Goditi i Poconos mentre soggiorna nel nostro cottage con 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni nella comunità di Split Rock Resort. Questa casa si trova a pochi passi dal lago Harmony e dal centro di Spalato Rock, ma abbastanza lontano da tutte le attività per consentire agli ospiti di "decomprimersi" in un'atmosfera tranquilla e serena.
La casa può ospitare comodamente 8 persone in due letti matrimoniali, un letto a castello e un divano letto estraibile. Ci sono stanze separate per la vita e la famiglia, ognuna con i soffitti della cattedrale e splendidi caminetti in pietra dal pavimento al soffitto. C'è anche l'aria condizionata, una cucina abitabile e una lavanderia. Vengono forniti lenzuola, federe e asciugamani.
Se sei alla ricerca di azione, le aree sciistiche di Jack Frost e Big Boulder distano solo 10 minuti in auto o in navetta e Pocono Raceway è a meno di 15 minuti. This is our second time staying at this cottage. We stayed with our 2 little ones (1 and 2 yrs old) and they had a blast. The nearby water park is great for little kids. The big slides rarely work so wouldn’t recommend wasting money unless you ask if the slides are working (obviously this has nothing to do with the house but wanted to add it for people renting in this area). Back to the property….. It’s tucked away in the woods so it’s very quiet. The owners are super responsive and kind. If I had one negative (hence 4 out of 5 stars) it would be the cleanliness. It seems like the cleaning crew doesn’t really go above and beyond. Spider webs on all the chandeliers and in the corners, beds were made but very haphazardly and there were not enough towels for us at first glance but I happened to open the dryer and the towels were in there. Also the fireplace mantel looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Cleaning crew clearly didn’t think to empty it. Our kids have allergies which is never good when combined with a dusty house. I WOULD STILL RENT THIS OLACE WOTHOUT A DOUBT BUT WOULD JUST LIKE TO SEE IT GIVEN A REALLY DEEP CLEANING FIRST.

The cabin is spacious and comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything to accommodate your stay. You are perfectly situated close to all the amenities yet a couple blocks away for privacy. We enjoyed biking and kayaking around the lake. Also a great place for walking. Highly recommend this cabin.

The place was cozy, comfortable and just right for our family, whether it was just a couple of us, or all the kids came up. 2 living rooms and 2 fireplaces even meant that when the teenagers were up they had their own space - and it was super close to both Boulder and Jack Frost, as well as all the eating places around Lake Harmony. We had a great time this season

This cottage had just what we were looking for in a rental. It was cozy, but not too small. Rustic, but with all the modern conveniences. Nestled in the woods, but close to the action. It was the perfect place to beat the summer heat. Our hosts were very thorough when equipping this property. Updated kitchen, plenty of linens and other necessities, laundry room, (a must for our extended stay), and air conditioning for the very few days that the temperature rose. Our hosts thought of everything!! Passing by the cottage most often were lots of deer, chipmunks and even a bear. We totally enjoyed our relaxing stay at LITTLE BEAR COTTAGE!

Quiet weekend stay
The property was very quiet and worked well for our purposes of relaxing while autocrossing at Pocono. The interior has been updated and was clean and orderly. What I liked best was the cute ski-themed décor didn't overwhelm the physical space, and there was plenty of countertop and dresser-top space for our personal items. Communication with the hosts was timely and effective.

We rented this place for a weekend getaway with the family. It is super cozy and we loved the cabin feel. The outdoor patio is great as was the fire pit area. Comfy beds and plenty of blankets to keep warm during the cold months.
On a more personal note, my nephew accidentally left his iPad under the bed. The cleaning crew found it and the owner reached out to see if it was ours. I feel like there aren’t many people anymore that are that honest. It would have been easy to just take the iPad but they didn’t. I would definitely recommend this place!

This property was a great place to start to explore the Pocono area every day.
We spent most of our time at the cabin at the fire or under the porch playing games.

Fantastic find in beautiful Lake Harmony!
Modern, clean and 'bungalow' feel; brand new kitchen, safe and clean neighborhood- even a firepit outdoors for 'smores :); The owners were exceptionally accommodating as well! Highly recommend this property.

Ski trip
Property was cozy. Needs a good spring cleaning, windows, cobwebs, dust interior blinds, and vacuum sofas. Kitchen could have been cleaner. No lighter for fireplaces. Two beds were not made, we had to make them. Overall slightly disappointing.

Charming cabin with real fireplace
Amazing and cozy cabin nestled in a wooded area just a 5 minute walk from Lake Harmony. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The real fireplace makes this place an amazing winter retreat. Thanks so much Tom and Jess for letting us stay here!

Great cabin feel. Very cozy and VERY well stocked with cooking/baking/grill supplies. You really don’t need to bring anything. Very responsive and helpful when I had a billion questions. Stay here!

Lovely Anniversary Trip
My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. The location was perfect for our needs. 10 minutes to Jack Frost for a day of skiing, 5 minutes to several local restaurants/breakfast spots. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had all we needed in the kitchen (coffee pot, microwave, toaster oven). The wood burning fireplace was lovely and plenty of firewood was provided. If I had to give a critique I'd say the lighting leaves a bit to be desired. The chandelier shown in the pictures was not up during our stay so the front room was quite dark - most of the house is lamp lit with the exception of the kitchen. One pointer is to make sure you turn on the baseboard heaters when arrive, in addition to the main heating unit. Overall a wonderful weekend getaway!

Great base for a ski weekend!
This was the perfect space for my husband, kids, and parents to spend the weekend to ski at Jack Frost. The kids loved the bunk beds and it was nice to make a fire in the living room. It was only a 10 minute drive to Jack Frost which made its location ideal.

Very nice, cozy cabin
The cottage was very cozy. Tom was so easy to work with and so quick to respond to all my questions. It is located in a great community close to lake, club house, water park and state parks. House itself was nicely decorated with everything stocked from paper towels to cleaning supplies. Beds were extremely comfy, which is very rare in my experience. Having a real wood burning fireplace was a huge bonus. Overall a great property. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Quiet retreat in the spring
Great stay. Everything was perfect for our small group of 3. Really appreciated the covered carport in the evenings with rain. Daily visits buy a number of deer.
Timely info on access to rental and very fast refund on deposit.

Perfect for the price.
Can’t go wrong for the money. Stayed the weekend with my wife and two daughters. Plenty of room and close to everything. Will definitely try to get back ASAP!!

Beautiful, cozy, and well-kept house
Very nice house, but we wish the bedrooms had blinds on the top window and more lighting in the living room. Hosts were very accommodating to all our needs and helpful with any questions.

Great location in Lake Harmony.Cottage was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. Well equipped, comfortable, clean and very cozy. Hope to be back to enjoy this gem in the fall! Owner was very responsive and accommodating.
