Rosie, her home and property exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect location to visit many distilleries. Great location, great views, beautiful inside and out. Rosie was a great host!

We loved the farm and felt so welcomed. House was great and exactly what our family needed. It was great to stretch our legs in such a beautiful setting but still be convenient to Keeneland, Midway and Lexington.

Spent the week enjoying the horses and bourbon trail. Evening hours were relaxing on the back porch.

Cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Dew Drop In. The location is absolutely stunning. Beautiful horse farm surrounded by rolling hills. The home is great. Very new, very comfortable, and everything you need for a great trip. Rosie and her family are wonderful hosts. Quick to respond to all questions and even took us on a tour of the horse farm! If you are looking for a relaxing get-away, this place cannot be beat.

We had an amazing time staying at this house. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and supplied. We cooked all of our meals during our stay. The hosts were welcoming and even dropped off freshly baked goodies. Our family enjoyed walks on the farm and the kids were mesmerized by the horses and barn cats. We even spent a lovely early evening sitting on the porch watching the hay bales. The stargazing was spectacular as well. It is in a great location. My kids keep asking to go back!

This house was wonderful for a girls trip of seven women from Texas. There was plenty of room for visiting. We loved sitting on the porch watching the horses come in, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would highly recommend this house for families and groups. Broussard and a Rosie were great hostesses, even giving us a tour of the farm. Great all around relaxing and beautiful property. Would stay there again!

For a city family that knows nothing about the farm, this stay was delightful! The hospitality and care was beyond what I’ve experienced with a rental property. Our family with two little ones felt right at home and our 3 year old didn’t want to leave! Rosie and Broussard were incredibly welcoming. They let us do our thing wandering the farm, checked in occasionally, and provided ideas for our family to check out in the area. Highly likely we’ll be back!

I have absolutely no complaints! This guest house is tucked perfectly in the center of beautiful horse country, surrounded by trees, and rolling hills! The house is PERFECT for a relaxing trip. We wanted to get away to some place quiet and it was just that! Every morning and evening we enjoyed coffee or an evening cocktail on the huge wrap around porch, enjoyed the views, while saying hello to their horses that make their way behind the home to drink some water and graze. Rosie is the sweetest host! She left us some delicious baked cookies, some breakfast basics, & fresh flowers to add a cozy touch to an already cozy home! I could go on forever... but just take my word for it! You will not be disappointed. This place is also only about 15-20 min from downtown Lexington which we ventured and explored a little each day for some wonderful dinner and bourbon drinks! I can’t wait to go back.

The home is absolutely beautiful and the pictures are accurate. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and brownies during our stay, which was a really nice touch. The wrap around porch provided a peaceful end to a busy day's work, watching the horses and deer play in the fields. We had a little issue with the stove and grill that the Rosie and Broussard rectified right away. My colleagues and I were traveling for work and this was our last stop on a 2 week journey chosen specifically to be able to unwind. We had our bikes with us and took advantage of the beautiful country side and smooth roads. In the evening after dinner, the farm is a great place for a stroll and so quiet. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again soon but this time with my family.

You could not ask for a more ideal farmhouse. Beautiful location, well maintained, and kind hosts. We will be back.

I have stayed multiple times at this property "The Dew Drop In" and it is simply the best! Its my favorite place to stay when I am in Kentucky for the races or horse sales. It is beautiful peaceful and extremely quiet, which I love!

Our stay was beyond our expectations. The home was beautiful and beautifully equipped with everything you need. We had six adults on the trip and the house could have easily accommodated eight. The family was lovely and greeted us upon arrival. The view is breathtaking. This morning we all enjoyed watching the horses playing right outside the front door. During our stay we visited a local winery Equus and spent a day at Keeneland. Both locations were 15 minutes from the house. We would highly recommend this location. Thank you Rosie.

First let me say that this property is exactly as described. The owners were wonderful to work with and the entire experience was just marvelous. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The property itself is so peaceful and very centrally located while still feeling remote. We travelled for a football game at UK and took in several bourbon stops all close to the home while visiting. If you get a chance to go on the tour of the horse farm, please do. Broussard is great at telling his family’s story and the farm itself is beautiful. Rosie, his wife, surprised us with a few things In the fridge to start us off. She also made and left the most delicious oatmeal raisin cookies. I was crushed when I realized I had accidentally forgotten to take them with us! We had a large group while staying so I slept on the pull out couch. I was assured it was a comfortable pull out and it definitely was. If you are deciding between this and a hotel, definitely choose this option! You will not regret it!

Our family of five adults found Rose’s home to be very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. We especially appreciated breakfast items supplied by Rose! The horse farm tour was fun and very special- as we were able to pet the horses. It was also fun to see the horses in the pastures surrounding the house! Just a very special place to stay with family! Thank you, Rose!!!

This place was awesome! I was in Kentucky buying yearlings at the July sale and wanted a place to come home to and relax and unwind after the sale. I wanted a quiet place with no other people around and boy did I find it. The owners of the property are awesome and amazing. Extremely welcoming and friendly. The house was perfect, very very clean and the views were amongst the best in the blue grass. The sunrise from the master bedroom was the most elegant and picturesque I have ever seen in my life. If you love horse country and are not a fan of hotels and want more room, this is the place to stay. Also the farm tour was so so cool. Thank you Rosie and Broussard for everything. I will be coming back and staying here many many times in the future!

Our stay was incredibly relaxing...watching fireflies and mom and baby horses at night from the wraparound porch. Only an hour from Louisville, we spent a Sunday afternoon at Churchill Downs as well a few horse farms on Monday/Tuesday. Lexington has a lot to offer, but we also enjoyed the restaurants and shops in the village of Midway a few miles down the road from Saxony Farm.
