La Planque Hotel

Easy check in. Great location. Really large rooms and bedrooms.

Nothing

We stayed for 6 nights and were offered a choice between a court-yard facing room and a street-facing room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was more spacious than we expected and the mattress was sufficiently comfortable. The curtains were able to block almost all sunlight so we were not disturbed in the early hours of the morning. We occasionally heard other guests in the hallway but it was not disruptive in the most part. The bahtroom was clean and spacious. The shower was more spacious than we anticipated and the water pressure was adequate. The location was good, only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station. The surrounding areas, in about a 30-45 minute walking radius, was also fun to explore and included many boutiques and nice restaurants. I am vegetarian and my wife is vegan and we were able to find many vegan-friendly dining options in the neighbourhood. Overall, our stay was excellent and I plan to stay here again when visiting Paris in the future.

Wi-fi was sometimes difficult to connect with, but ultimately this was a minor issue.

Location is great and staff were friendly and helpful

Hotel is showing a bit of wear and tear. Our shower didn't drain, and some of the decor is worn/cracked

The employees are very helpful and made the stay great. The room was ok, the decorations and the general vibe was great. Breakfast was fresh every morning. They have an elevator and the AC worked perfectly. I enjoyed the decoration of the hotel and all the things that were in walkable proximity, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, metro...

I think they need to pay a little more attention to cleaning. The room had some spots on the wall, some stuff under the bed, I'm not sure what was it, some plastic stuff... It seemed like garbage. In the common area, the floor, the table and the chairs could use a little deeper cleanse. It is not dirty, but everything was a little sticky.
