Non solo l'accesso è da Place du Palais, ma l'appartamento è particolarmente silenzioso perché dà esclusivamente su uno dei famosi giardini segreti di Avignone appartenenti a una piccola dimora del XVIII.
Questo appartamento di circa 60 m² è composto da un primo piano con soggiorno e cucina completamente attrezzata.
Al secondo piano si trova una camera da letto di 20 m² con 2 letti di 80 cm x 200 cm (che può formare un letto matrimoniale di 160 cm) e un'altra piccola stanza in allegato con 2 letti di 70 cm x 190 cm (può formare un letto matrimoniale 140 cm.) Questa camera è adatta per adolescenti o bambini o una coppia per un breve soggiorno perché non è molto grande.
Tra i due piani si trova il bagno con vasca, cabina doccia e servizi igienici.

This apartment is really spacious and was perfect for our family of four. Moreover it is in an unbelievable location, opening straight onto the Palais du Papes, and really close to just about everything you need in Avignon. The small room with two single beds was quite confined for two teenagers, but with a large sitting room, it wasn’t a problem at all. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom adequate - the inclusion of a washing machine was a valuable one for us, and the heating excellent in winter such that clothes dried quickly.
We were met by the host, who had great communication in the lead-up, and who manages a B&B in the same building. This made it all seamless at check-in.
All in all an excellent stay and definitely somewhere we would return to in Avignon - thank you!

Super comfortable, and very unique. Location couldn’t be better. The parking the owner recommends is quite literally steps from the front door and very convenient. Alain was lovely, history of the apartment was fascinating. The apartment was quiet despite being on a very busy central square. Very functional with comfortable beds and pillows. Laundry and drying racks were helpful. Nespresso for coffee in the mornings is always a plus for us. There were some squawky pigeons but that’s the only thing remotely negative I can think of. I would absolutely stay again.

This apartment was all that we had hoped for. We stayed for 5 nights and spent time exploring Avignon, as well as other local towns in the area. Excellent location, and the property owner is delightful and very responsive.

This Vrbo was incredible in every way. The location was ideal and the apartment was perfect for us. Alain was so very helpful recommending restaurants and tips on how to get to the Avignon TGV. We could not have been any closer to all the things to see and do in Avignon. I would definitely recommend this location for your stay in Avignon.

I have rented many VRBOs over the years and have never been more impressed with the communication and thoughtfulness of our host in giving detailed instructions on everything- how to get there, how to run all the appliances, where to park, what to see, how to find things.... It was a pleasure. The apartment was more comfortable than most I have rented and the location was terrific. The only drawback was that the apartment was on 3 floors. I didn't mind the stairs because I got to burn off the calories from the wonderful French cooking and desserts.

The property was exactly as advertised and the location, across the square from the Palace of the Popes, is unparalleled. Alain was a wonderful host. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.

This place was a perfect base to explore Avignon and the surrounding area. It was really fun to be right next to the Papal Palace. The property itself was really comfortable but also had great character. Alain was a great host and so friendly! We parked our car in the nearby garage that was fairly expensive, but we did use the weekly rate and that it made it worthwhile for us. I would stay at this place again for sure the next time we're in the area!

Cozy, quiet, clean and comfortable apartment. Well appointed for extended stays. Tasteful decoration. Location was excellent. In the heart of the old town, across from the Palace. 5-10 minutes to everything including the central train station. Alain was a great host. Merci Alain!

The whole experience was beyond our expectations as it was a last minute decision to visit the city. Alain is an experienced and gracious host, we were instantly comfortable and he made us feel very welcome. The apartment is lovely and unique. The winding staircase through a medieval tower added to the charm for us. It has a beautiful view over the host's private garden, there's even a resident cat to greet you. Alain is an incredible host!

A very warm welcome from Alain started our lovely stay in Avignon. Right in the heart of all the action but totally quiet inside because the apartment faces the inside garden. Modernised and comfortable without losing the charm of the original features. Like many buildings in the old town you will need to be able to negotiate stairs.

Alain’s accommodations felt like home, and that is saying something, as I love my home. This B&B has an ambience that suited me. The location is wonderful, if not dramatic, as the front door literally opens to a scene out of the Middle Ages. Alain is responsive and personable. I’m grateful for this week-long experience.

Enjoyable stay in Avignon. Very good location
Loved it. Very comfortable historical home near everything. Provence was in the 90's but home had A/C in all areas and a beautiful garden area. Alain even helped us get a taxi when nothing was available.

Everything is amazing
The location is right across from Palace of the Popes and central to all the shops and restaurants in the old town. We loved being central so we could take a break during the day. Underground parking is just a few steps from the door. The property is a 3 story tower that was perfect for our family of four. The old architecture was renovated into a charming space with all the comforts of now and beautiful marble staircase through the center. Definitely felt like we were staying in a part of history. Loved it!

Incredible stay!!
This is an incredible place! The photo’s absolutely do not do it justice and Alain was a generous host. We never got tired of working out onto our view and would highly recommend this property to anyone. (unless you can’t do stairs that is, otherwise it’s perfect!)

Wonderful apartment in a great location on the plaza of the Palais de Papes. It would be hard to imagine a better location in Avignon. And Alain was a wonderful host.

The home opens up to the courtyard looking up at the Pope’s Palace, a few meters from parking, and central to everything. It had a lot of character, was comfortable with air conditioning in the summer, and had everything we needed. Alain welcomed us and was very helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

Gorgeous apartment in a perfect location
Perfect spot to discover Avignon and its surroundings. Opposite the Palais des Papes, easy access by car in & out of the city (using the public parking recommended) and located in a beautiful ancient building. Communication with owner was all digital (he was not in the city during our stay) but very reactive with fast answer to our demands. I definitively recommend this apartment.

Ideal in every way
We found this an ideal place for our Avignon stay. You cannot get any closer to the Place du Palais with its many tourists coming and going throughout the day- however inside the apartment provides quiet, peaceful and well equipped and liveable accommodation. The apartment overlooks a most delightful garden. Alain is a perfect host, providing advice on sites to see, trips to undertake from Avignon and most importantly suggestions of good dining out options. Many many thanks Alain.

Spectacular setting!
As noted by all other visitors who have had the pleasure of staying here, the setting is magical. With the Popes Palace as one’s entry point, each time coming to the apartment is a delight. The living spaces are comfortable and spacious, with fans that kept the rooms cool enough at night, even during the heatwave this July. Large windows overlook the gorgeous garden below, and the apartment is totally quiet, even with the windows open at night. Alain is a delight, so pleasant and kind, and sitting in the garden was heavenly. He helped with arranging taxis from the TGV, made useful suggestions, and even offered a glass of wine one day while I was reading in the garden- the consummate host! In summary, a perfect location and host, and a beautiful appartment. Merci Alain, et à bientôt!

Wonderful accommodations in the centre of everything
Cannot say enough wonderful things about this apartment. Absolutely perfect for a family of four (2 teens). Clean, quiet, comfy...and the best location in Avignon! Alain was extremely helpful as well providing us with ideas of things to do and even sliding photocopies under our door for a day trip we had planned. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
