Haben ein Upgrade für eines der Zimmer erhalten, dass wir näher zusammen sind. Die Zimmer waren viel größer als angegeben, ca 30 qm. Das Personal war sehr nett und immer hilfreich bei allen Fragen. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Der Weg zum Strand betrug ca. 2 Minuten, andere schöne Strände waren gut mit dem Roller erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Preis Leistung nicht zu übertreffen 4 Personen 5 Nächte mit Frühstück 75€ pro Nase Eine Minute zu Fuß zum Strand. Sehr ruhige Lage. Genau so wie der Seven Eleven, so gut wie hinter dem Hotel. Roller können über die Unterkunft gebucht werden. Kleines aber feines Frühstücksbüffet. Sonderwünsche waren auch kein Problem, einfach schnell beim Koch fragen :)

The room was perfect, tv, electric kettle, fridge, balcony, very comfortable bed. The lady in reception was very nice. Very good breakfast. Super close to the beach (150 meters) and a 7/11 around the corner.

Not that it was a big problem to us, but there was noone at reception most of the time, for example, when we checked out, we just left the keys in the empty desk.

* Friendly attitude by staff. * Unlimited hot water in the shower and good pressure at any time. * Bed is comfortable and wide (pillows are not at all comfortable though). * Close to a 7/11 and walking distance from the beach; ATM in front; gas pump 50m away; many massage parlors on the street (but we preferred at the beach). * We were upgraded to a much larger room than what we booked.

Very many safety issues: * The scooters they rent out are not safe to use. Falling apart. The back breaks on 2 of their scooters were nonexistent and the front ones were so-so. They should not be renting scooters in this kind of condition. * For the first scooter they insisted we leave our passports at the reception. The person at the reception at that time did not accept a deposit option instead. We reluctantly did and they said they would keep them in a safety locker. In reality they tossed our passport on the counter in between the sheets of papers. The counter was outside basically on the street, accessible by absolutely anyone at any time. There also was hardly ever anyone at the reception (even before ramadan). The next time they accepted a 3000 baht deposit. * The helmets they provided looked like they were straight from the dumpster. Old, dirty, broken. Yes, broken. * The pillows were ridiculously high and hard. We managed to get some better pillows the second night but it was not too easy. * Breakfast starts at 8.00. This means if you are planning to take any day tour, you will miss the breakfast because they departure at about 8.00 from this hotel. Quite a limited breakfast (one small juice per person, tea, instant coffe and some fruit (not enough fruit) + you order a specific meal from the menu (eggs in all forms plus toast and sausage). And they might get you what you ordered, but they might not. 50-50 there :) * Curtains let in a lot of light, so you wake with the sun. * Others have commented on the bathroom solution, but it is not the end of the world.

+ Good location to explore the island (cheap scooter/motorbike rentals nearby) + The beach by the hotel is one of the best on the island + Great restaurants and beach bars right by the hotel. Even if you don’t stay at this hotel, I would recommend staying in this area because of the great vibe! + Helpful staff

- The bed was hard and the pillows were so bad! We barely slept for the 3 nights we stayed at the hotel - Breakfast wasn’t very good. Would only recommend the french toast, but it’s not enough to keep you full for long. - The hotel could use some fresh paint

the rooms were clean and spacious and were even equipped with a mini fridge. The location was great as well, only a short walk to the beach. The staff was so kind and helpful, overall great value for money.

you could hear noise from the street during the night, so I would recommend bringing earplugs.

The Ray Bay Hotel is an excellent choice for a place to stay with very reasonable price rates. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean with everything that you need. The location is great, I’m Klong nin you have the beach a few minutes walk away surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The staff at Ray Bay are the most lovely people and can help you with anything you may need. I will most definitely be staying at Ray Bay again when returning to Koh Lanta.

