We booked a superior double room. The photos of the room in the confirmation email suggested a luxurious large room. Cool, light and airy with floor to ceiling windows and with doors leading to a balcony with a mountain view. Inside the photos show chairs by the bed and a separate sitting room with large comfy armchairs and a table. The room is also described as soundproofed.
However, our room was hot, dark and musty, with only one small window facing a railway bridge. No balcony, no mountain view, no comfy armchairs. Just one chair and a bistro table next to the bathroom door. As for the soundproofing, we could hear children crying throughout the hotel.
The receptionist was dismissive, unprofessional, unapologetic and simply blamed booking.com for using the wrong photos on their website. No resolution to our concerns was offered.
We did not stay and left after half an hour. We asked for a refund but we were still charged the full amount without any form of apology.
I wish I had read the numerous reviews warning of the same issues. Buyer beware!!

Für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, aber größere Autos muss man rangieren können 😉.
Im Winter recht kalt zwischen den Natursteinen 😉. Die vorhandene Heizung konnte das Zimmer nicht ausreichend aufwärmen.

La casa es muy acogedora, el personal muy amable, la habitación muy amplia y el baño muy bonito con la piedra vista en las paredes. En el desayuno nos hicieron croissants recientes muy ricos.

Alles in allem sehr dunkles Haus /Zimmer, Hausherr recht kurzangebunden (man bekommt einen ganzen Kriterienkatalog von to-dos (wo man wie parkt, wie/wann man die Tür zusperrt...)), Frühstück: fast alles als Miniportionen in Plastik: viel Müll & qualitativ sehr mässig.

La limpieza, la amabilidad del propietario, las instalaciones, el tamaño de las habitaciones y el desayuno.
Como en la mayoría de la casas rurales se nota el ruido de los demás inquilinos cuando hacen cosas tan sencillas como subir escaleras. Está situada en un pequeño pueblo que de ser visitado entre semana fuera de verano tiene pocos servicios turísticos.

Renoviertes altes Haus mit Natursteinmauern und einem gewissen Charm. Großzügiges Zimmer .Gutes Frühstück und tolle Betreuung durch den Chef des Hauses.
Pendueles ist ein uninteressantes Dorf , etwas verschlafen. Außer einem kleinen Tante Emma Laden und zwei Gaststätten gibt es nichts. Sicherlich ideal für Pilger da direkt am Camino de Santiago gelegen.

A beautifully converted house with a peaceful garden. The small village has a couple of restaurants and a small supermarket. My room was very comfortable and my dog could stay with me. I will definitely return.

A little hidden gem in a very small village. Lots of character attached to the house with old world charm. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone.

a very quaint property, close enough to A 8 to travel around the area easily but in a small village with only one restaurant . the propert included breakfast which was a necessity because of distance from everything.

Location good. Building is old and smells musty. There were cobwebs in our room and the lady at the front desk was not friendly. She was more friendly the next morning. There was only one option for dinner in the town. We did not enjoy our stay here compared to all our other stays on the Camino.
