Location really central. Aberdeen is expensive and difficult for parking, but there was parking at location and short walk to centre and park. Lovely view over riverside. Apartment really spacious with all amenities provided

Vor Anreise wird man intensiv hingewiesen auf: -keine Party - nicht rauchen - nichts kaputt machen - und muss 200 Pfund hinterlegen, falls doch etwas kaputt geht. Von daher erwartete ich eigentlich ein perfektes, sauberes Appartement. Sauberkeit, darüber kann man streiten. Typisch schottisch würde ich sagen. Die Toilettenbürsten gehörten jedoch seit Monaten ausgetauscht. Toilettenpapier mussten wir nachordern. Es gibt einen Gasherd, aber kein Feuerzeug. Für Flugreisende schwierig... Mein Hauptkritikpunkt ist: Fußboden in der Küche defekt, Spiegel im Schlafzimmer defekt, Handtuchhalter defekt. Wir wurden auf keinen Defekt hingewiesen, mussten aber 200 Pfund Sicherheit hinterlegen,....das gab und gibt mir ein ungutes Gefühl

The apartment was cosy and spacious. The kitchen was mostly well supplied with the necessary kitchen ware which made it easy to bake and cook a few things. The fact that it is right next to the river was something my 6 year old son loved and the nearby Duthie park was great for walks with the dog. Even though it's right by the main street there was no noise disturbing at night or early in the morning.

I wasn't aware that there was a pet fee before I was contacted about the deposit and a pet fee was then mentioned - I don't think it's explicitly stated anywhere under the description of the flat. The fact that the doors couldn't be propped and were closing shut was a bit disturbing. At first I was shocked to see there was no shower in the bathroom until I realised there was another bathroom en suite to one of the bedrooms.

It’s got nice views outside of River Dee. The tv has a smart tv and Netflix which is useful. It’s a nice flat and bed is comfortable.

I think more information should be given before you book and it after you booked because this is not refundable. They tells you after you booked that they requires a £200 deposit that will be returned to you within a week if no damages in the house which is fine if this was told before booking and not after, this had left me with very small budget left to spend on our holidays which I was not happy with. I had to budget around because of this deposit! This is not fair. We should be given a choice whether we can afford a deposit or not before make our booking! I tried to cancel this apartment because I don’t have much spending money left after this deposit but this was non refundable so I had no choice but to go and also to cut back on our spending! So be aware of this! I was very annoyed at this as it ruined a little for us. Also, it wasn’t the landlord fault but as I parked my car at private car park outside the apartment, I find that someone (possibly using beer bottle) and smashed my front car windows! At bottom corners on both sides! There is no cctv there and as my insurance is third party, this won’t cover a new windows and I was quoted £696 from Autoglass for a new windows! Very disappointing stay. This ended up such a very expensive holidays for me.