Been to Thailand a few times now and can confidently say this is the best place we have stayed so far. The personnel are the friendliest and most caring people. The type of people that would give the shirts off their backs. They helped us with all of our requests. We have some health issues and when we had a medical emergency, they immediately arranged transportation to and back from a great clinic (all the medical personnel spoke perfect English). You can rest assured, that you are in safe hands here. The location is perfect if you want to explore Koh Lanta’s beaches, National park, Old Town (and many more). It’s located right next to the beach, 7/11, pharmacy, and restaurants. You can rent out scooter and arrange trips (inside the island and to go other towns) with them. The rooms are very clean, with good facilities. Breakfast was very tasty (I recommend french toast baked in the egg with honey)

The staff was very lovely and helpful towards the guests, very welcoming. We appreciate the big and clean room. Not many choices for breakfast, but we liked it anyway! Quite good location: beach is very near - 5 minutes walk and old town is like 30 mins by taxi

The hotel is in an excellent location, an excellent beach, just a few steps away, also food stalls, 7/11 restaurants. The staff is very nice and especially the owner of the hotel Nam who helps with every request, pleasant to talk to and kind. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. When we arrived they were ready to grill fresh caught fish for us. The small reception garden area is beautiful. It is on the road about a thirty second walk from the north side of the beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Conveniently, there is a kiosk in front to help arrange transport or excursions.

Our room was facing a big intersection that had trucks and motorbikes making loud noises which woke us up every morning around 7am. Besides that, the hotel was fantastic.

Great hotel amazing value for money! For the price and star rating this hotel exceeded all of our expectations! The hotel staff at Lanta Ray Bay are genuinely some of the kindest people we have ever met. They were all so incredibly friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. The people alone made our stay here in Lanta all that more enjoyable. Location is 10/10 30 second walk to Klong Nin beach - a really chilled out beach with loads of cool beach bars. 7/11 is 1 min walk around the corner. ATM and tourist booth in the lobby of the hotel which is really convenient, so you can easily book any excursions / ferry / onward travel, as well as hire scooters from the hotel at a cheap price around 200/250 baht per day. The hotel itself is really nice too, clean and comfortable with all the facilities that you need including free bottles of water each day. There is a gym which is great too - small but sufficient and for the price it’s such good value. We also had breakfast included and were thoroughly impressed - you get juice, tea/coffee, fruit and a main (recommend the omelette or pancake option). We have been travelling Thailand for a few weeks now and this hotel is by far the best that we have stayed in and the most incredible value for money. Thank you again to the lovely staff for such a great stay.

the room needed some attention. there was no overhead light - looked like there used to be one on the wall but it was removed. shower needed attention - didn’t spray consistently, knob fell off when trying to turn it. towels were very old and hard feeling.

I love the design and the cleanliness/room prep of the workers of whom prepared our arrival

I did not like the Wi-Fi or the fact that some of the lights did not work. Also the air-conditioning made a strange sound. We were able to move rooms, however, and that was greatly appreciated

I liked everything. Perfect location. 2 min to the beach and 2 min to 7-11 just by walking. Helpful and very friendly staff. Excellent service. Stayed 47 days. I be back next season for sure!😍😀🌴☀️

Would like hooks for towels in the bathroom and somewhere to dry beach towels.

Everything was great, modern and clean room for a very reasonable price!

In general good place: clean and well located. However, stuff was not always helpful. Breakfast was not very special but it’s the same in most Asian places

Location was very good.

We arrived and our room had been overbooked, so we were taken to the hotel nearby, that's no problem, only that when we were told from the other hotel that we should leave, we did so in the hope that our room would be ready, but it wasn't. So, it means that two days after arrival we were at the reception waiting for a room to be ready. The room given was good, but there was a general lack of care: the lock did not work, so we stayed in an open room that day, and the lock was replaced the day after. During the next three remaining days of our stay in the hotel, the room was never clean, or the beds made. Nothing. Although the room was really big and had a balcony, it did not have basic items such hangers or a seat in the balcony or the room. It was, I would say, lack of care. With such small things the stay would have been so much more pleasant.
