Arroccato su un promontorio, affacciato sul Mare Interno del Lago Champlain, il cottage "Island View" è esposto a est con una vista a 180 gradi verso nord fino al Canada ea sud verso le Green Mountains. Le scale conducono ad una spiaggia di scisto con darsena privata. Bella, acqua chiara per il nuoto, pesca e nautica.

planimetria, 2 camere da letto con una regina in uno e 2 gemelli nell'altra. Complessivamente, la casetta con quattro posti letto comodamente. Ogni camera ha un ventilatore a soffitto e porte francesi che si aprono su un portico schermato di fronte al lago. Un sacco di finestre per quei brezza del lago, cucina completamente attrezzata, ampio bagno con doccia piastrelle, lavatrice / asciugatrice, acqua comunale. Bella, doccia esterna privata, wifi, Smart TV, grill all'aperto e tavolo da picnic con vista sul grande prato, giardini e area giochi per bambini. Il nostro cottage ha una stufa Rinnai per quelle fuori stagione, notti fredde.
Il cottage si trova a due miglia dal centro di North Hero, dove troverete due ottimi ristoranti e il fantastico Welcome Store di Hero's, i mercati contadini locali, le gallerie e i negozi di artigianato. Questa è la zona ideale per mountain bike, kayak e di relax. 40 minuti a Burlington e 60 minuti per Montreal e Stowe.

Il portico era il posto giusto per gustare il caffè del mattino mentre si guarda il sorgere del sole. Il cottage dispone di tutti i comfort di casa. La cucina ben attrezzata ci ha permesso di cucinare i pasti meravigliosi. Abbiamo preso lunghe passeggiate lungo la riva del lago Champlain e aveva il piacere di vedere un arcobaleno pieno. Grazie per aver condiviso questo luogo idilliaco con noi. "

Everything was as listed. Mary and John were very helpful, pleasant, and responsive hosts. The cottage itself was very comfortable and well thought-out. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was great -- two very important things to me in a rental. There's a lot to do in the area. I would recommend this cottage to just about everyone, whether you're looking for a quiet week by the lake, sight-seeing, fishing, hiking, and/or biking. Enjoy!

This little camp was a wonderful peaceful retreat on Lake Champlain! Everything you need was there- lake view- great swimming- quiet and a great screened in porch for enjoying your morning coffee and bagel😀. We look forward to coming back again!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Mary and John were the perfect hosts, very accommodating and friendly. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and had all the things you would need to feel at home. We highly recommend this vacation spot!

Simply put, Island View Cottage is just perfect! The views of Lake Champlain are wonderful, the location is quiet and peaceful, yet handy to the bike trail, the General Store and other necessities. The cottage itself is quite comfortable and well equipped. We loved sitting out on the screened porch to have our coffee or to read and relax most of all. Mary, the owner, was so very friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had. We highly recommend Island View Cottage!

We were extremely pleased with the cottage! It was exactly as pictured - even better. It was very clean and had all the amenities you could think of. We spent many hours sitting in the screened-in porch enjoying the wonderful view of both the beautiful yard and the lake. Mary and John, the owners, live next door on the same property and were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We look forward to returning someday

This is one of the nicest properties we've ever visited! Not only are Mary and John lovely and kind hosts, they have created a beautiful space that is well thought-out, clean, and comfortable. The cabin is perfect for a small family. The grounds are so pretty with easy access to the lake/dock down sturdy stairs. We kayaked and swam and saw all kinds of wildlife. Don't hesitate - this IS the spot!

The house was perfect for a family of four. They utilized all space available. It worked out great for a family of 4. We loved the screened in porches and the well landscaped yard. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved the outdoor shower!
Lake Champlain did not disappoint. We caught many different types of fish and enjoyed exploring the little islands. We also found at the gas station to the north makes homemade fudge! Thursdays is the best day to go. Overall I would recommend this cottage for anyone. Mary and John were great in helping with the litte things, and just sent the nicest messages or checked in to make sure we were good!

This is an immaculate cottage with plenty of room for 4 adults. Owners updates take full advantage of every inch of space (albeit lacking in any closet) ..extra special are the French doors in each of the 2 bedrooms with adjoining and private screened porch. Perfect location close to family staying at nearby inn. Generous host, great communication. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay :)

We absolutely loved our stay here at Island View cottage. The location was off the beaten path which we liked. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable. The property is well cared for and there are steps going down to the lake. Unfortunately, we weren't able to swim since it rained most of our stay---but this gives us an excuse to go back! Getting back to inside the cottage, we were very happy with the well appointed kitchen, the shower pressure was good and the bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable too. Mary and John, the owners are the nicest people and are very knowledgeable about the area. They live on the premises and were quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. We definitely want to come back next year!

I highly recommend this cottage. The location and lakefront setting were amazing, the hosts were beyond lovely and we couldn’t be more comfortable.

The property was beautiful--private despite being on Mary and John's property and easy to access the lake, a short drive from the town of North Hero. We spent hours down at the lake with the kids kayaking, swimming, building rock sculptures, enjoyed ice cream or a Vermont beer on the screened in porch, cooked easy dinners in the kitchen, and were able to do all the laundry we accumulated from our adventures. Mary and John were kind and welcoming and the house had board games, books (including kids' books) and everything else we needed for the handful of rainy days. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

This is a little gem in North Hero. The accommodations were excellent. It is updated, immaculate and very nicely decorated. You are provided with everything that you need for your stay except food and personal things. The beach is very clean but rocky. I would encourage wearing water shoes. The kayaks and paddleboard were so much fun! The hosts were very kind and attentive but also gave us our privacy.

This was my second visit to Island View cottage. I first visited with a friend back in Sept 2018 and never forgot how wonderful the cottage, hosts and location were. When I was looking for a place to spend time with my mom and cousins I knew this was the perfect spot. We had a great time and everything was as great as I remembered. I look forward to returning sometime in the future.

The cottage is beautifully designed for comfort and a relaxing, pleasant stay. Convenient, uncluttered, clean - very civilized! Views of the lake are lovely and grounds surrounding the cottage are charming. We can definitely recommend the island view cottage and hope to stay again ourselves.

Nothing but good things to say about our week at Island View! Cleanest property we’ve rented. Communication with Owners was great. Nice quiet area and the perfect location. We would absolutely stay here again!
