Large back yard for our dogs. Cleanliness of rooms.

It’s not about the property, but our puppy was too scared to go down the steep steps to the backyard. The steps were not too steep just our puppy too scared!

It was so close to the beautiful Dutchie's beach. Plenty of magazines and books to perouse in the bookshelf. Netflix and other movies were available for the kids on rainy days. Air conditioning available to warm us on the colder nights.

The couches were extremely uncomfortable. It seemed clean but there was lots of pet fur on the rugs and seats that was not clean before we arrived. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on also.

The house was clean and cosy. Good location.

Location was perfect. Easy walk down the hill to Dutchies Beach and a little further along to Bagnalls Beach. So central to town as well.

The house is cosy. Whilst the house had two toilets, the main bathroom was quite small and we couldn’t open the window so the bathroom felt very damp after showers. The grass also needed to be mowed as it was quite long in both the front and back yards. The house could also do with a very good dust. Would be ideal if linen was supplied too as that is one less thing you need to travel with.

Super close to the beach and the harbour. Great roomy bedrooms. Could benefit from a smart tv.

How close it was to the beach and it’s dog friendly

The house was neat, tidy and had all facilities necessary for our stay. The house is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to Nelson Bay town centre. There is a laneway a couple houses down the Ave which is the shortest route to Nelson Bay town centre.

Nelson Bay council must be strapped for money or just has a need to grab some tourist money because there are parking meters everywhere in town and along the bay close to town.
