TreasureRome - Spanish Steps Family Home
This 200-square-meter family residence sits between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, inside a newly renovated historic building with elevator. Once home to a Roman prefect, it is a true nobile apartment: generous in scale, elegant in proportion, and designed for living well together.
The layout is ideal for families and groups. Four large bedrooms and three full bathrooms offer privacy and ease, while the central living room provides a comfortable space to gather, unwind, and plan the day ahead. High ceilings, natural light, and refined finishes create a calm, airy atmosphere throughout the home.
The fully equipped kitchen is set apart along a long corridor—practical for evening meals without disturbing the rest of the house, and perfect for families traveling with children or multiple generations. Whether you cook yourselves or bring in a private chef, the space supports relaxed, unhurried living.
With room for up to eight or nine guests, this home is especially suited to families, reunions, and groups coming together for a wedding, birthday, or meaningful time in Rome. Step outside and you are immediately immersed in the historic center - everything walkable.
As with all TreasureRome apartments, the home includes air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, TV, and all modern comforts needed for a smooth stay.
We are happy to arrange additional services such as airport transfers, babysitting, and grocery shopping.

I’ll start with the positives because overall we did enjoy the house. We stayed there with another family and the flat felt quite spacious. The location truly cannot be beat and we found the neighborhood to be charming and discovered our favorite coffee shops and bars within a day.
The negatives really were the beds and the noise. The other reviews glossed over how truly noisy the front two bedroom are. Not only are the rooms noisy 24/7 but if you are suffering from jet lag they are also incredibly bright. City lights and early morning lights. I really was unable to sleep during our stay. Secondly, the beds are cheap mattress and hard as rocks. The size descriptions were also not accurate. The house consists of three twins, two queens and a full. So if you are expecting a house full of queens - you will be disappointed.
The last thing, and perhaps this is common with rental houses, we needed towel refresh, which were were charged extra for and when we were out of toilet paper, we were told to buy our own.
I gave this house three stars because for the price, everything included was the absolute bare minimum and the listing was misleading on the bed size situation and the noise level.
