Mill House è una straordinaria rimessa per pullman del XVIII secolo immersa nello splendido paesaggio della Valle del Nore, a soli due chilometri dal pittoresco villaggio di Inistioge.
Una proprietà espansiva ma accogliente suddivisa al primo piano in un tranquillo cortile, vanta una spaziosa cucina / sala da pranzo ben arredata con accesso a una grande terrazza solarium con vista sul giardino privato e sul laghetto.

Un arioso salotto separato, con porte finestre sul ponte, è arredato in modo confortevole e dotato di una stufa a legna, TV satellitare e una selezione di DVD e CD.
Decorata con amore dappertutto con un'eclettica collezione di opere d'arte accumulate da tutto il mondo, la Mill House offre un ambiente accogliente e familiare in un ambiente privato e appartato, ma con facile accesso a numerosi servizi locali nelle vicine Thomastown (4. 5 km) e Kilkenny (18 km).
Tutti i piumini, le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono inclusi, così come il riscaldamento.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Host Daniel was great to work with. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. Convenient location to where we were during our stay and Daniel gave us some recommendations to go see which proved to be well worth our time to visit.

Everything was perfect. For our first night in Ireland we could not have asked for any thing more! Ziggy and Coco were an added bonus!

The grounds and the house itself are spectacular. Large kitchen and lounge, several comfy bedrooms. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need, from firewood to laundry detergent.
There was bonus apple trees with delicious apples and 2 dogs that the kids adored.
Some downsides - check in was a bit of a hassle. I was sent an email that implied the host would be at the property but when we arrived no one was there and had to message to get instructions for key.
Spiders - we're from Australia so we don't mind a couple of spiders, but there were a lot of spiders! It's an old house, I get it, but still.
Old wiring meant some lights and light switches were temperamental or didn't work.
Overall we had a lovely stay, but wasn't perfect.

Check in process was poor. I sent multiple (3) messages the day of arrival but when we got there around 7PM the house had not been cleaned after previous guests left. I placed a call and owner had it cleaned. We went out to dinner while this was done. Disappointed by the delay after traveling all day, and paying so much for the rental. Although I didn't ask for it, a nice offer by the owner turned sour when he said he would cover our dinner repeatedly but never compensated us.
Overall we liked the countryside location of the home, but 2 things should be clear- the 2nd bathroom is up a spiral staircase connected to a bedroom (not easy to take luggage up there or use that bathroom). Another bedroom overlooks one below it, so zero privacy. The faucets in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom both had issues - handles non-functional / no flow.
I'd like to say I really liked the property, but I think they can do better.
