The house was great with a perfect location

We had a very nice few days with our pup in this clean and comfortable spot. It was nicely appointed and very cozy. It was so nice to look out on the water and relax. Great area to get some good walks in, too. The extra treat was the harvest moon! We would definitely love to return.

The water just steps from the front door was beautiful and enticing. Being able to carry our kayak & SUP just across the street for some time on the water was a dream. The entire neighborhood was quiet and everyone was friendly. But it's not just the location. The apartment itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and a joy to visit. I actually did nap on the sleeping porch one day! Spent too much time with coffee in the front porch enjoying the view. Best bed in a VRBO we ever slept in. And, finally, we brought our dog. The convenience of the grassy back yard made her evening needs easy to accommodate. We plan on returning.

Beautiful View
My favorite part of the property is its gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound. It’s an older home, and still needs a little work, but the beds are super comfortable, the host is great at getting back to you and he left us a nice basket of goodies and wine. He also provides things like TP, Paper towels, sheets, bath and beach towels, coffee, detergent and more. This is so nice to not have to bring all of that when traveling with 3 kids! The small beach out front is nice for collecting shells, skipping rocks, or reading on the bench.
Overall, we had a really great stay.

Our family time at this house was great!! The space was clean, roomy and very comfortable. Close to a small beach and park, my grandchildren enjoyed it. Would stay again!! Very responsive host.

Everything you need
This property was clean and had everything you could possibly need. Kitchen had every type of equipment and more than ample dishes and glasses. There was a nice view of the shore from the front window and sunsets were amazing. The beach across the street was quiet and very natural with lots of shells and seaweed and rocks that my grandson loved to explore. The neighborhood is very family oriented and felt quite safe. The property itself is on the oldish side but nicely decorated and arranged. Parking is on a side street but we didn’t have any trouble. There is another unit upstairs and it was obvious when they were walking around in heels but all in all a quiet comfortable place to relax and enjoy the shore.

Worth the experience
Our experience with Roberts rental was fantastic. I loved the enclosed front porch. I worked there during the day and at night we sat there and watched the sunset. It was directly across from the beach which made it so easy to go back and forth to the house with our 9 month old. Our stay was also during storm Ida but Robert was so responsive to anything we needed. The location was close to everything we needed and has beautiful New England drives leading in.
I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for that perfect quiet location to relax with family or friends.

Gem on the shore
This property has everything you need. It was nice not to have to worry about beach chairs or towels. Having the backyard fully equipped was also great. The kitchen is fully stocked and the owner provided a very much appreciated welcome basket with very thoughtful treats. The owner was kind enough to check in to make sure everything was okay when a hurricane was forecast to hit during our stay. Excellent communication. I would highly recommend this property!

We recently moved to the east coast and needed a quick vacation. Fortunately, we were able to find Robert's property last minute and enjoyed a few days exploring New Haven and the adjacent areas.
Robert was always available via text or the Vrbo chat to answer any questions and the house had everything we needed. The house is close to New Haven and Robert had some great food recommendations (which we ended up trying for every meal).

The house was very clean and well thought out and has all the kitchen gadgets and utensils we would want. There is a very nice grill in the shared backyard but we spent most of our time on the front sun porch staring at the water. We had to work while we were there and found the WiFi to be much better than most. We had no problem doing multiple zoom calls at once. There was another couple staying in the apartment above us but we didn’t hear them at all and both units are completely separate and private. I highly recommend it was a great experience.

My family and I came to stay at this lovely property after having been home bound due to the pandemic for over a year.
This was our first real vacation since 2019. We enjoyed the fact that the space was spotless with comfortable spaces, a well appointed kitchen, and above all the gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound and Charles Island. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to have a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway with their family. I highly recommend this rental and will come back again!

Robert was a gracious host, and very thoughtful with his food and shopping recommendations. He also left several snacks, treats and beverages for us.
The property was spotless clean and very comfortable. We ate home a few times, so his kitchen had everything we could possibly want!
The view of the water in the morning, the BBQ in the evening, and the price made it a wonderful time!!!

