It was a great place, great location and great house to take our dog to!

Third stay at Seashell Cottage! This time brought our own bikes and found it convenient to ride out to Lighthouse Road, then inland to Highway 20 and north to Parsons Farm’s really nice produce stand for a fruit stop and back. 24 miles RT on roads with mostly wide shoulders. Also convenient enough to beach, with a nice park across the street for walking the dog. Quiet neighborhood offers a respite from OC’s hectic Coastal Highway.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The beds & sofas were comfortable. Everything was great. Kitchen well stocked, crock pot, pots & pans, dishes, utensils,,toaster, blender, & margaritas machine? (didn't try it but should have!!) Nice park across street,canal dwn street, beach quick drive w free parking spots. Nice picnic bench and grill. So nice!

Upon first arriving my toddler leaned against the wooden railing at the top of the stairs next to the door and it started swaying. We immediately made a “no learning in the banister” rule in fear of it breaking. After we got the key to enter the home, the handle of the storm door came off. Once we figured out how to open the storm door we were greeting with a seemingly clean little cottage. We started to unpack and it seemed like each room we went into there were more broken things that needed repairs. The wood panel above the cabinet under the sink was just leaning against the cabinetry. The screen door for the inside pantry was broken with the screen half pushed through. There was a broken strip of wood on the corner of the hallway that my husband had to fix so it wouldn’t be dangerous for our children. The strip of floor trim in the entrance of the room with the two beds kept coming up causing everyone to trip. I immediately called the company who manages the property and they said they would send someone out. We never saw anyone. I did receive a notification that someone was there and the door was fixed. The next day my husband and I were loading the car for the beach and the handle came off again. This time we struggled to get it back on and my child was on the other side of the door crying. I sent a picture of the ordeal to management and they just said “sorry you’re experiencing this” The bathroom doors do not lock (not ideal with two families staying in one home) the master bathroom door doesn’t close all the way. My family and I stay at rentals several times a year and this is the first poor review I am leaving. The management company does not care how your stay is and while they give you a number to reach out 24/7 there is little follow up about repairs and concerns.

Close to the water and a park . Has everything you need !

The home was not clean upon check in. We were not allowed to check in early because we were told housekeeping was cleaning the home. Not the case at all. Short black hair and large hair balls throughout the home. We will not stay at this home again.

The description was a bit deceiving. Washer and dryer not working properly. Had to run dryer a few times. Furniture, dressers, have been painted and are very difficult to open. Outdoor area was unkept and mold on rug. Needs more updating to charge as much as they do.

The house was beautifully decorated and had a very cozy feel. The location is perfect and several beaches are nearby to which allows a variety of experiences. The house was clean and offered several amenities you will not get in a hotel.

Well stocked, nice comfy touches like extra fluffy blankets on the couch. The outside shower pressure was strong and water warmth lasted for the whole family to shower. The washing machine needs cleaned and the dryer doesn’t dry in one shot but nothing the laundry line can’t handle. She’d full of beach supplies and Will definitely enjoy this property again.

This house had everything we needed! It was extremely clean and convenient to everything. We loved that it had bikes to take a bike ride. Would definitely stay there again!
