La casa stessa era incredibile, molto confortevole e aveva tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Nonostante alcune sfide come la bassa pressione della doccia e le istruzioni in tedesco, abbiamo trascorso un tempo fantastico e vorremmo tornare.

Cozy home in Burg-Reuland with sauna

Questa casa vacanze indipendente si trova al confine tra Belgio e Lussemburgo, nella splendida valle del fiume Our, tra Burg-Reuland e Ouren. Si vive a soli 100 metri dal confine tedesco e a 3 km dal confine con il Lussemburgo, appena dentro il Belgio. In questo triangolo di confine si parla tedesco, così come in tutti i cantoni orientali del Belgio, che formano gli Alti Fiumi a nord. Qui non solo potrete godere della pace, dell'aria fresca e della splendida natura, ma anche della buona cucina di questa regione. Nei variegati dintorni si possono fare infinite passeggiate e godere di magnifici panorami e valli accoglienti. In auto, le città di Clervaux, Vianden, Diekirch, Monschau e Lussemburgo sono ottime destinazioni per una gita di un giorno. Anche Treviri merita una visita se siete interessati alle storiche piazze del mercato o se volete vedere la Porta Nigra, una porta romana quasi completamente conservata. Informazioni turistiche dettagliate, opuscoli e percorsi escursionistici sono disponibili presso l'alloggio. La casa è costruita su un pendio, quindi la zona giorno vera e propria è raggiungibile tramite una scala. Su questo piano si trova il soggiorno con cucina a vista e accesso al balcone e al giardino. Dal soggiorno, una scala aperta conduce al primo piano con le camere da letto, il bagno e la sauna a infrarossi. Si prega di notare che i letti a castello in una delle camere da letto non sono adatti agli adulti in quanto sono lunghi solo 1,90 metri e larghi 0,80 metri. La casa vacanze è spaziosa, luminosa e meravigliosamente arredata in modo confortevole, con un divano e sedie in pelle nella zona pranzo, una grande TV a schermo piatto e il WiFi. Sul lato sud della casa c'è un bel balcone dove potrete godervi il sole fino a tarda sera. C'è anche una terrazza riparata sul retro. Di fronte alla casa per vacanze si trova una bellissima valle con colori che cambiano a seconda delle stagioni, che si può ammirare appieno dal soggiorno e dal balcone. La casa vacanze è il luogo ideale per chi ama la natura e uno stile di vita rilassato.

The house its self was amazing, very comfortable and it had everything you needed for the stay. The property would not be suitable for anyone that finds stairs a challenge and also i wouldn't say its suitable for very young children as the stairs are fairly open. The location of the property is in a very quiet village of a few houses with no shops close by, the closest amenities are about 5 miles away across the border into Luxembourg in Weiswampach 15 mins drive or so. The house is right next to a dairy farm so be prepared to be woken by the cow's early every morning, we loved this but it might not be for everyone. I would recommend taking fly paper with you as the property had many (from the location) and also mosquito's were an issue (nothing to do with he house!!) There is internet at the house but it is fairly slow, it worked well for checking emails and however it struggled when trying to stream anything, also there is intermittent mobile service mainly due tot he location being in a valley. The were only two things that i did not enjoy and dont think it could be changed was the pressure in the shower, it was very low and being a hairy chap it took an age to shower. The other was that everything was in German so we struggled a bit to work everything out like the hot water timer, house rules and what to do with he rubbish. We got through it but it would have been helpful to get ti in English! apart from that this we had an amazing time here and would return again.
