We came in from Virginia Beach to stay up in Maine at this little slice of heaven called “Belle’s House”. We immediately noticed the VRBO pictures hardly did the place justice. The cottage is charming and full of character, it’s breezy and cozy at the same time. Everything you need is at your finger tips, including recommendations from the owner as to where to get lobster. The view is absolutely wonderful at all times of day, in any weather. Marty and his wife went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. It feels like we’ve gained family along the way. There are hardly the right words to describe this place, nestled among the beautiful Sebasco Harbor Resort and coves. We enjoyed waking up to song birds and sea breezes and we look forward to coming back as soon as we can.

Great home to relax and unwind listening to the birds, crickets and occasional lobster boat with the peaceful cove to view from the deck. What else could you ask for. Amazing owners who are easy to reach if needed and who are always making sure everything is going well. We hope to come back every year. Thank you so much

Great location on Round Cove and near Debased Harbor Resort. House is excellent and Marty is the best host! Only downside was the drought and water situation. We enjoyed our week and already talking about next summer!

Belle’s House is everything described and much more! The rental is well thought out and had everything we needed. It had many extra touches that gave it a “homey” feeling. It’s obvious that the owners, Marty & Brenda, love the property. We enjoyed every morning sipping coffee on the deck which overlooks Round Cove. Most evenings were also spent on the deck with the ocean breeze coming off the cove. The location is perfect - close to Bath, Brunswick and Popham Beach. As part of the rental, you will have access to nearby Totham Preserve which has a beautiful beach. With Sebasco Bay Harbor Resort close by, we were able to golf many times during our stay. We also enjoyed lunch at Ledges Pub and an occasional after dinner ice cream cone at the resort. Marty & Brenda truly cared that we had everything we needed. Marty offered to get us lobsters from his boat at a great price and gave us information on where to purchase the most delicious clams for steaming. We were sad our stay came to an end but we hope to be back summer!

I have never been to Maine, and I took my mother, grandmother and 16-year-old for a week's vacation here. This is the rare time where the pictures of the house were spot on. Everything was perfect and having four bedrooms was great for us. The pictures of the bay, though, can't really capture the beauty. It's something you can't describe. You just have to see it for yourself. From this house, we were able to travel to so many places. It was a perfect location. It's so easy to hop over to Bath, Boothbay, Bristol and even Portland. It was my mother's goal to see as many lighthouses as possible, and we saw eight in all. Everywhere we traveled was just a little over an hour from this house. The little Sebasco Bay village was super cute and had nice restaurants. I liked how the house was kind of off to itself, though, so you weren't right in the middle of the village. We definitely had privacy. The view of the bay from the front window was gorgeous. The host was also wonderful. I loved his Maine accent! The price was extremely reasonable for all that we had. I really can't say enough about this place. If you've never been to Maine, this place captures everything you think Maine would be.

The cottage is comfortable and well situated. The host is approachable, and the community is pleasant.

The cottage has had a huge renovation since our last stay. It was great to be back again! Proximity to the resort, beaches and Bath are all great. It was really nice to be able to bring our dog too. She loved running in the big yard! Marty is not only a family friend but also a perfect host! We'll definitely be back!

We arrived to a very clean , charming home. It certainly gave an impression of being welcomed and part of the family. The house had lovely pictures of relatives and suitable antique furniture. The home obliviously was lovingly restored . The deck and outdoor furniture are wonderful and faced a fabulous view of the cove. Thought I would read more but the view was too enticing. We particularly loved the quiet neighborhood and walking our dog . It certainly felt safe . We appreciated the TV and access to many channels. Belle is perfectly located and not far from other destinations via car. Definitely a very pleasant experience.

Marty was welcoming and brought us lobsters from his lobster business for one of our dinners. It was awesome to have fresh lobster right out of the ocean. He was prompt to take care of any need we had, which was rare. It is not in a touristy area, which provided a nice family visit without the distractions. There are touristy areas near by to visit. The area is great for walking and if we wanted to visit the Country Club for bowling or golfing. It was right there. I would highly recommend this home away from home. Nice, spacious home with some water view in Sebasco Estates. Well equipped with linens, pots and pans, and basic cooking essentials (spices, etc.). Looking forward to our next stay.

We loved the view and the quiet peacefulness. The house is beautiful, the neighbors friendly, and Marty has some wonderful stories! We brought our bikes and kayaks and loved exploring the area!

This charming house with a long family history has been renovated to be fresh and cheerful; it worked great as a home base for our family as we attended a nearby graduation. Tucked in amongst the properties of a small resort and spa, the house has lovely surroundings with a water view and bird watching out front picture window. The owner, Marty, was solicitous of our needs and even procured fresh lobster and crab for us--fun!

My husband and I just returned home from a wonderful week a Belle’s house! Sebasco Harbor is one of our favorite spots and when I found this awesome rental at a great price I couldn’t resist. We live 20 minutes away so we didn’t do the touristy stuff but if you are not from around here you cannot go wrong with this location! For us it was a way to escape the misery of 2020 and do one of our favorite things at a fabulous location and that is golf! We also managed to catch some stripers which is great fun! Belle’s house is such a beautiful cottage/house and the accommodations are perfect for just a couple or a family! We had my sister and her husband down for 9 holes, striper fishing and wonderful lobsters that Marty provided fresh off his boat at a great price! They spent the night and there was plenty of room. The next day my daughter and her husband and my grandson came down. More golf, fishing in the AM, food to go from The Ledges at Sebasco Resort and again the sleeping arrangements were great! Especially having the walk through bedroom where my grand was next to his parents. Everything was as described and it is such a cute house with a great view of the cove. 5 minute walk to Sebasco Harbor Resort, 5 minute walk to golf. The house sits back so it’s very quiet and the deck is perfect! Sun and shade and the ocean breeze! I caught my hubby snoozing on the deck after a round of golf! I honestly don’t think you could find a three bedroom house with two full bathrooms at a better price and this comes with a fabulous host! From the moment I made the reservation I knew we were in good hands! Marty called to chat when he found out how close we lived! Such a nice man! I called the day before we were to head down to get details on checking in. I placed an order for some lobsters at the same time and we just happen to finish our golf round as he was getting finished up lobstering for the day. Gave us a few lessons on lobsters and told some cute stories and some fabulous family history that revolves around the area. Make sure to listen to his stories and then walk through the house to see the fabulous old family photos. They are a treasure for sure! For those coming into the area or looking for more to do there are several day trip options 10 to 60 minutes away. The golf course is always in pristine shape but it is tight! Marty we will be back! fresh Maine air and quiet was awesome :) do bring your own laundry powder (we forgot ours) we did wish for a comfy couch for an afternoon nap, but the seating is plentiful.
