Great house, excellent location. Owners made everything very smooth

This place is phenomenal with the most breaktaking view! The water is literally outside your door. Our caretaker provided good information on how to island hop as well. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed to cook, clean and do laundry. You won’t be disappointed with the location. It’s close to ferry and good food. Thanks for a memorable and awesome stay! We will be back!

We stayed for our anniversary and had a beautiful time. Having the beach right at our back porch was fantastic. Loved every minute there. The waters were beautiful and the sandbars even better. The house was as described and Sarah was a gem, making sure we had everything we needed. She responded back quickly and was super helpful! Everyone was so kind to us in Spanish Wells, truly nice. Still thinking about those lazy mornings and evenings relaxing on the porch ❤️

Great Location !!!

We had an absolute lovely stay at serenity cottage. We traveled as a couple with our almost 2 year old. They were diligent in responding questions re: pack n play at the house and offers to book arrival travel. We would absolutely recommend for a small family!

As someone very familiar with SW and Russell Island we were very pleased with Serenity Beach Cottage. It sits on a large parcel of land and the neighboring houses were at a good distance so it’s private and quiet. Directly in front of the cottage is an enormous sandbar that forms a lagoon which is spectacular. The fully equipped cottage is perfect for a couple or family with little ones. But as great as the cottage was, it really was about the view. Our host was very accommodating with our requests with timing and getting a buggy. We’ll be back!

This house is exactly what any couple or small family needs to experience a little piece of heaven. My hubby and I enjoyed every aspect of this rental. Step off your porch to a beautiful view and stretches of breathtaking beaches. After the sun goes down, a quick golf cart ride to anything you may need: Food Fair (groceries), Buddha’s (drinks), Wrecker’s (restaurant), and so much more….

The whole holiday experience was wonderful.Darin and Danika were extremely helpful with all our questions, transport arrangements and local guidance. Spanish Wells is a very special place and the Serenity cottage a gem !The cottage is perfect for a couple, the bed very comfortable, everything was clean and well kept. The location is wonderful - right on the beach with the best ocean views one could wish for. We look forward to our next visit.

The house and location were perfect. It was so nice to walk right out to the beach from the house. Communication and check in was great.

Everything you need. Grocery store right around the corner. Pictures are accurate. Communication with managers is great. Visit Bernards dock after 30th about 3:00 for fresh caught fish and lobster! Sandbar for Sunday brunch. And Ms. Virginia for breakfast and market on Sunday morning or reserve a private dinner! (delicious)! Buddas for some night time fun. Island tackle to rent a fishing pole on 28th N. Surf fish or right at the harbor docks (if you're not boating). Mostly enjoy the view and floating right in the front yard

Serenity Beach house is exactly as shown/described online. Extremely clean, unbeatable view of the most gorgeous sand beach and Clear aqua blue water. This place is perfect for couples or family with small children. Sarah met us at the dock and answered all questions within minutes of them being ask. Reserve now and be blessed with the best ocean view possible and it’s steps away from Serenity beach house

Right on the beach and so cute. Everything you need. We spent most of our time on the lovely front porch. Right on the Beach!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay on the beach!!! Perfect for a couple of small family!! Nothin better than being steps away from paradise beach!!! Looking forward to going back again.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and had everything you need for your stay. The property is right in the middle of North beach and right by the sand bar. Darrin and his associates are very easy to work with and we will definitely stay here again.

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The beach outside the house was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The community of Spanish Wells was very welcoming and accommodating. There were so many great shops and restaurants to visit during our trip. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend it to others.

Stayed June 7 - 12, 2022. This was our first time staying in Serenity and it will not be our last. This property was perfect for the two of us. Perfect location and can’t ask for better views.

Getting from the airport in N. Eleuthera to the cottage is simple. Darrin Sands, our property Manager coordinated everything for us. Spanish Wells is very laid back and not commercialized at all. So if you're looking for fancy places to eat or gamble or have an active night life, Spanish Wells is not for you. If you are looking for a relaxing true Bahamian "Family Island" experience - then you've come to the right place! We will definitely go back.

