Il fiume Murray è a 10 minuti di distanza per le attività acquatiche o semplicemente passeggiare attraverso la splendida Riserva di Lane Poole.
Siamo a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria dove è possibile salire a bordo del treno per Etmilyn durante il giorno e vedrai la foresta da un treno a vapore (nei mesi invernali) o da un vagone merci aperto convertito a motore diesel con posti a sedere del tram.
Il sabato sera, le carrozze ristorante escono dove si può avere un'esperienza culinaria dai tempi passati. Le grandi finestre panoramiche offrono una vista stranamente bella della foresta illuminata dalle luci strategicamente posizionate del treno.

if you are looking for a comfortable, old world relaxing place to stay this should be your choice. Trees all around, birds, comfy beds, lounges everywhere to "lounge on" . Plus rocking chair on the front verandah and another lounge.! Back verandah, again with comfy old leather lounges, bbq, bird bath. hammock. good quality crockery and cutlery and appliances that enyone would need. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely be going again. So pleased we found this accommodation

Great cottage with comfy beds, wood fire, BBQ, excellent internet who could ask for more. Short walk to town, great food at the pub. And mountain bike tracks across the road. We absolutely loved our week here.

Oml the journey there through the hills and forest alone was just beautiful! reminded us of home nz. Loved the train rides, parks & all the local eat outs.

Husby had it blazing early am & pm every day. its winter and she was cold! Some wood is supplied by the owner, when we ran out we brought more from the petrol station. Loved that fire👌👌 Was happy to know there was a dryer because i didnt see one on the amenities. Might wanna take extra toilet paper and Towels. Kitchen has everything a master chef needs except the food😉. Really does feel like your in a forest even though there are homes all around you. Still very private and safe. I could write a whole novel about all the good things mill tree has to offer for yous but its origin night! So just Book it & enjoy.

3 glorious nights spent in this cosy cottage. The perfect place to relax by the fire and do a puzzle and watch movies. Comfortable beds with electric blankets. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and homely. Dianne was very easy to communicate with throughout the booking process. Will definitely be back although next time we'd come when the weather is a little warmer so that we can utilise the beautiful back yard and enjoy some walks in the national park.

We loved that the home so close to the town of Dwellingup, although you felt as though you are camping all alone in the forest.
Every need was catered for at the home and the outside barbecue and firepit area was exceptional.
We really enjoyed our week at Milltree Cottage and we will certainly be back. Thanks

It was a fantastic weekend. The place was beyond what we had expected. beautiful accommodation. the outside is just perfect for relaxing. My sisters and I live all over the State and dont catch up often. but we will be back again next year for another weekend. Thank you.

Will stay again for sure. This home is beautiful, comfortable and has everything we needed. Games, DVDs, kitchen was completely kitted out. Bed were comfy one was firm another was soft so we swapped around to get our perfect nights rest. Garden is just beautiful and location is perfect.
Only one thing to note which wasn't a deal breaker at all just good to know for the future. There is no WIFI lol since we are with Vodafone we got no reception but one member of our party was on Telstra so got all the perks. :)
Will.come back with family a girls weekend soon.

Family had a great experience. The location and house was beautiful. Well equipped with all amenities. Place was clean and welcoming. Dianne was prompt with her reply and all communication. Milltree Cottage was lovely. Everything we needed except that linen was listed as provided but in our last minute instructions we were told to bring our own sheets and towels. This was a bit disappointing as it put the work of making beds and laundering on us.

Dianne has so many thoughtful touches in this property, that make it so easy to stay here! Wood for the fire, mats everywhere to reduce dirt on shoes inside, impeccably clean, stocked with everything a family would need on holiday. Ample kitchen facilities and bedding, warm and comfy beds, the list goes on! Short walk to town and bike tracks, short drive to the stunning Murray River.. Nothing to fault here, thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊❤️

Everything was perfect. The cottage was so neat and tidy and clean and homely, with everything we needed, plus more. Very close to the main strip, but felt like we were in the middle of the forest, with all the beautiful trees out the back. A really warm indoor fire box topped it off - looking forward to staying there again one day soon.
