Small shower with a huge spa bath. Could have normal bath & bigger shower

The staff were very accommodating and let us in earlier. The location is perfect can walk to the local shops.

Our hotel room was large, clean, airy, and easy to move around. The room heating was excellent. The bedding was absolutely comfortable. The bathroom was clean, modern, and roomy as well. The shower head allowed for excellent water flow, and the water temperature was very comfortable. We loved the decor of the room and being able to sit out on the balcony. We enjoyed the garden view which overlooks the carpark; but there are rooms with views of the bay on the other side of the hotel as well. The meals at the hotel restaurant were exceptional and the staff were accommodating to my special meal request. Love the large deck off the restaurant. Not only is it an outdoor area to enjoy a meal on during the warmer weather, but it also provides excellent views of the bay and wetlands which are home to a variety of local birdlife. The relaxation and seating areas throughout the hotel, which provide areas to sit and look out on these areas, are very pleasant as well. We appreciated being able to fill our drink bottles with fresh filtered mountain water from a water fountain in the lobby. The large off street carpark is another big bonus. The overall decor and atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant. The photo exhibition displayed on the walls all around the hotel during our visit was excellent and added a special touch to the overall experience.

Doorways entering into the hotel were a bit grubby. That is probably the only thing regarding cleanliness that was a concern to us. Other than that, I would give the hotel a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. A security concern was that the sliding glass and screen doors leading out onto our balcony needed better locking mechanisms. We would have loved a check out time of 11am so we could have a bit more time in the morning to enjoy the overall experience.