The place was cozy, clean and organized. The beds are amazingly comfortable! I was on vacation but my friend had to work a bit, but was very happy with the fast internet!
We spent the days on the beach and really enjoyed the back yard for dinner and just hanging out in the evening. There is a very cool outdoor sectional and a lot of places to relax.
Also, Robert is an amazing host. He was quick with suggestions on where to shop, eat and where to go in New Haven. We ran out of propane for the grill and he delivered it within 20 minutes. He is awesome!

Point Beach Perfection
We spent a wonderful 25 days steps away from Point Beach. It was everything we needed this summer. Cool breeze at night, wonderful residents, beautiful sunsets. My wife and I are both lawyers, we were able to work each day without any problems. After work we would sit outside and watch the sunsets. The beds are ridiculously comfortable (as are the pillows). We were there during Hurricane Isaiahs and lost power for a few days but the cool breeze helped. The owner Robert was there quickly if there were any issues. We look forward to next summer.

Wonderful socially distant week at the beach
My dog, husband, friend and I stayed here for a week in July 2020. We were looking for a house on the beach in Connecticut where we wouldn't have to fight the crowds and we found it here! Rob, the owner was very responsive. Milford is a beautiful community with lots of restaurants, shopping and waterfront activities. I'd like to spend more time downtown, but due to covid, we pretty much kept to ourselves and had a wonderful week spending all day at the beach, paddleboarding, floating, enjoying beautiful low tide sunsets on the cove between Pond Point and Welches Point, and sunrises around the corner facing east. We went on a couple nice bike rides and walks. We grilled and ate in the spacious fenced backyard, had our morning coffee in the sunroom overlooking the water and evening wine on the front lawn watching the sunset over the sound. It was a luxury having a dishwasher and laundry at the beach. Beach is maintained by the neighborhood association so it's popular with the neighborhood. The beach is pretty rocky -- bring your water shoes and you'll be good to go. Nothing beats being right on the beach and not having to get up early to park, fight the crowds and schlep your stuff around.

Go for the Lovely Location
Lovely location directly on a cute CT beach. Walkable combo rocky/sandy beach, swimmable at high tide. Very nice neighborhood for walks bike rides and friendly chats with locals. Comfortable beds. Front of the house bed-space was a cozy place to sleep and wake up to the water view. Owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. We were surprised upon arrival that the rental is actually the ground floor unit of a house that has been split into 2 units. The neighbors above were very quiet and respectful but footsteps could be heard from time to time. The split house was not explicit in the listing to us. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed the week.

Luxury pricing, ordinary accommodation
The water is right across the street! That makes up for some defects in the property (peeling laminate, doors don’t close properly etc.) which generally needs some TLC. Also, it’s a shared house with a separate apartment upstairs, not clear in listing. But the Milford waterfront was great for a family ranging from 73 years to 24 months.

Small town beaching
Great house! I stayed with a few friends and we enjoyed the area. Small quiet town with a little beach across the street which was perfect. Clean house which was prepped nicely with necessities. Owners were very helpful with suggestions for the area. Really enjoyed our stay!

The house has all of the comforts of home: Terrific matresses to enjoy a good snooze after a relaxing day. Well appointed interior with lots of seating space for enjoying a good book, sharing a meal together, and taking a break from the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked for everything you can cook and includes a full-sized fridge/freezer. Take advantage of the washer/dryer to pack less clothes on the trip. Everything is clean, tidy, and in great condition.
The house is very well located: The location is across from a semi-private beach, where we spent early mornings and late evenings walking the shore, searching for crabs, and walking along the sand bars. The neighborhood is very quite and full of families so we felt very safe and welcome. The house has it's own private drive way as well as is located next to a cul-de-sac so you can park on the street as well. We visited many of the towns nearby (Millford, New Haven, etc) and enjoyed being able to get away from it all while still being near great restaurants and easy-to-reach grocery stores and shops.
The house is maintained by excellent hosts: Robert and Yolanda were terrific in providing ample suggestions for dining, shopping, places to visit, and kid-friendly things to do. Their response time was excellent throughout the whole process - from the initial booking, to the check-in-date, during our 4/5 day stay, to the check-out. They were very accomodating with our schedule and travel plans. They even had a gift-basket waiting for us that the adults and kids really enjoyed.
Overall - an excellent home, an excellent location, and excellent hosts. We were very happy staying here and look forward to the next time we can visit!

