A gite of character and grand comfort in the heart of nature
La frazione di La Combe, situata alla fine di una strada piuttosto tortuosa, a 1,7 km sopra Saint Laurent Le Minier, ospita questa autentica casa Cévenole costruita nel XVII secolo, accuratamente ristrutturata e classificata GRANDE COMODITÀ.
Ospitato nella amaca sulla terrazza, uno non si stanca di ammirare il panorama mozzafiato che domina la valle di La Vis e Roc Blanc, ascoltando le cicale. Qui di seguito, 3 minuti di auto, si può fare il bagno nel fiume di Vis, di fronte la sua bella cascata.
La zona è bella. Si consiglia di visitare l'incredibile Cirque de Navacelles o Demoiselles grotta e una passeggiata nel tipico mercato del Gange Venerdì mattina.
Gli amanti del trekking potranno esplorare la natura del massiccio del Aigoual. Gli amanti del brivido possono navigare in Herault in un kayak.

Placed in a hamlet above the regions' most popular river bathing location (the Vis cascade), the spacious appartment (for 4, but with additionally available space for more people) is located ideally for excursions into the valleys of the Vis, the Herault, and the Buèges. From the hamlet itself, one can do a nice hike to a freely accessible cave with hints of stalactite formation to do before finally visiting the wonder of the Grotte des Desmoiselles. The heart of the appartment is a spacious terrace from which one can gaaze over the Cevenne scenery during the day and observe the moon rise (or the stars) at night. There is wifi, a large TV screen, and in the garden there is a source-linked freshwater basin others would rightfully announce as a pool. Very easy communication with the host. A carefree experience in a wonderful setting.

I stayed at this 300+ year old property with various family members and friends for a month. The apartment, part of a small hamlet half way up a small mountain, was wonderful. The views from the patio and kitchen were sublime. Also, the adjoining lawns and gardens are huge. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. There are several hikes available right from the property and a lovely waterfall and rock swimming beach at the base of the mountain. The apartment is 1 hour north of Montpellier and there are several other day trips in the region such as a visit to Saint Guilhem-le-Désert. A true taste of French country life.

Gîte remarquable par sa situation: en pleine nature, au calme , avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes des Cevennes. Son accès avec une route étroite et sinueuse contribue au charme de cette location. Propriétaires forts sympathiques et soucieux du bien être des locataires ; Gîte propre,accueillant avec beaucoup de cachet.Très fonctionnel avec toutes les commodités. Belles découvertes à faire dans un périmètre assez proche (cascades superbes à 2km, cirque de Navacelle à 35 km ect..). Bref, un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer et pour lequel nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
