Questa è una casa di 100 anni del W. H. Famiglia di salmoni della contea di Harnett. La casa è stata ristrutturata e si trova su 62 ettari di terreni agricoli. This property was a beautiful retreat for us! Our host, Darrell Salmon, was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and available. We really felt transported to a lovely, private, comfortable home with a gorgeous yard surrounded by horses on one side and farmland on the other. In the early morning, we heard songbirds, along with a hawk and woodpecker in the distance. We were delighted to be near Raven Rock State Park, where we enjoyed hiking to the impressive Raven Rock alongside the Cape Fear River. We hope to visit again very soon! Thanks very much, Darrell!

We absolutely loved our stay at this farmhouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The farmhouse is full of history and charm, which made the experience even more special. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The owner was amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. You can truly tell they care about their guests and take pride in the property. We enjoyed learning about the history of the farmhouse and appreciated all of the thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and inviting.If you are looking for a peaceful, cozy place with character and wonderful hospitality, we highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for peace and tranquility. The host, Darrell, was kind and helpful. The home is a perfect gateway for relaxation and comfort. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I, along with my mother, stayed at the Salmon farmhouse for a long weekend to visit our kids and grands who live in Sanford. Oh, we only wish we would have found this spot 8 years ago when our kids were posted to Fort Bragg! The location is perfect, the house is extremely clean and well-maintained, the property is beautifully landscaped, and Darrell, the host, is very friendly and helpful.The kitchen is supplied with everything you might possibly need---from dishes to cookware to paper products and staples. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on!Darrell also met us at the horse pasture and let our grandkids get acquainted with the horses. They loved it!If you are in the Fort Bragg/Lillington area and need a place to stay, pass on the hotels and contact Darrell. You will have a wonderfully refreshing and peaceful visit.
