A delightful and warm home, Podere dei Poeti is the product of many years of meticulous and loving restoration by the owner who has maintained many of the original features as well as furnishing elegantly and tastefully. Situated on the hillside in the hamlet of Canova, Podere dei Poeti enjoys spectacular views to the Apuan National Park in the heart of Lunigiana.
The property is able to accommodate up to 16 people and consists of five apartments fully equipped with independent kitchen, A/C and Wi-Fi.
Podere dei Poeti is built on several levels with delightful terraces and loggias where guests can enjoy dining al fresco, early evening aperitivi and lazy afternoons lying in the sun.
A few steps from the picturesque courtyard we find a large infinity pool area with a lovely pergolo and garden furnishing from which one can gaze at the breathtaking mountains.
The gardens and terraces around are all decorated with typically Mediterranean plants, with olive and cypress trees, lilies, roses, lavender and juniper. The encolsed deep water pool is cleverly positioned beneath the house with plenty of sun beds and sunshades where guests can relax and unwind – a haven for switching off from the stress of modern day living.
Nearby, there is lots to explore be it the thermal pool and treatments at Equi Terme, the market at Fivizzano or walking in the Apuans.
A fabulous drive or train journey takes one to medieval Lucca and only an hour away is the stunning Ligurian coast with the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Lerici where one can savour delicious seafood and white wine.

Wir waren mit 15 Erwachsenen und 7 Kindern für eine Woche hier. Das Haus ist geräumig und verwinkelt, was einen besonderen Charme ausmacht. Der Poolbereich und die große Pergola mit Außenküche waren unser Highlight, hier haben wir viele gemütliche Stunden verbracht. Neu renoviertes Anwesen mit viel Potential. Vielen Dank für den hervorragenden Urlaub!

Podere dei Poeti is situated on top of a hill in Lunigiana , between Tuscany and Liguria. The house is well equipped and has a really nice pool. We experienced the place better than the photos shown on the internet. The rooms were nice and clean and there is plenty of space for eighteen people. We really enjoyed the terrace with the view towards the trees. There are several places to enjoy your dinner but the best one is outside the house under pergolo. We wouldn't hesitate to visit the place again!

Un piccolo borgo ben restaurato e confortevole in una zona però poco interessante, anche se ben collegata a La spezia, Lerici, Lucca. La proprietà è di pregio e gli appartamenti sono ben arredati, peccato per la pulizia molto approssimativa sia dei singoli appartamenti che delle zone comuni (barbecue e forni a legna da pulire e cucina esterna non utilizzabile, qualche problema anche con gli scarichi di acqua e lo svuotamento della cisterna generale); anche la piscina sembrava un po' povera di cloro e dall' acqua non limpidissima. Il WiFi non funziona bene. Da tenere presente che il borgo è aperto e non recintato, dunque seppur sia possibile affittare la proprietà in modo esclusivo è capitato di trovare delle persone esterne al nostro gruppo gironzolare tra gli appartamenti e la piscina, e questo ad alcuni visitatori potrebbe infastidire.
Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, ma la pulizia generale è da migliorare.
