The location of this property is wonderful, especially if you like the quieter side of the lake. The beach was a short walk and we practically had it to ourselves. The Mossy Point boat launch was a less than 5 min drive. The walk to the dock on the property (we kept our 18’ bowrider tied up all week) was a short walk across the street but keep in mind you have to walk a little up hill to get back to the house. There was a fire pit that we enjoyed roasting some marshmallows for s’mores on. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in porch. We enjoyed almost every meal out there with a beautiful view of the lake. It was very hot the beginning of the week but there were so many fans in the house it was fine. There was a cleaning issue we encountered when we arrived but the owners were extremely prompt in responding and correcting the issue! we really appreciated that. The house is rustic and expect some centipedes, spiders and silverfish but it beats camping! The house was stocked with paper products which was great. Overall, I would recommend the property.

The cabin was in a beautiful location with amazing views of the lake from the screened in porch, a gorgeous bluff across the water, and a relatively remote location in Lake George that was quiet and quaint. We had a great time. My only reservation was that I don't believe the place was cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. It is a cabin and listed/priced accurately given the lack of washer/dryer, but there were empty disposable water bottles/crumbs under the couch and the bathrooms/kitchen could use a good scrub. Again, this was a wonderful place with great communication with the hosts. It did not detract from our stay but other reviews had suggested that it could be cleaner and we agreed.

Our second summer staying here. Love it. Will be back!

We had a wonderful week at this classic Adirondack camp. The weather didn't always cooperate for boating but the camp has a big screened porch where you can have family dinners and play board or card games. The upstairs bedroom set up was perfect for one set of grandkids- one toddler in each of the end rooms (so they wouldn't wake one another) and parents in the center. Lots of fans for all rooms but given its proximity the house always cools down at night. Big grassy area for running and playing lawn games, firepit for smores and a good dock for our boat. We rented the other cabin owned by these same people and that worked out well also. Cute little cabin for parents and two little girls. They fished near the shore off a rocky reef and caught and released over 20 fish. Very exciting! Small local beach is within walking distance and the kids had lots of fun there too. We have a big pontoon boat and went out everyday - somedays in between rain storms. A great time was had by all; Lake George is spectacular. We are already talking about going back. Owners of these properties are very communicative, flexible and quickly respond to questions. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
