Villa surrounded by greenery in the typical Roman country house
Amazing Villa surrounded by the greenery of the Parco della Marcigliana, only 15 km away from Rome and 6 km away from the Settebagni motorway exit. In order to reach the Villa, you need to have a car with good clearance to drive 3 km through the natural reserve.
The Villa is located on the top of one of the hills of the Parco della Marcigliana, having a stunning overview over the countryside and over Rome.
The Villa is located on two floors and is composed by 3 large living rooms and a dining room with a fireplace at the ground floor,a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms sharing a covered patio, with a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and over Rome. The two main bedrooms have their own bathroom inside, whereas the third bedroom has the bathroom just outside the room. On the upper floor there are 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a terrace overviewing the landscape.
All the floor of the Villa is made of Neapolitan cotto tile.
The Villa is surrounded by a wide private garden with a swimming pool open from late April till the beginning of October.
This hidden gem is the perfect place to spend your holidays in perfect harmony with the peace of the reserve, far away from the confusion of the city, in the evocative setting of the Roman countryside.

Fantastica villa immersa nel verde secolare del parco della Marcigliana a soli 15 kilometri da Roma e a circa 6 dallo svincolo autostradale di Settebagni. È necessario raggiungere la Villa con un mezzo privato, adatto a percorrere circa 3 km di strada di campagna all'interno del parco. La villa si sviluppa su due livelli, é composta da un ampio soggiorno, zona pranzo, cucina completa, due camere da letto matrimoniali, una singola, quattro bagni ed ampio giardino con accesso esclusivo alla piscina di acqua salata. Il piano superiore è composto da tre camere da letto matrimoniali, due bagni, un cucinino ed una terrazza panoramica.
La piscina ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti rende là proprietà il posto perfetto dove trascorrere le vostre vacanze in armonia con il silenzio del parco e lontani dal trambusto cittadino, nella suggestiva cornice della campagna romana. Un'oasi di vero relax e tranquillità!

Thank you so much for a lovely break. We have always wanted to visit Rome and this was the perfect base. It was very peaceful and remote yet only 30mins drive into Rome. Loved seeing the wild boar in the evenings, and a visit from a friendly fox! Please note that you will need a high clearance vehicle to manage the track to the property.

La villa est impressionnante située sur une Coline surplombant Rome avec vue sur la coupole de Saint Pierre au loin.Les photos ne reflètent pas complètement le charme de cet endroit .On se croit presque invité chez des amis .Mobilier ancien, tableaux charmants .....Cotta au sol , poutres au plafond....Beaucouo de place dans la villa et dans le parc Tout n est pas parfait , mais chez des amis non plus.Et un hôte attentionné qui parle parfaitement le français.

This , for us was a very special holiday. The property is a grand house with tall ceilings and a great sense of space. Set in a large garden of about 2 to 3 acres, on a hill and surrounded by tall trees with views over the whole of the city of Rome. (You can make out St Peters dome)
There is a good sized pool surrounded by large paved areas for dining/sunbathing. There are also other areas where you can dine.
The approach to the property takes you off the tarmac and onto a rough track, here you leave the bustle of modern life, there are no people but you may see wild boar. The track takes about 15mins to cover. We had an ordinary small hire car but would advise a car with more ground clearance, small suv perhaps.
At the beginning of the track, near the main road, there is a farm which makes cheese from sheeps milk, dont pass up this opportunity..gorgeous.
Trips into Rome take about 40 minutes, make sure you know where the car parks are before you leave.
The owner Francesco was very helpful and obliging.
We will go again.
