It was very nice & clean, plenty of amenities, quiet neighbor. It was close to Mass Street. Communication was great with Carrie, we would stay again.

Was a good place for just an overnight stay. When we booked, we thought it slept 7 because that's what the listing said. We later found out it only slept 5, so we had to leave someone home, but we worked it out. Beds were comfy and was a quiet location. Cooked breakfast in the morning. Had a lot of kitchen supplies which was nice. Might suggest another large skillet, but other than that, it was fully stocked.
Overall it was a good experience and we would book again!

Great proximity to mass street Ave the campus. Easy to navigate, enjoyed the breakfast and snack items. Only confusing thing was check out. Instructions said to text when checked out but i couldn't locate a number to text.

Nice, clean and comfortable place for our son’s KU move in! We even brought our dog. Good location and a relaxing place to come back to during a very busy weekend. Will be back!

The place was not at all what I expected from the pictures and description. It felt like it was in a bad area, the slide door barely worked (after removing the security bar), the space was dark and very small and outdated. The kitchen was barely big enough to open the fridge door and the furniture (couch, recliner, and beds were all very small and cramped). The massaging chair was child-like sized and was ripped. The fenced yard was only on 2 sides, one of which was broken/missing pieces. It was all very cramped and I was very anxious about the neighborhood. I would not have been able to let my dogs relax and walk around to use the restroom, andi would not have been able to relax and rest during my stay.

Has everything you need, easy to communicate with the host, plenty of room for the family to stay and hangout or watch tv. It was nice to have access to the electric grill outside as well.

The home was clean a great location for our needs. The home has everything you might need and then some. Host was a pleasure to deal with she responded promptly when asked any questions. If your heading to Kansas I’d highly recommend this place to stay at.

The property was comfortable, clean, and convenient. The owner was easy to work with. The Internet strength, however, wasn’t sufficient to watch TV in both the living room and bedroom at the same time and after an episode of a swat team intervention, the safety of the neighborhood is questionable, but not surprising for the area.

The house was cozy, clean, and just right from my work away from home needs. The snacks were a lovely touch. It was only a mile to my kiddo’s housing so it worked out great. The owner is very responsive. I’ve stayed in both sides of the duplex and had good stays.

We came to Lawrence to visit Kansas University. From this property we had easy access to the school, Massachusetts Ave and the state park. When the weather got cold and damp, we were very comfortable and warm inside this home. The hosts let me know the day of arrival that everything was ready for our stay. Lots of snacks were provided as part of the warm welcome. There's a great chinese noodle place within walking distance as well as a Dunkin Donuts! We really enjoyed our stay here.

I was thankful for our host. She went above and beyond in accommodating us. The booking somehow was not accurate and she came thoughtfully helped us navigate a difficult situation by allowing us to stay the night. WE WERE VERY THANKFUL. Our two dogs loved it and so did we. This is one of several times we have stayed at this place, it’s our home away from home. It has all one needs for a pleasure able stay. Place is always clean, fresh smelling, & nicely stocked. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, very close to everything Lawrence has to offer. We will definitely stay again, as all as it’s available.

From the initial booking the communication from the owners was very good. We were provided with a booking pack prior to our visit and it was very informative. We had arranged with the property managers that they could provide the airport pick up and drop off. Brilliant service at the same cost of taxis.
We were shown around the property which was very clean and cleaning products/hand washing/clothing wash tabs all provided. Lovely touch as it saves the expense of buying these. Large water also provided.
Managers are very knowledgeable about the resort and are only a text away should you need them.
Great size and configuration of bedrooms providing privacy for sharing family.
We will return to this property if in the Caleta area again. Highly recommended.

Friends of mine had their apartment flooded during Christmas break and were never notified so everything molded. Carrie was very accommodating and understanding during a very stressful time. Communication was absolutely wonderful. Facilities were very nice and cozy. I would highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a short drive to everything, and the rental is nestled quite nicely in its midst. It’s a duplex, but it still feels like a home, which is not an easy feat to accomplish. Major kudos to Carrie and Guy for that. It’s a great option for a great price with great hosts.

Everything went perfect with our stay! The property was easy to access, and close to everything we needed. The property was clean, and well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom ! We were only in town for one night, but we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others needing a spot in the Lawrence/KU area.

Check in was easy and there was plenty of room for our family of 3 visiting our son at KU. We also brought the pooch who enjoyed the yard. Property provided many amenities like shampoo, conditioner, face wash etc. making it very convenient.

This stay was a quick stopover during a long multi-day trip and was just what we needed to re-energize. Check-in was simple and we all slept extremely well. Quiet neighborhood located very near gas stations and restaurants. This home had everything you could possibly need. And I mean EVERYTHING (so much so that I had to check twice to be sure I was not in someone's living quarters). If you forget anything in your suitcase chances are you will find it here. Kids loved the snacks from the snack bowls and there was a game system they begged me to play when we arrived (PS4 maybe? Or something like that). Whatever it was they were pleasantly surprised and happy about it. Contacting the owner was very easy when I needed a few extra minutes at checkout to pack the vehicle properly for the next day of driving. Great stay.

My son is a student at KU and this is the perfect place to stay for a visit. This was my third time staying here and will be my go-to for the next few years since my son is only a sophomore.😉
It’s a comfy and cozy home that encourages relaxing.😌 It has all the basic kitchen needs to cook a meal with a bunch of extras.
