Palmer Point - The Study
Questa accogliente cabina Adirondack ha tutto ciò che ti serve per goderti le vacanze estive o invernali. Lo studio è una cabina di nuova costruzione sul Quarto Lago negli Adirondacks a Palmer Point. La cabina da 5 posti letto comprende un soppalco e una camera da letto, un ampio terrazzo privato, una lavatrice / asciugatrice e una lavastoviglie.
La cabina è situata in posizione ideale per tutte le attrazioni invernali che gli Adirondacks hanno da offrire, appena fuori dalla Route 28 che conduce a tutti i sentieri delle motoslitte di Old Forge. C'è un sacco di spazio per racchette da neve o sci di fondo e si trova a breve distanza dai ristoranti e le città di Inlet e Old Forge. Quando la giornata è finita, rilassati e goditi la TV a schermo piatto.

This is a nicely updated and charming cottage with a very comfortable queen bed upstairs. We did not utilize the bunk room on the first floor. A short walk down a shared driveway leads to a fire pit for renters of cottages on the property, as well as a small beach with dock. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and star gazing to the sound of loons! A very convenient location between Old Forge and Inlet.

The cottage was cosy however, the grounds were in need of maintenance. When we had operational issues with the heater and TV, we were unable to contact anyone, although I left voice messages.
On Saturday I stopped at the Rocky Point Properties Office which manages Palmer Point. After I left a written message since although the door was open, there was no one there, and spoke to a person who was delivering firewood who sent Scott, the property manager, a text message to call me, that I finally got a text from Scott. He was very kind, gave me some info on how to operate the heat and TV and when that didn't help, sent his father to help. His dad was also very kind, showed me how things worked, brought fresh batteries, and even helped my son, who is autistic, put a model car together!
A critique would be that the deposit charged in
case of damages takes 2 weeks to be refunded and when it is the money isn't refunded to the card used but a check is sent in the mail.
