Se desideri noleggiare una bicicletta contatta Lopez Bicycle Works - credo che incontrino i traghetti, che prendano le biciclette sul traghetto e ti facciano attendere al tuo arrivo. È a circa 11 miglia in bicicletta dal traghetto a casa nostra. Lopez è una grande isola da visitare in bicicletta, ha poche colline, splendide viste, oltre a due grandi parchi statali (Odlin e Spencer Spit) che hanno meravigliose spiagge sabbiose. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Appreciated responsiveness of host when there was an issue with the downstairs heat throwing a breaker. Wifi was easy to connect to although outside connection seemed a bit spotty at times. View is phenomenal. House is very private.

We have stayed at various homes on Lopez Island, but Nola's place is our favorite. Highly recommend it.

Nice views and a great location, but the cleanliness was questionable. Dishes were not clean and cabinets were sticky. The biggest problem was the strong odor in the basement level. We opened up the windows and tried to air it out, but only had limited success. It made sleeping difficult and all of our clothing absorbed the odor. At time it just smelled musty, and other time it smelled of urine.

The house was clean and in great shape with an incredible view. The property is private and has plenty of space for outdoor activities. The home is in a good location, close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to remain private. Very happy with our stay and would love to stay there again.

This house and the entire property is so beautiful! It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The view was absolutely wonderful too. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time exploring Lopez Island. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future. The homeowner (Nola) has done an excellent job making her house an ideal place to stay for one's vacation!

We loved this property! Big beautiful house! Close to everything but set back on a large lot with plenty of privacy. Very spacious. We loved sitting on the large deck for meals, watching the wildlife on the property, and watching the ferries go by. Had great communication with the owner. Will be back for sure!

This property is everything advertised and the photos are accurate. Plenty of bedrooms and big beds. It is very well stocked with kitchenware and outdoor grills which is important because there are not a lot of dining options on the island.
Unlike some short term rentals with lightweight budget furnishings, the furniture is substantial and comfortable. The view of the bay is great and we enjoyed walking out on the peninsula and renting bikes from Village Cycles. We bought pellets for the Traeger grill at Lowe’s on the mainland and our brisket turned out great!
The host was very responsive and we would definitely recommend her place.

Our stay on Lopez Island at Nola's house exceeded every expectation that we had. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely incredible. We could have just stayed on the deck the whole time and been perfectly content. It was easy to find. The beds were comfortable as was all the other furnishings. When we come back to the San Juan Islands, we will definitely try to stay here. Thank you for providing an amazing home base for our family vacation!

My mom, sisters and I had a great getaway! This was our inaugural Girls Trip…No husbands, no kids…drank wine, watched movies, played Yahtzee and enjoyed each other’s company! We laughed, cried and just relaxed all weekend. It was the perfect stay. We all would love to do it again!

This was a great property for our family vacation. Beautiful views, nice yard for playing soccer etc., deer in the field and eagles in the trees with a wonderful view of the water. On a private road so very quiet and no traffic. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed this house where we could all get together.

We all had such a wonderful time exploring Lopez Island driving, biking, and hiking to some really fun beaches. The little ones up to the oldest enjoyed being outside as much as possible, playing basketball, washers, sitting by the fire pit, badminton, and running around just having fun and enjoying the incredible scenery all day and especially the evening watching the sunset. There was so much to do…….the TV was never mentioned! Nola was very attentive to anything we asked. All in all it was a great vacation that all 12 of us enjoyed

This was our second visit to this nice home. My only criticism is the bed in the upstairs bedroom. It could use a new mattress! Everything else was just super!

Beautifully appointed home on Lopez
We had a wonderful stay at Nora’s beautiful home. It has everything you need plus more. The view and deck are perfect for a relaxing vacation. I have been coming to Lopez for over 40 years as we have family that live here. I will stay here again when we come back. It’s close to the Marina and village. Thank you for a excellent stay…only problem is it wasn’t long enough!!

There is some smell when we get in the house and the furnitures are little old but the view is nice. We kept and door and windows open to get in some fresh air.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but since the house sleeps 12, we wondered why only about 2.5 of us could take a hot shower??? Cleaning service needs to give attention to the bugs and dirt under and behind couches. In spite of these few negative things, we did enjoy our stay. The view from the living room overlooking the bay is spectacular! It is a peaceful and cozy get away.

The power came back on at midnight - a good thing as it was quite cold in early March. The next morning we were able to appreciate the beautiful scenery surrounding the home, the eagles, the view of the water in the distance. My husband hiked to the spit which we could see from the house. The home itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed.

My wife and I enjoyed our first time visiting Lopez Island and the greater San Juans. The view is even more breathtaking than can be shared in photos. The house itself is quite dated, but charming in a weekend at grandma’s type atmosphere . The house was clean and quite large, although we only used the upper floor as it was only the two of us. If you stay here, make sure and read the book the owner has left on the side table in the living room. It provides a history of the property and the family who settled in the area. I really enjoyed learning of how and why people settled there, and the interesting anecdotes of life on the island in the early 20th century.
