Il Fienile del Poggiolo :a family cottage close to Florence: valley views
Se stai cercando pace, tranquillità, panorami meravigliosi in un paesaggio incontaminato di uliveti e boschi meravigliosi con un ricco background storico, non cercare oltre!Un soggiorno nella nostra casa, adagiato sulle colline sopra Londa, un grazioso borgo antico a circa 45 minuti da Firenze, vi offrirà un'esperienza indimenticabile. L'edificio, un antico fienile ristrutturato mantenendo le sue caratteristiche originali e la disposizione, ha un giardino recintato con lavanda, rosmarino e rose. La piscina in comune (14m x 7m) situata in un ampio terreno ampio si trova a soli venti metri di distanza. Si entra in un ampio soggiorno con camino e angolo cottura e si prosegue verso la camera padronale con bagno en suite. Una grande porta a vetri conduce alla seconda camera adiacente con due letti singoli e uscita indipendente sul giardino. Il cottage è adatto per una famiglia con bambini e animali domestici, essendo il giardino completamente recintato.

First of all, the place is just a Tuscan dream. You wake up to the sound of the wind flowing through the mountains and a subtle sunlight that’s guarded by the mountains surrounding you. Second, the cottage is so connected to nature that it really gives you the chance to finally relax, eat, read a book or do whatever you need to recharge. Finally, Maria Luisa is such a sweet lady and she really gives you all the details (and space) you need to work around all the utilities. We highly recommend staying here if your looking to desconnect and relax.

Heerlijke rustige locatie met alles erbij wat je nodig hebt. Keuken met oven, goede bedden en badkamer en lekkere stoelen in de tuin. Plus een zwembad dat je deelt met de andere gasten. De weg ernaartoe is wel smal maar goed te doen, je went er aan.

We absolutely loved staying at Maria Luisa's place. It was perfect and we will definitely go back.
The house was beautifully decorated and perfect for a family with children. The garden and pool were amazing.
It was the perfect setting for a very relaxed vacation.

We have just returned from a week at this property. Our expectations were high having read all the glowing reviews !
The owner Maria we found to be charming. The garden and the views....all superb !
However, we felt there was inadequate comfortable seating in the property and that the facilities were only just adequate. No iron or microwave and the oven was dirty. We considered that it would be unsuitable for four adults as the bathroom is entered by going through the master bedroom.
We have rented holiday cottages every year for the last 20years and have never given any negative feedback, however, believe in being honest and fair. Overall we didn't feel it was good value for money.
