The Cactus Home è una deliziosa guest house / appartamento totalmente indipendente dalla casa principale, decorata con eleganza secondo un tema divertente e molto alla moda: il Cactus. Si trova in una bella cittadina carestia, La Mesa nella Contea di San Diego, e circondato da un giardino di mezzo acro con ibisco, pini, avocado, limoni, buganvillee, cactus, plumeria e molte altre piante e fiori. Il giardino è sempre pieno di tutti i tipi di uccelli, tra cui colibrì e pappagalli.
La casa è completamente attrezzata con tutti i comfort. È organizzato internamente con uno spazio soggiorno con un divano letto pieno e un grande patio con vista sul giardino, una cucina con vista sul soggiorno, un bagno con vasca e una camera con un letto superlativo in stile coloniale king size e top in gomma piuma di memoria. La casa è anche molto fresca d'estate e piacevolmente calda d'inverno e dotata di aria condizionata e riscaldamento.
La proprietà si trova a 15 minuti in auto dal centro di San Diego. Lago Murray è di 7 minuti in auto.
Forniamo ai nostri ospiti tutte le necessità solo per i primi giorni: sapone per il corpo, shampoo, 3 rotoli di carta igienica, 250 ml di olio extravergine di oliva, pepe, sale, 250 ml di aceto balsamico, 150 g di caffè, sapone per le mani , detersivo per i piatti e detergente per superfici. Una volta esaurito, gli ospiti dovranno provvedere alle proprie esigenze acquistandoli autonomamente.

Joy was a pleasure to deal with, she was very responsive to all my needs. The property was very quiet and serene. The casita was stocked with everything that we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The Casita was by far and away the best VRBO I've stayed at. The owner, Alessia, is an amazing host and human being and extremely detail oriented. I was never left wondering on any topic, from shoes to laundry; and when I had questions she was very responsive. The pictures -- while great -- do this place no justice, and it was easily twice as nice in person. The little things also mounted up, too: the swan-folded towel, the veil blinds were all drawn creating a beautiful and exciting entry into the place and bedroom, the outdoor evening lighting was adorable, everything was labeled that needed to be...I could go on. My only comment is the bed is very plush. While great for some people, for me it was too much so I slept on the sofa bed instead which was plenty firm. I have zero complaints about this place and I honestly hope to stay here again. If you ever have the privilege of booking this stay, you will NOT be disappointed.

Had a great time here, the home is beautiful and well presented with lots of amenities. The backyard is gorgeous as well with a hot tube and great view! Also very close to North Park, Downtown La Mesa, and other areas! Would highly recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic Garden Apartment
Our host was very gracious, providing everything we needed for our month-long stay. This is a GARDEN apartment, where you walk out to a spacious patio, with a huge garden. There are orange & avocado trees, and a zillion songbirds right outside. We took daily walks to LaMesa for groceries, antique shops, etc; and the expressways were very accessible. We will definitely re-book.

We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the backyard and the quiet neighborhood. The house has a very homey feel and the bed was super comfortable! This added to so much to our wonderful trip to San Diego! Thank you so much, Alessia!

First of all, Alessia was incredible! The Cactus House was clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have imagined for a comfortable stay.
Alessia was accommodating and patient with us.
The beds were so comfortable and the decor was perfect. The backyard was so secluded and huge! The kids absolutely loved exploring and hanging outside.
I can not wait to come back. Perfect location, very close to San Diego, yet very little traffic and every store imaginable around you.

The Perfect Getaway!
First of all, Alessia was incredible! The Cactus House was clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have imagined for a comfortable stay.

website problems
Everything about the property was all good. But I found the website difficult to use and, as I don't have a smart phone and couldn't use the ap, I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to communicate with the property owner. Once I was able to get her cell phone number, everything went smoothly.

Perfection!!
We had such an effortless and comfortable stay at this lovely guest house. Our family of 4 was so comfortable throughout our stay after being greeted warmly and given all instructions, complimentary prosecco, and treats and games for the kiddos. Alessia was so warm and kind and the beds here are luxurious. Every detail has been thought of here, and the garden and view are so beautiful! We will definitely come back here to stay when we are visiting our family again. Thank you so much for everything!!!

The bed is super comfortable and the backyard is very pretty. The host is friendly and willing to help with any concern.
Only things I would say that could use improvement: add a lock box for the key so if guests come in late they can just let themselves in and add cable for the TV or netflix or something.
