Very nice and modern apartment, with great view. Host was responsive and met our every request. Good value for money. Supermarket is very close and you can see it from balcony. Parking was also provided as well as good internet.

All was good.

We were a couple with a child staying at the apartment 2 nights, the apartment located in a new building with undercover garage The keys waited for us in a lock box and communication with the owner was ok The apartment was clean and nice decorate.

The apartment is in a pretty new building. It's located close to a Lidl and some other small food shops. City center is a bit of a walk though. The reserved private parking is excellent to have. Interior is very decent and quite complete. Check in was easy (key box) and the owner sent a video with instructions. It would be helpful if the instructions included how to get from the street to the apt building, as Google maps sends you to the Lidl instead. Also useful to have the various door codes in written form so looking them up doesn't require going through the video again.

While the building seems quite far from the road, the noise during the morning and evening traffic jams, as well as that from the incidental "sporty" exhaust or crappy old truck, carries extremely well. The curtains in the bedroom do very little to block out the morning light. In my opinion the bedroom needs a set of really heavy, thick curtains, to help with both these issues. Noise from the neighbors, even if not excessive (e.g. a chair dragging over the floor, or someone coughing) can be heard as well. The keybox dangles rather precariously from a staircase railing on the 7th floor. When it opens, the lid comes off and the key is loose inside. The arrangement is just asking for these to drop down the stairwell, so be careful when opening.

Good lighting with dimmable and color switchable LED in the living room. Sitting area on the balcony. Equipped with most things you would need. Parking space under the building. Lift directly from parking garage. Easily understandable way of getting keys and codes for contactless first entry.

There was no blanket for our child. There was a freezer with the function of cold drinking water outlet but the water inside had mold. Bedroom window could not be closed/sealed so that the street noise wasn't heard well. There is something wrong with the window sealing i guess and that leads us to second and the worst problem we had. There is a private residence area nearby and some 2 dogs barked almost all night and because the window let all the street noises in we couldn't sleep most of the night, only slept like 2-3 hours when the dogs didn't bark.

Very nice design of the apartment and check in procedures were clear and easy to follow.

The apartment is close to Grand Hotel Italia, so if you're looking to walk in the center of Cluj you have to take a taxi, it's not walking distance.
