots of room on the main floor with it's open concept made it very easy to hear all of the stories being shared while cooking and/or cleaning after meals so no one felt left out.