Can't say enough! House is great and was CLEAN! Our host is awesome! AND the house is set up with everything you need. Even has a Weber grill in the back yard! Came down with the grandkids and our little dog and my sister and brother in law came down - we booked for next year already and stayed an extra day. Anything you could want is minutes away but the beach is across the street! We stayed in larger side bottom level and we are so having such a wonderful time we don't want to leave! The area is so wonderful and the people are so friendly so come with a smile on your face and wave in your hand! There is nothing that the smell of the ocean and the sounds of the waves can't fix! I grew up on the No Shore of Mass but this water is so warm it is so much fun walking and the beach itself is so kid friendly. The water is not only warm but very shallow for yards and yards with small waves. Kids are having a ball. (Just bring water shoes or flip flops that can get wet as there are a few yards of rocks between the sands to navigate) And don't forget the floaties....yes! This water is so calm they paddle board! JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH!

Great house with lots of space and friendly hosts!
Rob and Yolanda were incredibly kind and available throughout my entire stay. When we arrived there was a birthday balloon and welcome basket as well as very easy instructions regarding the house. The house has the basics necessary for a comfortable vacation and is a 10 minute walk from a couple nice beaches (although we were asked to leave one due to it being private). Would recommend and/or stay again!

Perfect location near the beach
We shared the house with another couple and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with numerous appliances for whatever we needed. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds fine as well. The bathrooms were both beautiful and large.
The location was very convenient to both shopping and relaxing nearby.

Great house and great hosts
We booked this house Friday night and the hosts were able to accommodate us for a Saturday arrival. The house is fully stocked and very inviting. We live in a high rise and the large back yard and grill is exactly what we needed. We cooked every meal on the grill. It was an amazing experience. The house is walking distance to the beach, not even a 10 minute walk. They let us extend our stay late on the day of the checkout which was a huge help and very much appreciated.
We give this house and the hosts 5 stars.

Charming and comfortable!!!!!
The house was absolutely perfect for our mini family reunion. It was charming both inside and out and it comfortably slept everyone in our party. The kitchen was large and well equipped and the dining area was a great gathering place for meals and games. We all had a fabulous time and I highly recommend this wonderful home.

Booked a week in August for our family in the UK and extended family in USA. Robert and Yolanda were attentive and responsive during booking and run up to the holiday. Their home is a true gem and a home from home, set in a beautiful neighbourhood, a short 5 minute drive to central Milford for shopping and restaurants, or if you fancy it about a half hour walk! Lots to do nearby and we were lucky to have booked during the Milford oyster festival. Every detail catered for at the address including towels, beach towels, sun cream, toiletries etc. The kitchen is fully equipped allowing easy catering for 10 persons with TWO dishwashers! Robert was extremely helpful on arrival and accessible when questions arose via text or in person. I would highly recommend staying here! Damian A.

A true home away from home!
This home is absolutely amazing in every way. Robert and Yolanda made us feel so welcome in their home. The 10 minute walk to the beach felt like it was around the corner. The beach was very nice, not at all crowded. The neighborhood is very nice, a friendly feel. I cannot say enough about the house. It looks quaint from the outside but ultra modern on the inside. I cannot comment on local restaurants as our family enjoyed cooking in the chef's kitchen. We all felt so at home. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. She was able to be outside with us and not on a leash. We enjoyed playing some yard games and sitting outside reading a book. The living room is big enough for the entire family to sit comfortably. The master bedroom is like an oasis. The bathrooms are amazing. Usually by the end of the week everyone is homesick. Not this time. I did not want to leave. I highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed. My thanks to Yolanda and Robert for opening up their home to vacationers. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Clean home, great yard near the beach
Robert and Yolanda could not have been better hosts. They welcomed our family (including dogs) into their home. They left all he big things and more of the little things one could have expected. They walked us through their house to make sure we would be comfortable. They went above and beyond at every turn.
We would recommend their home to family, friends and anyone who asked. Impeccably clean, music in every room, wonderful deck, a quite backyard and 10 minute walk to the beach. In addition to the places they recommended, the Dive Bar and Off the Hook served up great seaside food. The Wine & Spirits Co had a greater collection of impossible to find beers. And with New Haven so close we enjoyed an even wider array of museums, the best pizza in New England and music.