Choosing Serenity Beach cottage in Spanish Wells by far exceeded my expectations. From the time I stepped off the ferry I felt safe and completely at home. Sarah escorted me to the cottage, showed me around & stayed in contact throughout my stay & prepared everything for my departure. Prior to my arrival, Sarah & Darrin coordinated my taxi, ferry (both with Calvin whom is awesome!) & buggy (golf cart) fueled & ready to go waiting on me @ the ferry dock. Serenity had everything I needed and that view. Just WOW. I made so many new friends, some of which feel more like family. When they say SW is the safest island in the Caribbean, it truly is the safest island in the Caribbean. Departing was difficult, not only because I had been living in paradise for two weeks, I felt so connected to my cottage, the people & the island as a whole. I will be returning very soon. I can hardly wait. Thank you Darrin, Sarah & Property Owner for hosting heaven on earth at Serenity Cottage. Much Love! DG

This was my second time on Spanish Wells. The first I stayed over on Russell Island and I thought, that was the best place ever. This time I decided to stay on Spanish Wells. And I found a small piece of greatness on the beach. When low tide happens the sand bar opens to the most beautiful views and gives you the chance to walk out into a area that just a few hours earlier was ocean. The home was as advertised. The best views ever!! I felt so safe after my first night, some how the door was wide open when I woke the next morning, thinking that I slept through someone walking into the home I quickly realized that my lap top and cash was still sitting on the table, wind must have opened the door. I also realized the deadbolt need to be locked properly “ user error” I travel a lot and I’m very cautious of my safety. I would say Spanish Wells/ Russell Island is one of the most friendly safe places I’ve ever been. Also while there I explored the other side of the island it’s a must rent a car from JJ car rental the guy John and his wife were great. Just make sure you’re back before the last Ferry! “User error once again” Our host was great they picked me up from the Ferry when I arrived and schedule a Golf Cart for me. “Golf cart is a must” they took me to the home and had all the restaurant options available for me, and had a gallon of water on hand to get me started. Note: if you arrive on Sunday pack a few things to eat just in case, the grocery store on island is closed on Sunday. I give this little cottage 10 stars as it was a great 4 days! Thank you and I’ll be back soon!

Spanish wells and this cute house were great!! We wish we could’ve stayed longer. Being ocean front was ideal for the days we didn’t want to be out in the wind. We would certainly rent it again.

Serenity cottage was exactly what we needed. So sorry to hear Darrin our house manager was in the hospital. We are praying for you and hoping for your complete recovery. This is by far the best place to stay in Spanish Wells. Perfect location and the Sand bar is amazing. We can't wait to come back soon. Dee & Hugh

Serenity Cottage was the perfect rental for my husband & I and our 6 year old daughter. It is a very well equipped rental with fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels & linens, books, puzzles, frisbees, and floating hammocks. There is lots of storage throughout the little cottage too (dressers, closet, drawers under futon). The location is great as it’s RIGHT on the beach, walking distance to grocery store/bank/pharmacy/restaurants. We took the kayaks out a few times, there is a double and single for a child (or small adult…max 130lbs. There were 3 kayak paddles too. We rented a golf cart for our stay as this made it easy to explore the whole island and Russel Island. Darrin was very easy to communicate with and quickly answered my questions leading up to the trip. He also organized transportation from North Eleuthera airport to the cottage. And organized the golf cart to be ready and waiting for us at the dock. There weren’t any sand toys so we left ours there. Few suggestions: replace the bed (and upsize to a king bed); provide Tommy Bahama chairs for the beach and a beach umbrella; hammock in the trees. Highly recommend this cottage for a couple or small family. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall impression of the property is good. Excellent beachfront location while being a short golf cart ride from several restaurants. Only negative comment is that the owner needs to replace the bed. Have been to Spanish Wells multiple times and would rent this property again.
