Appartamento con 2 camere da letto al piano terra, 6 posti letto. 1 camera matrimoniale, 1 doppia, divano letto matrimoniale nel soggiorno, aria condizionata calda e fredda in tutte le camere, accesso per sedie a rotelle e carrozzine. La terrazza può ospitare 6 persone e offre una vista mozzafiato sul Mar Menor. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con lavatrice, frigorifero e freezer, forno a microonde e macchina per il caffè. La sala dispone di TV digitale (alcuni programmi inglesi), lettore DVD (alcuni DVD inglesi forniti) e impianto stereo CD. Ci sono 2 piscine comuni entrambe con aree per bambini separate. parcheggio con ingresso sicuro. Plaza Bohemia e Zocos fanno shopping con molti bar, ristoranti e locali notturni nelle vicinanze. La Manga Club con le sue eccellenti strutture sportive 3 campi da golf, campi da tennis e accademia di calcio è a 10 minuti di auto. Per i non guidatori ci sono autobus lungo la strada per Thomas Maestre Marina e Cabo de Palos, anche per Cartagena e Murcia. Aeroporto di Murcia 40 minuti, Alicante 1 ora

El apartamento en si no está mal ( capacidad), pero deja mucho que desear el mobiliario y sobretodo los aparatos electrodomésticos, exceptuando el aire acondicionado, las persianas también están en mal , las puertas no cierran ni abren bien. En fín, hemos sobrevivido a unas vacaciones un tanto peculiares.

El apartamento estaba bastante limpio aunque la limpieza de la cocina era mejorable. En los armarios y otras partes de la casa puedes encontrar objetos que han ido dejando otros inquilinos (juguetes, productos de cosmetica, sombreros, etc). La urbanización no está bien adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida, para ir a la playa hay que subir cuestas muy pronunciadas y para acceder a la piscina hay que subir varios tramos de escaleras. En general, la relación calidad precio es buena y se trata de una buena opción para personas en buenas condiciones físicas.

Another fantastic holiday in La Manga, staying in Janet’s MonteBlanco apartment for the second year in a row (something we’ve never done before). We very quickly got into a relaxing holiday routine because of the familiarity. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very well appointed (books, games, sunbeds, inflatables, sun brolly, DVDs, a stack of sunhats, everything you could ever need in a kitchen and wonderful, WONDERFUL air con in both of the bedrooms and the living room). The area seems to be a holiday destination for Spanish families, so you’ll hear very little English being spoken around the pool or in local nightspots, but shops and restaurants have English language menus tucked away if you need them. The area feels very safe. The pools and gardens are very well maintained and the pools are never packed, so there’s pretty much always a sunbed available (pick a sprig of rosemary from the poolside shrubs for your cooking!). Both pools are equally good – only one has a baby pool – and they are open 10am – 11pm. Parking is underground and the spaces are tight, so don’t rent a big 4x4. Location-wise, you’re on top of a hill, but this means that you are away from any noise and the views are pretty good too (investigate this yourself via Google Earth if you think that hills might be a problem). It does mean that you have the uphill walk to get back home after an evening at the very nice Plaza Bohemia, but if you take the sea view path, you get the breeze and the views to keep you going. Peke Park fairground at the foot of the hill was a lot of fun yet again, especially the go-karts, trampolines and air-hockey. Janet and the local agent are very friendly and responsive (we managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment one Friday evening, but it was all resolved within half an hour and the Murcia Villas office is only 20mins away in Los Belones). We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and I am happy to recommend the apartment and the MonteBlanco complex to others – not just families, but solo travellers and couples.

Het appartement was kleiner dan verwacht, wel compleet ingericht. De eigenaresse in Engeland en de verhuurster in Spanje waren zeer behulpzaam. Omdat we zondagavond pas aankwamen zou het fijn zijn geweest als er een fles water aanwezig was, alle winkels waren gesloten. Het zwembad was prima, de tuin en de gezamenlijke ruimtes waren schoon en werden goed bijgehouden.

I'll start this review by saying that we liked the apartment/location so much that we booked for 2018 before our holiday had even finished. We're a family of 4 (kids are 11 & 6), just back from a fantastic holiday in La Manga. The apartment is well appointed and spacious. Air con in both bedrooms plus lounge was so welcome. The apartment is quite cool anyway as it's on the ground floor, but there was as lots of natural light. Noise from neighbours was minimal. Pools and communal areas were spotless and well maintained. The two pools are never crowded and there are sunbeds for residents to use. The apartment had a supply of inflatables, deck chairs, cool box which came in handy. There is a tiny provisions shop really close that sells all the essentials and large supermarkets are in Cabo De Palos. Location is excellent. 5mins to Placa Bohemia, a square filled with Spanish families of an evening. There was a night market, restaurants, ice cream parlours, shops - all really relaxed and chilled. Ten mins the other direction was Zoco (bars, restaurants, shops), slightly younger age group with fewer families, but lots of choices of places to eat and drink. The Mediterranean sea beach is 5 mins from the apartment and Mar Menor 10 mins walk. We preferred the Med beaches and Cabo De Palos beach is our favourite place. Fantastic beach in the bay by the lighthouse and wonderful restaurants, especially along the harbour front. 20 min drive or 1.15 euro each way on the number 15 bus. For those with children, Peke Park amusement park is a 5 min walk from the apartment. Kids loved the go karts and trampolines. Buy a 50euro card and you get 75pekes to spend on the rides (max fare 4 pekes). We had an excellent meal in Bamboo, the restaurant attached to Peke Park; lovely barbequed steaks. Owners are responsive to messages and the local agent dealt with a washing machine leak within 24hrs. Looking forward to our next holiday there!

The location is popular mainly with Spanish families, and the apartment is on the ground floor, so you do get to meet your neighbours. All of them were very nice, and fairly quiet. We enjoyed our time here very much and do intend to return as we have family who live nearby. We've spent a couple of years looking for a place to keep returning to and think this may be it. The location is perfect, within short walking distance of lots of amenities (and obviously the beach), but a little out of the way, so you don't have much passing trade, night-time noise etc. It is at the top of the hill, not a big hill, and not really a problem for us, but big enough to put off those who have trouble walking, but it means for a ground floor apartment you get a pretty good view of the mar menor. The apartment itself was clean, tidy, and well maintained and the air conditioning worked well. It was much bigger than we expected and we didn't feel crammed in, with a hallway, (which was handy for the pram) and a separate kitchen and living area. The high chair and travel cot we requested were set up on our arrival. We were provided with clean linen for the cot bed (which doesn't happen in the UK - not for us yet anyway!). There were 2 pools to choose from, the larger one salt-water and one smaller one chlorinated. The play area needs a complete renovation. The complex was kept immaculate, and the hall outside the door was cleaned 3 times the week we were there. We will be back.
