Villa Hideaway is located in a great area, close to Makarska, but also close to other locations like the beautiful Brela or Vaska Boda. The location requires a car. The villa has all modern comfort, a nice swimming area and a terrace oriented to the South which is lovely for the evening. The villa has a nice view over the area (it is located on a hill). Communication with the owner was smoothless. The villa provides absolute privacy.

Nothing.

The house was large, had most of utensils that one might need and a nice swimming pool. Sunbeds were really comfortable and therefore spending time outside was definitely very pleasant. The owners sent us a brochure with the most important information which was really helpful and made finding the house much simpler.

The barbeque was really dirty. Cleanleaness of towels, sheets and floors in some rooms (e.g. master bedroom) should be paid more attention to as it was not on par with the standard of the house. Parking was a bit tight and, even with a compact car, arriving and leaving required a few manouvers. We were really surprised that there was a camera in the swimming pool area (that seemed to be operational). I can understand that it might be part of the security system, however, it should monitor the outside area and not a place where one is most probably going to spend a lot of time. Alternatively, we should have been told about it and the equipment should have been turned off during guests' stay. Throghout the week, various people were entering the outside area via the garage without even trying to check if anyone was at the house. It is clear the the pool needs to be checked and cleaned up, however, it could have been done in a way that no one would feel like their privacy was disturbed. There were also the little things like the satelite tv not working at all, location a bit further away from the nearest grocery store and so on. It is definitely a property with a huge potential, so I hope that those comments will be taken into consideration and addressed.
