Amazing A-frame house overlooking Lake Michigan. We loved enjoying breakfast on the deck looking at the water and listening to the waves. The house is exactly as described in the listing, very comfortable, and everything worked flawlessly for our trip. Nicely situated only a few minutes from either Petoskey or Charlevoix but in a very quiet lane, it really is the best of both worlds.

This was the fourth year we have rented this home. The week always goes too quickly. We will be back as often as possible.

This property was beautiful, and the view spectacular. Just a few steps down to the stony beach and finding Petosky stones was so much fun. Close to Petosky as well as Charlevoix, this property hit all the right notes! On a cul de sac, so not alot of traffic at all. Very quiet and beautiful. The fire pit was a bonus for roasting s'mores. The owner provided much more than we anticipated as well, which was so nice! No hesitation to recommend this place to anyone!

I can’t stress enough how great this place is. Owners are super friendly and always prompt in answering questions. Home was super clean, the view….the view!!!! The lake is right off the deck and you can see for miles. Campfire pit in yard and on beach. This was our 10th wedding anniversary and the owner helped us line up a chef to come to the cottage to cook a 4 course meal for us (Chef Sarah from Petoskey Deli is amazing!!)). You will not be upset over your choice to stay here. Our hope is that we’ll get to come back and next time bring our child.

We very much enjoyed our stay and every detail was attended to so that was wonderful. We would definitely return. One observation relative to the downstairs bedroom however is that the motion detector lights go on all night as I’m sure there is a lot of animal activity and each time they do it illuminates the room. Perhaps a pull down shade would make for a more restful night. Other than that we thought the accomplishment were absolutely lovely.

The rocky beach allowed us to rock hunt all week, as it was our first time hunting petoskey stones. Loved sitting on the deck gazing out over the water and listening to the waves at night or watching the sunset. Enjoyed being half way between charlevoix and petoskey for shopping excursions. Highly recommend this home for vacations. Had my elderly mother with us and it was nice with a bedroom/bathroom on the main floor for her and the steps to the beach were very easy to navigate. Kitchen/dishes were fully stocked. Beds were comfortable. Living room furniture was cozy. Love the size and decorations in the home. Will stay again if we return to the area.

Immaculate, wonderful cottage on Lake Michigan. Great location. We could hear the waves crashing on the shore. Very serene and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again!

This property is as advertised. All needs are met. The cottage is spotless, which is so important these days. We are repeat renters of this property.

The house was very clean and well stocked with many items. Nice quiet location at the end of the street. We took many walks around the neighborhood. Beautiful view of the water from the deck and fun to watch the big boats go by. Only issue for our family is we enjoy being in the sun. It was very shady on the deck and all around the house. Only place you could get sun was to be in the water. Having said that, the access to the water was great and we enjoyed that everyday.

Beautiful property - you can see the crystal clear water through the back windows as you enter the front door. The back porch has gorgeous views of the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for making dinner every evening. The carpet on the main floor was hard to keep clean with the sand - I found myself vacuuming every day, but they kept a vacuum for easy access. A couple of things to note so that you are prepared and not surprised. Because of the high water levels this summer, the beach was big enough to sit and enjoy, but there isn’t any sun until around 7pm. We didn’t mind the lack of sun on hot days, but on cooler days, you have to float into the lake to get any sun. 😊 Also, come prepared with mosquito repellent. Without something to repel them, it is impossible to be outside during the summer. We found a wand that repels bugs for a 15 foot radius (not a candle) that worked well. We needed more than just bug spray on our skin. The back yard is quite wooded and thick with bugs. It’s worth it for the natural beauty though. Charlevoix and Petoskey are both an easy 15 minute drive away, and both are very fun to explore with many cute shops and restaurants. Finally, there is a fantastic bike trail that is accessible with this rental that goes for miles and miles - you can ride south to Charlevoix or north to Petoskey - if you are considering bringing bikes, it would be worth it! Cheryl is easy to work with, answers questions quickly, and thought of so many details that make this rental a lovely place to stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go again!

Located between Petoskey and Charlevoix this place featured spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Very spacious and comfortable home surrounded by abundant woods. Some of the best views of Lake Michigan we've ever seen. We loved being so close to the lake. There's a reason this place is booked all summer every year. We felt very safe in this beautiful home with upscale furnishings and upgrades. Great wi-fi and tv connection. The shower looked beautiful. Only minor issue is the water pressure upstairs was very low in the shower, and there was an unpleasant odor in the upstairs bedroom on the lake side; otherwise, my mother wished we had a potato peeler in the kitchen. Extremely happy with our stay. Home is well maintained and has air conditioning. Water tasted great. Would be fantastic if the carpeting was changed out, as it's apparent it's very worn from pets and people coming in from the beach. Owner was excellent and communication superb. Great vacation home and value which we highly recommend. Would love to stay again. 5 stars! Many thanks!
